3.0 Leicht trübes Goldgelb mit reichlich Schaum. Malzig, sehr süß, blumig, etwas Pfeffer, leicht muffig-säuerlich, etwas alkoholisch.
3.1 Golden court clear big white head. Aroma is citrus, orange, grapefruit with a beefy malts bashing that comes up after a while, together with some plum. A bit hard to chug down honestly, had much better triples. It ain’t bsd, just outclassed by others in the category.
3.6 Pours golden copper with very little carbonation. Taste is a little sour with a dry finish. Standard triple.
4.0 Slight caramel with citric notes Blond color White colar with a good creamy mouth feel
2.8 Drank at VCBF 10-06-17. Some soft sweetness, but quite watery texture and standard, not very pronounced triple.
3.6 Robe blonde, fine mousse.
2.5 Blonde, simple looks. Really odd aroma, vegetable looks, flimsy, watery, dusty. Light sweet, simple taste, not dry but just dusty... Really not nice. (On tap at Café Botteltje)
3.1 Bottle 33 cl. Pours a brownish yellow beer with a little white head and an aroma of citrus, floral hops, fresh fruits, slightly sweet with a hint of pineapple, citrus and vanilla. the taste is medium sweet with some slight but long lasting hoppy bitterness. Pretty nice
3.1 F: big, white, good retention. C: pale gold, light hazy. A: malt, grassy, floral, spicy, hint of caramel, white sugar, banana, yeast. T: malt, floral, grassy, sweet bread, spicy, white sugar, medium body, normal carbonation, not bad but not really enjoyed a bit boring to me, 0,33l bottle from Delhaize supermarket in Oostende.
3.6 Bottled, 330ml as Keyte Trippel at t’ Kroegske, Ostend, West Flanders, Belgium. Hazy gold with white head. Straight off with the Belgian yeasty, spicy character. Banana, ester notes, some bitterness. Pretty decent.
3.2 The taste is sweet and bitter, with the bitterness overclassing the sweetness. This keeps it solid but fresh, and not too heavy. Mouthfeel is good, with good carbonation. Overall, the beer’s not very special, but it’s balanced and a good beer.
2.7 Bottle 0,33ltr: Hazy blond coloured brew with an slightly sweet bitter taste, its lacks the spiciness and sweetness of an traditional Tripel and also this one have an little sour aftertaste.
1.4 Weinig, flauwe smaak. Een vrij lichte kleur voor een tripel. Ik zou het geen tweede keer drinken.
3.5 Hazy straw with a soapy head. Malty and yeasts, some earth and a bit of alcohol. White sugar and a bit of stickiness in the finish. Very pleasant in the summer
3.7 75cl, exp jan 2015. Beautiful murky yellow color with frothy head, resembles Hoegaarden. A: predominantly cheese aromas, some Gouda, ripened Gouda, faint blue cheese note. All mixed with a hay aroma, and a funky yeast aroma. Not bad. T: follows aroma but cheese notes are more subdued. Instead, potato and peanut / peanut butter notes are present. D: marzipan, light bitterness. Medium body. Aftertaste is neutral.
2.9 Trade with Douberd. Clear yellow, white lacing foam head. Barley aroma and good taste. (Velp 201504)
2.0 33cl bottle, as ’Oostendse Tripel’. When poured in glass, it features an odd aroma - somehow ’watery’. The scent through the foam is not clean. I noticed barnyard, even soil. The appearance is golden, light brown, with a lager head. The liquid is hazy. The taste is better than the looks. It has some body, the throat is full of alcohol. But the ending reminds me too much of a ’watery’ lager.
3.3 33cl bottle from Bier Paleis, Brugge. Thick creamy white head. Hazy lemony golden pour. An ok triple.
3.7 Bottle 0.33l at Lafayette Bar Oostende Belgium.Pour it hazy golden color with small white head.On the nose grape.Taste and aroma of white wine chardonnay, malt, Belgian yeast.Sweet not to carbonated.Good one.
3.2 Spiced tripel launched in 2004 to commemorate the siege of Ostend 400 years earlier during the Eighty Years’ War. Soft, spicy tripel, fruity, velvety mouthfeel, herbal, with florally hopped finish. Gentle and decent.
3.2 33 cl. bottle. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of yeast, spice, fruit, hops, malt and caramel.
