2.3 Gulbrun klar med lavt hvitt skum. Lukter honning og korn. Lett. Noe bitterhet, kornete noe pepper. Kort.
2.6 Bottle. Golden colour with white head. Corn and cereal aroma. Sweet, corn, cereal taste. Medium body.
2.9 Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 34B). Bottle 75 cl - Batch unknown (BBF unknown). AROMA: predominant medium alcohol aroma with a peppery note, followed by corn/cardboard aroma with the same intensity. APPEARANCE: pale gold color and translucent. large white head with medium-low to low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with a medium corn/cardboard flavor, followed by a medium-low grainy sweet malt note. medium-low bitterness with a semi-dry to dry finish. PALATE: meidum-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a stronger pale lager with more emphasys on the corn and with a bit of oxidation.
2.9 Aroma sweetcorn, faint lemon, grass and herbs. Appearance pale yellow, cloudy. Taste very sweet with a tangy apple and faint herbs. Palate very high and very fine carbonation. Overall too sweet and apple, too high in carbonation.
2.3 Jaipur, Woking. Sweet aroma - a massive hint of booze. Golden. No head. Tastes like cider? Frothy body. Confused!
2.0 Light clear gold color with frothy white foam. Aromas, generaly malty with notes of sweetcorn, paper, carboard and ight lemon. Although romas are very weak. Palate, medium body with thin-ish texture and high carbonation leaving boozy finish. Taste, is sweet and alcoholic of light malt, with tones of sweetcorn, paper and light grass. Overall, it is okay, not amazing.
3.0 From Carrefour Camas. In Teku glass. Zapping HD films (Vida de Adele, Invencion Hugo, Norte y Sur) Better than average pilsner. Neutral in nose. Medium carbonation and body. Herbal balanced taste. Alcohol not much bothering. Big head that dissipates quickly
3.2 Pours vibrant gold good head well carbonated aroma alcohol corn very clean tasting some metallic and hint of the Belgian yeast notes decent
3.5 Pale yellow, hazy, quite gassy which makes the head not last long. Grass and hops on the bouquet , initially sweet on the palate but follows with a nice tangy bite to it and a nice mouthfeel, similar to some Belgians or German helles.
3.2 Butelka 750ml. Slomiany kolor z biala obfita kremowa piana.
2.4 Bottle 75cl / Botella 75cl. @ El Corte Ingles, Sevilla, España. A: Golden / Dorado. T/S: Malt, sweet, alcohol / Malta, dulce, alcohol.
2.5 75 cl bottle from palma clear yellow small. White head. Very mild aroma. Lager. Flavor is boozy malts with some yellow fruits and some hops. Carbonation is agressive . Tastes like a Belgian blonde pilsner if that existed.
2.7 Pours a clear glden color, topped with an avergae sized white head, quickly settling. Aroma is malty, a bit grassy with wet paper notes (though not too strong). Taste is sweet, malty, some presence of alcohol can be felt, mild bitterness. Not unpleasant, though, to be fair, nothing extra.
3.3 750ml. Drank from a Tulip. I would like to marry this with a Vindaloo or a very hot Phaal curry - either one would be a palate fuck I am speculating . This strong Cobra equivalent (to the usual Cobra lager drank with curry @ most UK Indian restaurants ) is tight ! There is nothing flashy here - a boozy ,malty and easy to chug honest hight boot Lager. It is cleaner than some typical strong potent lagers . A bit of bready notes , toffee , maybe floral red apple . This ain’t that bad you snobs.
2.3 Bottle. Pours a clear straw colour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of lots of grassy hops, lemon, some wheat, slight yeast, cereal and sweet grain. Taste of sweet grain, cereal, some lemon, a hint of grapefruit, wheat and grassy hops. Light bodied and a fizzy carbonation. A dry, chalky finish with subtle grassy hop bitterness. Slightly more flavourful than a standard lager but the finish and aftertaste aren’t nice. Taste of chalk and cardboard on the palate too. Not worth the £3.99.
3.2 Dorada pajiza, algo turbia.
3.0 75cl Bottle from a toko at Kinkerstraat, Amsterdam. As Cobra King, ABV 7.5%. Brewery not listed, distributed by Molson Ireland. Slightly hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma of apples, malts, light floral. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, yeasty, fruity, apples, champagne, bitter finish. Light bodied. Ok.
3.1 750ml bottle. Morrisons, with a quid off. Clear, pale gold. Film of white head. Very sweet, lemony, grainy malts. Bit of a Belgian yeast thing going on. Taste is sweet, and light, spicy dry. Finishes light dry. Overall it’s an oddity, and not a beer I’d necessarily have again. Ok at best.
3.1 Large bottle from Tesco. Golden, lightly gassy, bubbly head. Malty, German hop aroma. Crisp, bitter and dry. Not bad for a strong lager. Better than standard Cobra.
4.1 Lovely mix of malt barley and hops. Strong too at 7.5%. Easy on the palate and a nice bottled version of the brand. Recommended.
2.2 Lacy head that doesn’t stick around. Hazy colour. Mainly cereal, rice with a barley wine booze finish. Doesn’t show many bubbles but the fizz is aggressive and harsh in the mouth and at odds with its creaminess and slick oil palate. Not all that pleasant. Can feel the ethanol kicking in already and shame to waste so much of this evening’s drinking capacity on the rest of this oversized bottle of plonk.
2.4 Bottle. Nose is cereal, grassy, some fruity esters, the dreaded pilsner cardboard. Taste is cereal, some soft fruit notes, peach, marzipan, a creamy note which I guess was the rice, the a short herbal and grain finish. Mouthfeel is lager horrible. Bought because it was cheap in Morrisons, I wasn’t expecting it to have been brewed in Palm. In fairness it’s much more interesting than the souped up macro-lager I expected, but is still not actually nice in a meaningful sense.
1.8 light sweet malty aroma, pale, white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, bitter sweet funny finish.
2.0 Golden coloured and clear. Has a white head, diminishing. Sweet flavor, malts. Flavor sweet too, faint bitter finish.

2.3 Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt, grass, straw, hops and has a semi bitter finish.
2.3 Bottle, 7.5%. Clear golden with small white head. Aroma is malt, grainy, fruit, little cardboard and hop. Flavour is malt, fruit, hop, grainy, card board, medium sweet , little metallic, warming and a little bitter.
2.2 Bottle. Frothy White good mistly lasting head. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Lighgt bitter flavor. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate.
2.1 Bottle @ Johns. Pours light golden with a small white head. Aroma of malt, grain, little grass. Flavor is light sweet, malt, grain, sugar, corn. Medium body, lively carbonation. 270315
3.0 Looks like a normal golden piss coloured larger. Smells wheaty. Clear rice taste with barley tones and malt finish. Refreshing and deceptively strong.
