Kees Pink Grapefruit IPA

Kees Pink Grapefruit IPA

Het ideale zomerbier, een IPA gebrouwen met
Pink Grapefruits.

Hop: Cascade, Sorachi Ace. Munchener - pale ale, CaraRed. Grapefruit.

3.7 Pous a bit hazy darker amber, topped with very big foamy yellowish head. Gentle fruity nose, bubblegum and melon with grapefruit not coming through at first. Solid bitterness, fruity sweetness is gentle with quite noticeable biscuity malt back later on. Lasting herbal and light body.
3.9 330ml bottle. Deep amber colour, big beige head. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus fruits, caramel. Taste of grapefruit, orange, pineapple, sweet caramel. Medium bodied, very smooth mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Great IPA.

3.4 murky amber, moderate head aroma: pickles, strong caramel notes, candiend grapefruit sweet with light to moderate bitterness flavour is more pickled than grapefruit good sweet ipa with session bitterness
3.1 kolor: ciemny bursztyn aromat: lekki cytrus, mdławy, bez rewelacji smak: karmelowe, troche palone, przypalona skórka z chleba, lekko grejpfrutowe, duża goryczka ziołowo-łodygowo-cytrusowa niezbyt przyjemna, ogólnie słabo
3.1 bottle at home. The beer has a hint of pink to the head. Its not overally grapefruity. It has an amber colour to it. Not enough carbonation to it . Happy to have again but would want more grapefruit added to the beer.
3.1 Amber colour. Very low carbonation. Aroma and flavour have a fair amount of caramel malts and light, bitter citrus.
3.7 Huge beige frothy head stayed on a hazy reddish brown still body. Malt aroma - can’t pick out any grapefruit. Medium to full bodied, thick, airy & tickle back. Bitter citrus, grapefruit, malt, dark sugar & a sweet citrus finish. Similar to a Citrus Brown Ale.
3.8 Bottle - Pours cloudy amber. Hop an pine juicy aroma. Good warming palate . Hops medium bitter with moderately long finish. Balanced , but not all that grapefruity beyond some zest. Solid, but not too distinctive. Didnt get any sorachi ace notes.
2.7 33ml Bottle at Sijf. Very aromatic and a cool concept but mine had some flaws: a lot of sediment/particles in the beer and an unpleasant buttery finish on the palate. Too bad.
3.5 Pours deep golden, slightly haze with foamy white head. Aroma: biscuit, caramel like malt character, citruusy, pine like hop character. Flavours are very similar: caramel, bread, biscuit like malt character, pine like, fruity, citrisy, spicy hop profile, supported with notes of grapefruit which steps forward before finish. Hop bitterness is medium. Dry, bitter finish. Moderate body, soft texture, moderate carbonation.
3.7 Grapefruit, resin, golden with a good white head, light body, carbonation is too soft in my bottle, again grapefruit, grassy, bitter final...quite simple and a problem with the carbonation but good afterall.
3.3 Bottle from Gall en Gall Tiel. Hazy orange coloured with an off white head. Nose is malty, grapefruits, bit of citrus. Flavour is malty, citrus, grapefruits, some hop bitterness. Medium carbonation.
3.5 33cl Bottle @ LaBIRRAtorium, Madrid, Spain. Hazy golden amber colour with frothy white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, citrus, grapefruit, floral, slightly hoppy. Taste is malt, sweet, grapefruit, hops, pine. Medium body, average carbonation.
3.4 330 ml bottle. Pours an orange amber with moderate head. Aromas of sugary fruit candy, dried red berries and toasted malts. Flavors of bitter pink grapefruit, tea, watery red fruit and dry toasted malts. Long bitter finish. Past it’s due date so may be missing something...
3.6 From tap at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Almost clear golden orange color with white head. Light hoppy and malty aroma, caramel, light bread, citrusy fruity, grassy, light pine. Sweet and bitter like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
3.4 Light hazy dark yellow/orange, off-white foam head. Grapefruit and hop in aroma, bitter in taste, again grapefruit present (DUHH). Good drink. (Velp 201701)
3.4 Tap@1pp. Hazy orange, bit darker shade. Light glue, pale malty, bit caramel malty, citrussy, tho not as sharp intense as expected, bit grapefruit juice-y like. Med bodied, soft creamy texture, liking it. Good bitters, enough sweets. Red grapefruit, blood orange flavour. Clean wellfermented finish. Pretty nice. Some of the aroma is probably gone, seemed a lot mellower than expected. Nice still. Lovely soft body. -- rated with beerbasher/winphone
3.7 Bottle at The Leeky Tap, Leek. Pours a clear pale amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, a little passionfruit, subtle pine, slight caramel and a hint of grassy hops. Taste of grapefruit, orange, a little passionfruit, subtle pine, some biscuity malts, maybe caramel and slight grassy, floral hops. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A dry, grapefruit bitterness in the finish. A simple but well put together IPA, lots of grapefruit, citrus and hop bitterness and the subtle balance of sweet malt. Good.
3.5 Bottle from Real Ale Store. Rich golden colour with a white head. Aroma has the grapefruit and orange citrus. Taste light sweet with a light bitter finish. Medium body.
3.0 Bottled. 15cl sample. The aroma has grass, bit biscuit, some citrus and pine. Bit hazy, orange coloured beer with a medium sized, off-white head. The taste is moderate bitter, has grass/hay, some biscuity malt, citrus. Grapefruit is best noticeable in the attertaste. I expected a bit more I think.
3.7 hazy orange colour, minimal off-white head; aroma of grapefruit, pine resiny notes, tropical fruits and some biscuits; taste is the same with minimal dill notes; not a highly sophisitcated IPA, but realls good to drink it
3.7 Anaranjada, nebulosa.
3.5 Sample at All In Beer Fest 2016. Hazy golden with white head. Fruity floral with pine and grapefruit. Dry with high bitterness from both hops and zest. Medium carbonation.
3.1 Fat på All In Beer Fest, Göteborg. Brödig, frisk i doften men nästan lite avslagen i smaken. Inte jättemycket grape. Mja, helt ok!
3.4 All In Beerfest 2016: Aroma is fruity and citrusy, hoppy. Taste is light malty with grapefruity fresh citrus notes and a mid-bitter finish
3.4 Caña en Cimmeria 27..10..2016 (r114). Color ámbar dorado con espuma blanca Aromas y sabores frescos afrutados y herbaceos verdes con final amargo algo seco y duradero. Refrescante. No está mal.
