Mother’s Milk, as the name implies, is a dark and creamy milk stout. Hints of oatmeal, chocolate and of course, milk make Mother’s Milk’s remarkably smooth and silky finish a classic example of the style.

2.4This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy dark brown color. Lacing was few and far between through a quickly dissipated bubbly white head.
The smell was really sweet through some like milk chocolate tones.
The taste was moderately sweet with a light bitter to balance through some grassy/grainy hops. There’s no aftertaste nor finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a big sessionability about it. Carbonation runs extremely light.
Overall, this is a milk/sweet stout...hmm...I’d have others before this. Yeah, I’ll admit - this needs work.

3.3Bottled. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of straw and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and chocolate, leading to a bitter finish.
3.212 fl oz bottle. Pours pitch black with a huge tan head. Aroma is roasted malty. Bitter, roasted and dark malty. Breadish and liqourice. Dark roasted finish.
3.512 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured black with a small tan head. Aroma of coffee with some roast notes and some chocolate. Taste starts sweet, like milk chocolate some coffee and some oats. Very smooth; my only complaint is that it seemed a bit thin; but overall a very good beer, very enjoyable.
3.9Really nice milk stout! Very good dark pour w/ a tan head that leaves plenty of lacing. The aroma is a delicious roasty & chocolate combo. The taste is silky smooth as the sweet choooclate & slightly bitter coffee compliment each other beautifully! Light, drinkable, & most importantly flavorful = fantastic!
3.2Drank from a pint glass, poured on tap at the Tap House Grille. Pours a deep black, with zero head. Has a nice dark, malty aroma. Has a crisp flavor, a bit watered down, with a little too much of a burnt flavor. There are better stouts in the world.
3.612pz bottle pour at La Cerveceria in NY. Marshmallow and sweet milky cocoa taste. Rather lite. Isn't bad, not a lot goijg on with it. Black with white head
2.4Bottle - Decent head for a stout with large bubbles, pitch black color you can’t see through it. Very nondescript smell. A dry bite to the taste.
3.4Draft at Artisanal Fromagerie Bistro in New York. The pour is dark brown black with a small off white head. The aroma is dark chocolate, roast malt and a bit of milk to the back. The taste is roasted malt, sweetness from cocoa and chocolate and some nuttiness to the finish. The palate is light to medium bodied with active carbonation and a clean finish. Perhaps a bit thin for the style, but tasty and easy to drink.
3.4Pours dark with small off-white head. Aroma is slight with some roasty notes, chocolate. Taste mixes sweet milk with tang of bitter well.
3.2Bottle to stout glass. Pours almost black with a small white head. Aroma of dusty bakers chocolate and roast. Taste is roast and chocolate with a sweet milky... something or other. A bit thin on the mouthfeel. Not bad.
2.8Bottle from a trade. Pours fairly dark with a medium brown head that dissipated quickly. Some ruby highlights as the head dies. Aroma is light chocolate with some milky quality to it. A bit of cocoa to it as well. Taste is chocolate and cocoa, with a hint of roast, seemingly thin bodied for a sweet stout, then turns to a peppery sensation and tingle in the throat as it finishes dry. Just seems a bit light and thin bodied for my liking of a sweet stout
3.5Poured a dark, opaque brown with little head......aroma of coffee, sweet malt.....taste is medium mouthfeel, coffee, bitter chocolate with a smooth finish.
3.8Bottle. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and oats. Taste is milk chocolate and coffee. Medium body and semi velvety. Smooth all the way through. Very good for style.
4.2Aroma: strong dark chocolate, hint of berry

Excellent example of style!
3.9Enjoyed on tap at St Vitus in Brooklyn, NY. I'm really liking this one. Appearance is a moderate pitch black with a thin white rim. Aroma is a nice mixture of dark chocolate and cocoa with a bit of lactose. Taste is fantastic, nicely balanced between lactose and chocolate. Good stuff!
3.8Espuma pouco persistente, encorpada, com sabor de chocolate e malte torrado, aroma caramelo.
3.3Bottle from Winooski Beverage Warehouse. Aroma: chocolate, roast, toast. App: black-brownish, small brown head with lacing. Taste and palate: medium sweet, medium body, average to high carbonation almost like Coca-Cola, watery and minimal bitter finish. Overall: nice aroma, taste is good but the palate is a tad unpleasant due to high carbonation.
2.9Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks zvsn. Pours brown with a huge beige head, aroma of chocolate, sugar, flavor is smoked, chocolate, aggressive carbonation, sour, medium bodied.
2.8Bottle... Pours nearly black with traces of burnt orange and a small, creamy, cappuccino head. The aroma is lightly smoky with a facet of fresh bandage and a redeeming note of vanilla. Full bodied with soft carbonation. The flavor is lightly roasty, watery and thin. Finishes mildly nutty. Not much going on here.
3.7Roasted Malty chocolate aroma with some sweetness. Taste is a nice stout with a smooth milky sweet finish. A nice milk stout for sure. Well balanced, flavorful and just a well made milk stout.
3.4Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks zvsn. Black with a frothy beige head. Dark fruit and cocoa aroma, dry, bitter, coffee taste. Overly fizzy, long, roasty finish.

3.1Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer Market Jaffa. Thanks zvsn. Black with a light brown head. Aroma of milk chocolate and ice coffee. Sweetish roasty flavor with chocolate, light bitterness, an acidic touch and some coffee. Medium-bodied, over-carbonated. OK.
