3.4 Bottle @ Kolding Ølmesse. Sample. Pours clear golden with a small, staying, creamy white head. Aroma has funk, Brett, oranges, zesty, grapefruit. Medium carbonation, fine dry and fairly light mouthfeel. Flavour has sweet doughy and light crisp malts, funk, some orange peel. Soft, lingering bitterness.
4.2 (nez orange/fraise sucré, gelée melon/citron, kiwi-yeast, soyeuse, pear/orange douce cuite, fruit jaune blé-hymnée)
3.7 zoete ipa, minder bitter. moutig. donkere tonen. veel co2
3.7 A nice fruity aroma of grapefruit, light sweet smell. The large white foamy head has a long duration. The body is dark orange. A fruity taste, quite strong of yeast, a little bit bitter. The body is rather light, creamy with a normal carbonation.
3.0 (Keg at Sori Taproom, 20171124) The beer poured deep amber and nearly clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, floralness and earth. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, floralness, sweetness, earth, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was floral and bitter. An easily drinkable brew with too much floralness.
3.1 330mL bottle from International Beer Collector. Pours a murky orange-gold body, holds a firm white head. Aroma has pepper phenolics, biscuity malt, hint of cooked citrus & herb hop but not particularly pungent. Rather full body, slightly cluggy (is this a word!?) - not light & well attenuated like a Saison but has the lively carbonation & drying finish. Sort of get a bit more hop on the palate - bitter orange, overly ripe peach, some cut herb, white pepper, toasty malt. bitterness seems to come from nowhere & blindside you, then vanishes. A bit odd - sort of lacks the delicate complexity of a Saison & aromatic hops of an IPA - a bit of an identity crisis.
3.2 Good tasting IPA with a nice texture and yeasty aroma. Pours an orange glass of beer.
3.5 Bottle, 330 ml, courtesy of JFK10000. Cloudy golden, medium white head. Yeasty, fruity, sweetish. Light bitterness in finish. Medium bodied. High carbonation.
3.6 F: huge, egg-white, long lasting. C: deep gold with orange hue, hazy. A: malt, orange peels, fruity, bit funky, bit cheese, spicy, floral, yeasty. T: floral, herbal, yeasty, grassy, bit spicy, bit funky, citrus, medium body, medium to high carbonation, IPA with Saison features, very nice and refreshing, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Bierwinkel De Hopduvel in Gent.
3.8 Lot of foam. Fresh hop taste. Good dry bitterness. Little citric in the palate.
3.0 Průměrná IPA, která ale neomrzí. Osvěžující chuť, citronové aroma, a jemná pěna.
3.4 S: hops, citrus, yeast A: orange, creamy head T: high bitterness, med sweetness P: refreshing, med bodied, hint of sour finish
3.4 Bottle at Craft Room. Hazy amber body, lasting thick white head. Bubblegum and malt aroma, sandalwoody. Same taste-wise, bubblegum/sandalwood, light citric touched, veery light tartness and bitterness. Bit too dry and tart. Interesting but imperfect.
3.7 Bottle from Albert Heijn supermarket in Gorinchem, The Netherlands. The beer is hazy golden to orange colored and has a large and stable white head, with livingly CO2. The aroma is malty and very fruity, with clear notes of citrus, yet a little peppery and grassy with also notes of tropical fruits. The taste is light sweet and bitter with fruity notes of bananas and tropical fruits and some spicy notes of cloves. The finish is very refreshingly and dry with a nice bitterness.
3.9 Hazy orange body. Bit of citrus and cereals on the nose, quite shy. Later notes of stable. Very fine bubbles. Medium/thick body, quite surprising for this kind of beer. Have a hard time to point out the exact notes on the palate but I love it, it’s quite refined and well balanced. Finishes on a pleasant not bitter finish. Really easy to drink. Not really an IPA, more like a refined farm house with an outstanding body. Love it.
3.6 0,33 l. Bottle. Orange color with off- white head. Wheat and yeast aroma. Fruit, sweet, citrus, peach and hop taste.
2.7 Gele troebele kleur.
3.0 Bottled 330ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Unclear golden coloured, big white head, mild yeasty fruity nose. Yeasty, fruity, slightly acidic, light herbal hoppy and mild bitterness in rather fruity finish. Pretty boring one.
Angenehmes Sommerbier
3.8 Hazy orange body with a large white head. Aroma is malty, hoppy, fruity, grapefruit. Taste is medium sweet and medium to heavy bitter. Average carbonation, light body, bitter finish.
Licht mondgevoel. Medium koolzuurprikkel. Afdronk: licht bitter.
3.6 Medium white head, golden copper coloured body, fruit malts citrus peach smell, fruity peach malts medium co2 medium bitter
3.8 A real nice feeling by drinking the beer those last sunny days. I really enjoyed it. At first, not fully an IPA beer, but flavors and taste developed positively after a few minutes. A nice try from a Dutch brewery that broke the traditional history of principally making Pilsners.
3.2 Pours a hazy deep golden body with a medium head. Faint hoppy aroma of summer flower fields. Taste is refreshing and subtle with well balanced hops ingredient that adds a flowery feel. Would have been great a warm summer evening. Still nice on a cold winter night :)
