2.4Bottle at Kev's, cheers. Pours clear yellow with a white cap. Aroma: sweet grains, light floral hops. Taste: light to moderate sweet, grains, light grassy. Light body with moderate carbonation. I've had worse!
3.0Fairly simple beer, easy to drink. Good colour and basic aroma
1.8Light yellow colour when poured. White head that disappears very quickly. Easy drinking lager, low in alcohol and low in taste. Nothing much here.
2.3Lys gul klar med hvitt skum. Lett metallisk lukt. Lett. Søtlig maltig smak. Maltekstrakt og korn. Kort
2.4Old Untappd checkin, September 5, 2016. Brown glass bottle. Pale golden color, large head, clear appearance. Bitter aroma. Lightly malty flavor, slightly bitter finish.
1.9Klar gul farge med tynt hvitt skum som raskt forsvinner. Lukter korn. Malt og noe sitrus i smak. Vannete.
3.9Good refreshing beer to walk around WDW with. Had at MK & Morocco.
2.20,5 litre Can, from Gulating Lillehammer. Golden with white head. Malts, hops, sweetness.
2.8Oosterse bami gaat prima samen met een biertje uit Kenia 🇰🇪 . Lichte lager.
2.50,5 l bottle from Sea Cliff hotel restaurant, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Average Pale lager, cool beer is refreshing when outside temperature is 30 C.
3.0500ml bottle - Pours a clear gold colour with an average sized frothy white head that quickly settled. Aroma is sweet malts and light floral hops. A light sweet malty taste, sweet grainy flavour and hint of oranges and sweet spicy hop notes. As a thirst quencher it's probably okay.
0.7Rating copied from Untappd. Bought at Total Wine & More in Tampa and had on 17 dec 2017
2.6Old rating from 2010 - 500ml bottle brought at ASDA on a UK road trip, exciting because I'd had this many time when travelling in Kenya in the 90's. Poured at home in Jersey, it's clear amber with a small white head. Aromas & tastes of flora, grain, corn, grass & malt. Moderate body. Moderate bitter finish. Very enjoyable in the heat of East Africa, but as ever less so at home.
2.2Bottle. Pours very pale gold. Sulfur, floral, plum, grain, corn. Thin body. Pretty bad.
0.9Review: 500ml big brown bottle of Kenya Tusker Lager: 4.2% vol.
My first beer from the country of Kenya, a nation more known for its long distance runners less so for its beers ok let’s see how this goes.
Available in bottles, cans and on tap in selected outlets.
Big brown bottle featuring the iconic logo of an African elephant, with the theme “together forever” printed. Stands out, no doubting this is an African beer.
On pour I get the standard lagery look, creamy white head that looks good on the pour but fizzles out quick, and a light golden coloured beer. Just the look of a regular lager, ok.
The aroma is very faint but can pick up a sweet malty grainy smell, but nearly odourless.
The taste is very grainy and malted barley, but all on the faint thin level.
It has the feel of a regular lager, but not going to set the world alight, and truth be told it is a little boring to drink, light and thin, and has an overall flat taste to it all.
Novelty factor in having a beer from Kenya but nothing else at all there for me to return. A light lager that is boring. Definitely not worth entertaining again.
1.9Bottle. Light malty aroma and taste, light to medium bitter. Light body, watery texture, malty bitter finish. Not that bad.
2.2C: pale amber
N: rather shy, hint of malt
P: honey, honeydew melon, malt, floral
3.0Super light, highly carbonated lager smelling of grass and lemon. Mildly dry finish. Poured from a 12-oz bottle that, I think, was packaged 23 SEP 18 and was best buy 23 SEP 19 but honestly was just fine today.
1.6THT January. Small can. 4.2% abv. Clear pale golden with white head. Sweet malts, smells dirty. Green bean cooking water. Moderate sweet and bitter. Light body and soft carbonation.
2.1Flasche 50cl. Leichte Trübung, Lagerschaden? In der Nase Kräuter, Metall. Relative Süße dominant, Bittere zu zurückhaltend. Schade.
0.8Bitelka 0,5 litra, zakupiona w Craftbeershop w Wiedniu. Barwa złota, klarowna. Wysoka, biala piana, mało trwała. W aromacie wyraźne żelazo
dalej kukurydza i słód. Słodkie, zamulające w smaku. Do tego kukurydziane, metaliczne. Niezbyt przyjemne w odbiorze, a nawet okrutnie złe.
3.1Country #95, Golden, small head, aroma is not much, some malt, sweet, taste is the same, very light, not much, light sweet, bit dry, meh
2.1Puszka 0.5l (BB 07.08.2020). Leciutki, nieco rozwodniony lager, bez cienia chmielu czy słodu, takie piwko na upał.
2.4Bottle @ Beerfestival w friends/Mrs B. Appearance: pours clear straw yellow with ok white soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: barley, bread, straw and hay. palette: light malty aroma, average carbonation, medium body, medium sweetness, somewhat balanced by a light to medium bitterness, short to average duration and a watery texture. Overall: pretty standard
4.2I grew up drinking this beer. My very first beer! To my mind - sacred accordingly. Must be drunk cold. All the best case attributes of an African lager, ranking among the best.
2.8From the 12 fl. oz. bottle with a best by date of Sep 2019. Golden amber pour with a busy carbonation leading up to a modest then fading white head. The aroma brings out a toasted white biscuit and floral happening but also some kind of olive oil sensation. Light and easy palatable body. The taste is sweet and bready and the offsetting olive oil is not there. I can drink these kind of lagers but there are better ones in my opinion.
2.8Bottle at Epcot - Morocco.
Pours clear light golden with a small white head, light lacing. Pils malts, grains, honey and sweet grains.
Ok
2.1Sample from bottle at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2019. My first beer from Kenya, as country # 70! Sweet, grainy Lager with pale malts and grasses. Ordinary.
1.6Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear golden appearance with big bubbly white head. Aroma is malts, nothing on the nose. Flavour is the same, not much to it.
