Dark black body with brown fluffy head. Massive caramel notes, some dark chocolate and coffee, a bit on a burnt side. Alcohol is a quite feelable.
A really good imperial stout. Dark brown with a beige head. Heavy malty aroma, roasted with an addition of caramel and chocolate. Medium body and long aftertaste.
Dåse: Sortbrun øl med lille skumhoved. Typisk Hollandsk i fylden i glasset, ingen oliering. Duften er pastry stout, masser af karamel i duften. Smagen er ikke så fyldig som duften leder op til. Bitterhed i finish, men ikke helt deroppe.
Tap @ Brygshoppen. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, chocolate, caramel, hops, coffee and has a nice roasty finish.
33cl can shared with Susan (my Sister-in-Law) in the Tap and Can, Shrewsbury on 11th August 2021. Malty molasses rule the nose and taste of this black beer. Pours very dark with a smooth tanned head. Intense caramel sweetness throughout, viscous and rich body. Far to easy to drink considering it's ABV. Most enjoyable.
Fantastisch bier, deze Kees Caramel Fudge Stout uit Middelburg. Volle zoete caramel smaak die nergens klef wordt door het hoge alcohol percentage van maar liefst 11,5%. Lijkt op de Eden Quadruppel, ook qua chocola. Heel bijzonder deze! Via Jumbo Oostkapelle.
Can. Pours almost black. Nose is intense chocolate, vanilla, cake, little ashy, sweet. Tastes follows notes of chocolate cake, vanilla, ashy, rather heavy sweetness, little oily. Decent dessert.
Can from HOTM online, York. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Rich, caramel, fudge, chocolate, vanilla aroma and taste. Medium sweetness, very nice imperial stout as expected from Kees.
33 cl can poured into a Snifter. Near black with a thin lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel and chocolate malts, vanilla and coffee. Taste is sweet. Full bodied with an oily texture. Lasting sweet finish with lingering fudge. It does what is says on the tin. For my tastebuds it lacks some hops to balance the sweetness.
Zeer donkerbruin bier met weinig creme schuim. Geur chocolade, vanille. Smaak gebrande mout, chocolade, vanille, rot steenfruit. Vol mondgevoel. Nasmaak bitterzoet, zuurtje, Haagse hopjes.

Inky black in color with a smattering of tan bubbles on top that dissipate quickly. Huge caramel and burnt sugar aroma and flavor. Light roast chocolate and ashy notes. Creamy smooth mouthfeel medium body, pretty tasty.
Black with a short tan head. Aroma of chocolate cake. Flavour is chocolate fudge, fruit cake, warm chocolate cake, fruity warm finish.

As much as I love the BA versions I somehow have not managed to rate the regular one! Pours black with very small head. Aroma is intense caramel, chocolate fudge, some fig and prune. Big body, smooth and thick. Flavour is extremely rich, sweet, loads of caramel, chocolate fudge, prunes, molasses. Lovely.
Can sample at a tasting. Opaque black with brown head. The aroma has notes of milk chocolate, caramel, alcohol, mocha. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, milk chocolate, caramel, mocha, praline. Full-bodied.
Vanille, chocolade, koffie, karamel. Veel smaaklagen met een bijzondere afdronk.
Can. Very dark brown color with medium beige head. Aroma of nougat, fudge, dark malt. Taste, nougat, fudge, chocolate, roasted malt.
Can. Full body, med-light carbonation. Fully malty, supporting the special ingredients. Loads of pleasant toffee, chocolate, rather soft coffeeish roast. High sweetness, balanced by pleasant warmth. Overall the ABV is hidden well, does not feel too boozy. Delicious sipper. Very good.

Bottle from Milk and Hops, Chelsea: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, loads of chocolate, slight booze. Taste is slightly bitter, dark chocolate, fudge, caramel. Sweet.
Can at a tasting. Brown with a beige head. Vanilla, chocolate cake, nuts, fudge aromas, Sweet, roasted, chocolate, coconut, vanilla, bitter finish. Medium-bodied, smooth.
33 cl can served in a snifter. Aroma: Chocolate, caramel, vanilla, fudge, hazelnuts, dark roasted espresso, roasted malts, raisins, dried dark fruit. Taste: artificially flavors of cheap powdered chocolate, caramel, fudge, vanilla, sultana, brownies sizzled with caramel sauce, hops, lactose, dates, plums, burnt muscovado sugar, molasses, licorice. Sulky but somewhat watery mouthfeel, medium body with a roasted bittersweet finish. I really don't get it why this stuff is so overrated...I really don't... this is just some artificially flavoured shit!!!
Kees weet het wel, lekker biertje hoor, deze vloeibare chocolade mousse.
Heerlijk zacht met mokka tonen, chocolade natuurlijk, Fudge, alcoholisch...alleen moeilijk te geloven dat hier 11,5 % in zit. Had iets bitterder in de nasmaak mogen zijn, voor de rest goed.

Aroma a chocolate y caramelo, cae en copa con buena cantidad de espuma, que retiene, y color negro intenso.
Sabor totalmente dulce dentro del tipo de cerveza que es, con el caramelo como gran protagonista. Cerveza áspera y envolvente, de trago corto por su elevado índice alcohólico.
Robe noire épaisse avec beaux accents caramel, avec un col de mousse léger sur les bords du verre. Au niveau des senteurs, nous sommes sur un bouquet caramel toffee du plus bel effet où se mélangent des accents de pruneaux et de réglisse.
En verre, la bière est liquoreuse à souhait et la première gorgée est gouleyante, douce et fine avec de beaux accents caramel toffee, on ne nous trompe pas sur la marchandise, chose promise, chose due. Cette stout est vraiment très bien équilibrée, ronde et parfaite en bouche, une légère astringence avec un beau final qui donne sur des notes de réglisse, de pruneaux et de kirsch.
Vraiment une très belle réussite, bravo, j'en reboirai bien une autre !!
À recommander avec de belles viandes rouges, des potées ou autres daubes et carbonades.

Thin tan head, decent lacing. Dark black brown body. Nose is caramel, chocolate, creamy fudge. Flavour is chocolate, coffee, caramel. Bitter nutty coffee aftertaste. Light carbonation, decent mouthfeel, maybe a wee bit thin. Good stout, doesn’t show its strength.
Nera, versa poca schiuma che svanisce velocemente. Aroma di vaniglia, caramella fondente, caramello. In bocca sentori di caramello, malto tostato, vaniglia, caramella fondente e cioccolato. Corpo pieno e mouthfeel avvolgente e olioso. Alcol ben nascosto. Ottima.

As a Belgian I’m proud of my neighbors.
The mouthfeel is amazing, there’s almost no foam, but you can feel it in your mouth, very full and thick.
Tastes like the can suggests, I’m not good at describing flavors, but there’s definitely some licorice taste to it, slightly bitter aftertaste, and a wonderful toffee aroma.
Definitely will buy this again.
