Color amarillo oscuro, casi transparente excepto una capa turbia de un dedo de espesor en la superficie, extraño. Espuma blanca, jabonosa muy abundante aunque de corta retención. Aroma herbal y, escasamente, floral y cereales blancos, asoman notas metálicas que no auguran nada bueno. Sabor en esa línea, las notas metálicas dominando al amargor herbal, una lástima. Textura acuosa. Carbonatación media.
Holà qu est ce que ça va donner ce truc ?! Bon déjà un robe assez foncé pour une bière dite « hoppy » mais une belle transparence et une mousse bien présente ( mais peu persistante ) , de jolies fines bulles.
Au nez ça part sur un côté herbeux couplé à une senteur de malt déjà bien présent. En bouche c est très rond , peu amère et caramélisé.
Heu attend !!! Il était pas écrit hoppy sur l étiquette ?

Fles thuis geprobeerd. Het is een goudgeel bier met een wit schuim. Het heeft een hoppige geur. De smaak is fruitig en hoppig.
Color naranja, con una ligera neblina. Dos dedos de espuma cremosa con excelente retención. Aroma a cereal, levadura y un punto herbal. Gusto a malta, caramelo, levadura y un punto especiada. Cuerpo medio/bajo. Una Golden Ale de manual, no se lo de hoppy a que se debe.
Dorada nebulosa, espuma cremosa duradera. Buen aspecto. Aroma ligeramente lupulado, notas lácteas, que se acentúan en boca. Innegable carácter de ale belga. Equilibrada, ligeramente ácida, levadura presente, con toques lupulados. Tono amargo y lácteo.
Bottle @ Salling Ølfestival. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma o f malt, yeast, fruit, light parfume, light citrus. Flavor is sweet, light sour, malt, yeasty, fruit, parfume, citrus, alcohol. Medium body, average to lively carbonation, warming finish. 040419
330ml bottle drunk at home on a windy March evening. Pours very slightly hazy with a thin pillow of white foam that soon settled to the surface, intense fast-rising carbonation that lasted well. Straw in colour. On the nose, a strange rotten, mushroom, basement aroma arrives and lingers after an initial hit of citrus. In the mouth, high carbonation, some sweetness, very slight sourness, flavours of murky citrus rind, caramel and honeyed malts, estery raisin, mushroom, very bitter with noticeable astringency leading into a sharp citrusy bitter finish. Overall, not terrible, but further evidence that over-hopping a Belgian Ale simply isn't a good idea.
De Hipercor. En su copa. Jugando a Los Pilares de la Tierra. Mucho lupulo herbal muy fresco combinado con agradables notas citricas que recuerdan a la duvel citra pero resulta mas bebible por su bajo abv
Robe or clair, limpide, très grosse mousse visqueuse à grosses bulles, carbo abondante. Nez terreux et séveux, plutôt discret. En bouche, attaque franche, amère et résineuse. Arrière bouche légèrement sur le foin, avec la rondeur qui ressort. Les notes herbacées se développent en deuxième bouche, et l'amertume persiste assez longuement, dépassant la rondeur dans la durée. Ensemble plutôt équilibré, rafraichissant et léger, et quand même assez riche.
Bottle. Spicy yeast, floral hops, citrus aroma. Citrus hops, mild bitterness, high CO2. Easy beer, sticky mouthfeel, crisp, refreshing. Not bad.

For a Kasteel, its very refreshing, nice body, lightly hoppy floral and a very pleasant touch of light bitterness.

De hoptonen zijn duidelijk aanwezig, net als wat citrus.
Lichtzoet doordrinkbier wat toch best een behoorlijke tegenvaller is van de mannen van Honsebrouck.
Le houblon est mis en avant sur l'étiquette, mais est finalement absent. Au goût, en mettant le "hoppy" de côté, vraiment rien d’exceptionnel. Déçu de Kasteel.
330ml bottle; BB Jun 19. Poured into a Chimay chalice at home on 16th Jun 18. Clear golden body, white covering that soon turned into a wisp and collar. Piney hop nose, taste also piney, resin like in a hop bitterness. Nice crisp feel to this hop centric brew.
Fles 33cl thuis. Hoppig bitter, citrus, maltige ondertoon. Beetje chemisch. (3-2014).

Copenhagen 10/3 2018. 33 cl little Chubby bottle from Ølhandleren from Hørning. Green version of the usual Kasteel design. Pours clear yellow with decent white head. Settles as 2 cm thick layer of foam. No Lacing to speak of. Aroma has clear hoppy bitterness. A bit rough and sharp but I can understand why they call this beer “Hoppy”. Strong carbonation and thin, watery texture. Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and finish is semi-dry. Nice with a Belgian Beer that is actually quite bitter - but it is also a bit one-dimensional.

Bottle, from the supermarket in France. Light and bright golden colour, nice white head. Quite a pleasant blonde beer, high pear drop ester, light malt, perhaps a tad firmer on bitterness and hops than a standard blonde but not so much that one could use the adjective hoppy to describe this in the US, for example. Drinkable but a little safe.

Bardzo łagodne belgijskie piwo z bardzo łagodnym dodatkiem chmielu. Ciekawe. Na pewno warto spróbować.

Pas assez long en bouche à mon goût.
Легкий приятный аромат пшеницы. Очень карбонизированное пиво, даже при легком всбалтывании образуется густая пена. На вкус очень солодовый, отдает хмелем. Использован типичный для большинства блондов хмель, не особо ароматный, не особо насыщенный, но между тем послевкусие горьковатое. Крепость особо не чувствуется.
What would be a good (but standard) Belgian Ale as such becomes excellent due to the distinct hoppy bitterness, which might not be for everyone, but therefore this one clearly stands out.
酒帽鬆厚，散發優雅的青草香菜味。酒液碳酸化程度低，前端呈現青草甜，中段轉為草梗香氣並帶有氣泡水口感。酵母香氣少，無尾韻與苦感。

330ml. bottle in Vientiane, Laos. Pours a clear gold. Aroma light floral, grain, soapy. Tastes slightly bitter, slightly hoppy. Light and mild. O.k. but expected something more pronounced rom a "hoppy" beer.
Amargor moderado, lúpulo sem interferência de outros aromas. Final seco e não persistente. Coloração não é muito atraente, mas tem boa formação de espuma. Corpo médio e álcool na medida... Fácil de beber.
Nebylo to pro mě vůbec dobré pivo, ale velké zklamání. Takové jedno velké zředěné pivo, bez nějaké výrazné chuti.. Bohužel zklamání na to, na jaké úrovni Kasteel je.
