1.2 From old tasting notes. Brassy gold color with small bubbles and a brief white head. Sweet grainy malt aroma. Tangy winey malt flavor. Cloying and unpleasant.
1.6 Aroma and flavor is corn/malts, mild fruit and an oddly alcoholic/mostly adjunct finish.
1.8 40 oz bottle from Village Liquors on 38th and Sheridan. Clear golden appearance with a a white head. Mild aroma of sweet malts, bread and grains. Similar flavor, fairly bland with a moderate sweetness. Light to medium body with a watery feel. Drinkable.
1.3 40 oz bottle. Clear gold color. White head. Aroma is grainy, metallic, slightly sour, but faint. Corn flavor, grain. Alcohol comes out when it warms.
1.3 25oz can. Straw color boozy head. Aromas blah grain and corn. Flavors blah grain and corn. Nothing good about this.
1.2 Aroma of corn. Taste of corn, malt sweetness, slight bitterness, quite dry. Quite bad.
1.2 Can. Pours a yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty rubbery grainy aroma. Fruity malty grainy sweetish cardboard flavor. Has a sweetish grainy finish.
2.0 12oz can thanks to crossovert Pours clear golden with a small white head, light lacing. Aroma of corn, grains and sweet malts. Taste is grainy, corn, sweet malts, some alcohols
1.3 Bought a 40 for my wife’s 40th birthday party. I had to cool this to near freezing, and then it was tolerable. Low ABV for malt liquor, so you don’t get the buzz you probably want if you’re investing your funds in this product. It was good for a joke but I probably will never have another.
2.3 40oz bottle poured into piilsner glass. Pours like apple juice, as far as color goes. It has a decent head, not overwhelming. Doesn’t lat long. Some lacing as you swirl, but not a lot. Aroma is meh. First glass was terrible. Second glass isn’t quite so bad. I smell corn, maybe sone cooked vegetables (again, corn). Maybe a little breadiness. Bubble gum. I’m not impressed. It has less of an aroma than say, Budweiser. Taste is pretty sweet. Again first glass was not so good, second glass isn’t quite so terrible. It’s stout, but pretty smooth. It’s pretty strong. I’m not sure about taste. Mouthfeel is very mixed. First glass, it made my mouth numb. Second glass, mouth went numb again, but not so much. It’s smooth, but that’s about all. Overall, you should probably drink it straight it from the bottle. The more I drink it, the more I like it. But for now, as I drink it at the moment, it’s not great. I do however like the price. "Don’t let the smooth taste fool ya" what the heck does that mean? I don’t really like it, sooo, is this a trick? Am I a fool? No. If you’re looking for malt liquor, try something else.
1.9 Poured from a 40 OZ bottle into a red solo cup. This still couldn’t conceal my shame!!! This beer is horrible from the color, smell to the taste. I didn’t even like the label on the bottle. I don’t mind a good malt liquor, I like Colt 45, Magnum and Private Stock. But this is awful.
1.6 Bottle. Pours pale golden, clear. Aroma of corn and sweet malt. Taste of malt, corn, water.
2.0 Chugged straight from the 16 ounce can... Nice grassy and corn smell and taste, it’s different tasting from most malt liquors cause it’s not all sweetness and nothing but sweetness, there is a different taste here that’s quite drinkable. Some decent head in the can from what I can see, it lasted throughout the time I drank it. It’s super drinkable, a little watery - but light carbonation and no skunkiness makes this very easy to down. I got a little buzz chugging it on an empty stomach. Nothin to complain too much about.
1.6 Nothing special. Simple cheap beer with a okay taste. Blonde color with a head that won't last if you turn your head to get a sandwich.
2.0 grassy malt smell, malty grass taste. it’s not the worst thing ever created by man.
1.0 blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah ..blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
2.7 40oz from Food Lion. Golden hue, with fully diminishing white fizzy head. Virtually no lacing. Aroma of water and corn. Taste of sweet corn and malt with a dry finsih. It really didn’t taste much different from a Bud or Bud Light which is okay if you are trying to get a solid buzz. For less than $3 bucks it isn’t that bad and was a good beer to enjoy when your cooking on the grill on a Saturday night.
2.4 Bottle 1,18ltr: Deep golden clear colored brew with an very faintly sweet bitter taste with some hints of some corn. Mine first Malt Liquor from the U.S.A. and immediate the blandest one, but an nice label.
2.6 Decent stuff, dry typish with a a slight aftertaste that im iffy on, decent buzz, killer label, definitely better than A-B flagship brews bud and bud light, theres malts id recommend over this but theres some id recommend it over, worth an occasional cop but not on a regular basis, A-B malt Hurricane is better
4.9 Simply the best bang for your buck and taste way better that regular Budweiser out bud light.
1.5 Sample on hols - weak - very weak - aroma but stronger than budweiser. Corn taste, Not right.
2.0 Back in the day these were $1.39 in Ohio so with tax I came in under $1.50. I still buy this now and then when my thirst is powerful and my wallet is light. It has a lot of body, all sweetness and mostly adjuncts. It’s not very smooth but it’s also not the worst in that department. No refinement here but a drinkable cheap malt liquor.
0.6 "stronger aroma and flavor in this one than some other 40’s...but that is NOT...i repeat NOT, a good thing. If you like this "beer" please seek help from a mental health professional."
5.0 Folks let’s be real. 2.29 for 40oz of goodness. No brainer. Also don’t forget to finish this prior to becoming warm which brings me to the game 40 ounces in under 10 minutes.
2.7 Thanks to the Simpsonville, Sc 7/11 for this tick. Right out of the can. Nose is corn, tin. Taste is sweet, mostly malt and corn. Very much not off putting which is all you can hope for in these ml. Body is medium, medium boost.
2.6 Transfer from BA review on 4-20-13- Poured from can into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a golden amber color with a tiny white head. The head fades almost instantly with only a trace of lace. Smell- The aroma is mainly of a sweet corny smell with some lighter hints of a bready nature as well as a little bit of a metallic smell. Taste - The taste begins with a mix of a malty and corny taste with a light hint of caramel sweetness. Surprisingly, it maintains this flavor largely to its end where only a faint cardboard yet somewhat very lightly citrus hopped flavor come to the taste leaving a somewhat crisp taste to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the medium side with a carbonation level that is rather average as well. A slightly lighter creaminess and mouthfeel may have suited the corny and lightly citrus and cardboard flavors better as well as made it more drinkable. Even with this said, the feel is not awful for the brew. Overall – Not an overall massively tasty brew, but it is wicked cheap (~ 3 dollars for a 6 pack) and is drinkable, so it suits a need and a situation. For what it is, it is pretty decent.
3.0 It’s really not that bad at all ..... it reminds me of Budweiser in flavor, just a slightly more alcoholic twang to it... I only had it a couple of times but it’s ok for the price (less than $2 where I live) . Drink it cold... put it in a glass it’ll taste better in my opinion that way.
0.5 40 FL OZ. ($1.99) this is total boosh and straight up bum beer. the drink of choice among homeless and underage drinkers. An overwhelming slap in the face to serve anyone who enjoys good beer. drink at your own risk.
2.3 Can share thanks to Homer321. Pours a crystal clear golden color with minimal white head, dissipates quicky. Very mild, subtle sweet malt character, with light notes of corn. Light sweet crisp adjunct flavor. Watery, not much mouthfeel at all. Overall, not too bad.
2.5 24oz to snifter. Crystal clear light yellow with large white head that dies immediately. Aroma is corn/rice/hay with some honey sweetness. Taste is initially sweet with some fruitiness. Pretty solid but the finish is just too sweet. Has some alcohol warning as well.
