4,2% Irish Red Ale by Guinness & Co, Ireland - A little tart malty aroma. Clear golden with a very low white head. Light sweet, medium tart taste. Medium body, slick texture & average carbonation
4,2%. Red/amber berr with short White head. Smell and taste of malt, caramel, dades and prunes.
On tap at The Half Door in Hartford during $3 pint night. Dark pour with a creamy white head. OK for $3 but quickly switched over to the much tastier Guinness pints.

A good beer with a nice taste, it is nothing special and tastes like a normal Pilsner, it is very good to drink in a pub or bar;)

330ml bottle, online from Beers of Europe. Pours clear amber with a foamy off-white head. Aroma: toasted malts, caramel, toffee. Taste: light to medium sweet and light bitter, caramel, watery. Medium body with soft carbonation. Lacks flavour for me.
Robe rousse sombre, trouble. Mousse particulière à cause du N2O, très fine, longue à se former, extra crémeuse. Nez malté assez puissant aux touches grillées, voire presque liquoreuse. En bouche, c'est beaucoup plus léger, ça ne pique pas du tout, au point de paraître plat (N2O encore). C'est beaucoup plus léger niveau arômes : du grillé présent, mais très léger, comme un fantôme en arrière-bouche sur un corps très aqueux. Ca se boit, ça désaltère, mais ça n'est pas très aromatique.

Finish is short to average, malty and lightly sweetish, faint roastiness, light hoppyness, faint metal. Faint roastiness but caramel and sweetness dominates. Brew for meek masses.
Bottle from Systembolaget. Reddish/brown with a medium head. Malt, some nuts, toffee and hints of dried fruit. Dry finish. Drinkable but a bit boring. I'm amazed that I have not rated this before.
(Can with widget) Pours with a creamy, thick foamy head. Fine but heavy carbonation (nitrogen?) Clear, portwine colour. First and subsequent mouthful are buttery, mild bitterness, caramel and toffee sweetness. Balanced profile, way too easy to drink.

Duft süßlich in Richtung Lakritz und kirsch. Antrunk frisch und schaumig-prickelnd, auch fällt sofort eine Kirschnote auf. So bleibt es dann auch. Frisch und fruchtig wie Fassbrause mit einer leichten Brotnote. Das mag sich lapidar lesen, so schmeckt es aber dann doch nicht. Frisch und nach leichtem, tief kupferrotem Bier 😉

Wybitnie pijalne, karmelowo-ziołowe, gładkie na podniebieniu, rześkie, z idealną barwą i pianą. Finisz leciutko wytrawny. Bardzo lekkie, przyjemne, zbalansowane piwo.
*Rating overgezet 2016* Het is een donker roodbruin bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het aroma is moutig en zoet. De smaak is moutig en wat vlak.
Dark brown clear with red reflexes. Despite of that a very slight bitterness in combination with low malt aromas fine carbonation transporting the hops equals in a very flushy sip down the throat. Well done.
Bah moi j'aime bien. Elle est ronde, pas agressive. Goût classique qui manque de complexité certes. Au final une ambrée légère qui se boit sans se déguster.
Im Glas findet sich klares dunkles Bernstein mit güldenen Reflexen. Dazu weißer, feinporiger, fast cremig anmutender und gut beständiger Schaum.
Leicht fruchtig süßlich mit einem Hauch Nussigkeit in der Nase.
Frischer und leichter Antrunk, dem ein angenehm rezenter Mittelteil folgt. Ein schlanker aber raffinierter Körper bietet leichte röstige, brotige und zartherbe Noten. Von der Süffigkeit her sehr angenehm, da es im Trinkfluss keine Störfaktoren gibt. Zwar wirkt es nicht sonderlich spektakulär oder gar komplex - das soll es aber sicher auch gar nicht - aber macht einen absolut runden Eindruck.
Im Abgank kommt eine kurze fruchtige Süße auf, die an Kirsche erinnert und welche von den bereits bekannten röstigen Malznoten begleitet wird. Erst im späteren Abgang setzen sich die Röstaromen und eine entsprechende Herbe besser durch.
Eine runde Sache, unspektakulär, aber okay.
Keg. Poured a chestnut brown with a lasting tight, creamy off-white head that left a uniform over. Grilled nuts, roasted malt, caramel, bread. Smooth, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation, finishing short and mildly malty bitter.
Piana biała, obfita, nawet trwała, powoli się redukowała do drobnej warstwy na powierzchni, zostawiła firankę na szkle. Kolor prześwitujący ciemno brązowy. Aromat czerwone owoce, słód, alkohol, karmel. Smak spora goryczka, nawet lekki kwasek, do tego słód w tle, karmel. Ogólnie to nic wybitnego tu nie ma, ale wypić można.
Color cobre, filtrado y limpio. Espuma media, desaparece rápido, espuma beige.
Aroma maltoso, ligero a alcohol, toque dulce al final.
Buen cuerpo, apenas se nota el lúpulo, balance suave.

The Irish red drink. Red brownish color, with an average and long lasting white head. Light aroma of malt, biscuits and vague mixed fruits and herbs. The taste is equally light and coherent with the aromatic characteristics. The body is medium-light and generally creamy, with an average carbonation and no alcoholic taste. Basically an easy beer with no particular strengths or weaknesses.
Аромат немного сухой, много солода, чутка травянистости, есть намеки на карамель, горечь легкая на месте. Цвет полу коричневый, полу темный, пенка средняя и быстрая. Вкус обычного питкого эль из Ирландии. В меру горький но при этом питкий с намеками на карамель легкую. В целом все, ну может легкая солодовая приторность в конце, а так норм.
Very mild, quite sweet which is ok with red ales. Delicate bitterness.

Ambrato intenso con una schiuma persistente ma non eccessiva. Si nota la spillatura a carbo-azoto, la quale aiuta anche a rendere la schiuma pannosa.
Al naso si sente il caramello e il biscotto e qualche nota di luppolo.
Gusto che tende un po’ al dolce; note di biscotto, caramello e miele. Finale secco.
Molto beverina. Buona irish red ale industriale.
