Brewed with a special yeast that can not process maltose - hence a full brewing process without the alcohol. Result: full flavor, but sorry no bang.

1.2Diesel coloured with a thin head.
Smell of rotten fruit. Trashy taste.
I don't like this beer.
3.2Bottle. Hazy amber with off-white head.
Aroma is malty, pine resin, hay, a little citrus.
Mild sweetness with prominent bitterness. Watery mouthfeel. Soft carbonation.
Pretty good alcohol-free IPA.
3.0Bottle in an apartment in Hamburg.
Fruity aroma of hay and hops with notes of caramel and pine needles.
Fruity flavour of hops and pine needles with notes of grass.
Hoppy finish.
2.9Bottled as Nittenau Le chauffeur Freipa. Does not taste like i resemble Kehrwieder ü.NN. Dark amber color and short lived carbonation. Has body and depth from malts. Bitterness is reduced for an IPA. Very heavy on the caramel malts and a taste gap from the lacking alcohol.
2.9Copenhagen 22/6 2020. 33 cl bottle from Vild med Vin web-shop. Stylized drawing of a frothing sea on the label.
Pours orange amber with a small white head. Settles as thin, frothy layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a prominent malty sweetness complemented by a light sweetish fruitiness. Citric notes. Sweet pale malts, cardboard and bread. Hints of sweet peach. Cooked vegetables. Citrus and lemon.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery, almost flat texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a light sweetness followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Lingers for a bit. Semi-dry finish.
Decent intensity for a low ABV beer. Could do without the vegetables.
4.2Complex given no booze. Sweet at first and bitter hops layer
3.4Bottle picked up from Bierhandwerk Webshop, Nr Freising and consumed at home, Attenkirchen, Tuesday 19th May 2020, we have Chicken, Cranberry and Camembert Pies for tea tonight listening to Craig Charles on 6Music (still standing in for Steve Lamaq) Pours hazy amber colour with a white head. A steady but subtle bitterness throughout, a gentle citrus bite, perhaps a small sweet orange like, tangerine or clementine, nice carbonation. A good non alcoholic beer 🍺
3.0Bottle 330ml. Amber, slightly hazy. Whithe fluffy, very nice head. Aroma is not very pleasant, like sniffing in a homebrewer’s fermentation tun. Very yeasty and worty. Taste is actrually not bad - rather resinous, but not much more than hops. Not cardboardy. Rather decent for an AF IPA.
3.5Bottle.Hazy orange colour with medium white head.Aroma is toasted and malty hint of tobacco and grain but still nice overall.
5.0probably the best n/a beer I ever head. tastes much better than quite some IPAs with alcohol!
2.733 cl bottle (BBD 2019-09-03), bought from Beerwulf as part of their alcohol free pack, drunk at home on 2019-08-31.
Appearance is a clear medium amber with a thin white head that disappears pretty quickly. Tiny amount of visible carbonation. Meh - I'd like a little more head and carbonation.
Aroma is pretty good. A decent citrus kick (lemon and orange I think) with some floral hints as well. Touch of the honey-cereal sweetness that characterises so many NAs, but it's not overpowering.
Taste is nowhere near as good. None of the citrus comes through disappointingly. Noticeably sweet, although it is at least honey notes rather than the NA cereal sweetness. Very slight bitterness at the finish.
Palate is okay. Medium-bodied and very clean. Little carbonation in the mouth up front and a medium-length finish.
Overall, this is okay. Aroma is great, taste much less so but not unpleasant. Needs less sweetness and more hops in the mouth.
God bitterhed i eftersmagen.
3.3Botelski. Unclear amber colour with a medium white head. Grainy and ripe fruity aroma along with citrus and malt. Ok palate. Sweet like grainy ripe fruity hoppy dry flavour, malty and flowery too. Good alc. free brew.
4.0One of the best low alcohol beers I have tasted
3.133 cl fles. Helder oranje van kleur, fijne romige witte schuimkraag. De geur is tropisch fruit en karamel. Smaak is zoet, citrus, sinaasappel en limonade.
2.6Clear copper colour, medium head. Harry aroma and hay taste with some fruity tones. Good in its category.
3.4Reddish gold, nice foam, light Haze. Floral tropical aroma, very delicate but fragrant. Great citrus mild dank flavor, hoppy enough, not too sweet. One of the better non alcoholic beers.
2.3Gylden brun klar med høyt beige skum. Maltig lukt, honning og karamell, noe. Noe sitrus. Fruktig start, maltsødme og noe brent bitter sukker utover. Kort
3.0"Nittenauer FreIPA, Le Chauffeur", Fläschchen per Post von Bierselect.de. -
Dennoch angenehm erfrischend. Als Alkoholfreies ist es zu empfehlen.
3.1Pours golden with a small head, aroma of fruits metal, orange, tangerine, flavor is bitter with orange, tangerine, low sweetness, medium bodied, pretty nice.
0.5Feb 2011 330ml brown bottle, unfiltered, from BeerWulf. Gawh, this is foul. I had given up on alcohol free beers (as opposed to beers which are naturally low in alcohol, such as kvass), because they tend to taste wrong. So how I ended up with this I can't remember. Either I bought it by mistake, or I was tempted to try it to see if this could be a decent alcohol free beer. But no, there's that unfermented malt taste. It's like chewing on the malt itself. Fine in itself, but you don't want a beer made to taste like that. To make things worse, this brewery have slapped in a handful of hops to try to lift the taste, but it just makes the whole thing more muddled and nasty. And to add to the mix is the dead remains of the impotent yeast that failed to ferment the malt properly. Garh. Try it if you want to experience it, but I bet you won't finish your glass. You might give it three mouthfuls just to be sure, then you'll chuck it and pour yourself a proper beer.
3.2Bottle from Beerwolf. Clear orange appearance with small bubbly head. Aroma is strong citrus, lemon, orange. Flavour is citrus, hoppy and slightly bitter aftertaste.
3.6As Nittenauer FreIPA le Chauffeur. Hazy amber colour, white foam. Nose of tropical fruit, aromatic hops. Taste is light sweet, bitter hoppy, bit weak but very nice for an alcohol free beer. Great!
3.3330 ml bottle as „Nittenauer FreIPA“. Unclear amber, medium foamy head. A lot of wheat, oat and pale malts, floral notes, lime, wood, some pine and tangerine. Malty sweetness, some dry fruity bitterness. Light bodied, thin texture, soft carbonated, dry finish. Good!
3.0From backlog. Bottle from Gulating Hamar. Amber with offwhite head. Malts, Tropical fruits. Nice!
