Kinn Vestkyst

Kinn Vestkyst

Humulus lupulus extravaganza!

3.6 Tap at Kaschk. Amber, light hazy off-white lace. Nice citric and tropical hops, chewy body, classic bitter IPA, nice. 8 3 8 3 14
3.5 Zapach całkiem intensywny, głównie grejpfrut, słodkie owoce, całkiem przyjemny. W smaku nienachalne, lekko słodkie, gęste. Goryczka grejpfrutowo-łodygowa, niezalegająca, średnia. Całkiem fajne jeśli ktoś szuka bardziej klasycznego podejścia do stylu ipa.
3.2 Draught, at KCBD19. Mild fruity aroma. Cloudy amber colour. Very big stable creamy white head. The flavour is caramelly with a clean bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel. Teaish finish, probably from the hops.
3.7 Big ole 7-fiddy bottle picked up by Mrs Scopey in Norge. It pours clearish deep / dark amber with and orangey hue and thick foamy off - white head. The aroma is fresh, perfumed, piney action aplenty, resinous, lemon sherbet zing and some marmalade. The taste is dry, bitter, resinous, fresh pine, green, light peppery spice, lemon verbena, touch of sherbet, some underlying malty sweetness, orange marmalade, tangerine and peach with some booze also with a lingering bitter - dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice fresh old school West Coast vibes. Moreish.

4.1 0,75l bottle. Pours deep amber with big off-white head. Big aroma of pine needles, citrus & citrus peel, tropical fruit (mango & pineapple). Taste is insanely bitter, citrus peel, piney, mango, peach, apricot, hint of pineapple. Medium body, medium carbonation.
4.0 Aroma sitrus aprikos malt humle. Utseende uklar gylden med hvitt skum. Smak malt humle sitrus karamell. Middels fylde, fruktig og bitter. Flaske smakt November 2012, 75cl 7%
3.2 0.75 bottle thanks to Vito. Floral aroma, hints of dead hops, some tropical fruit. Cloudy amber color with small sized white head. Boring malty and floral taste, some fruit. Full body, soft carbonation. Indications of an old IPA unfortunately.
3.7 750ml bottle from Oslo Airport. Darker orange pour, somewhat cloudy and really thick and long-lasting foamy head there. Thin bubbles, super persistent. Really nice fresh nose, somewhat flowery, fruity and tropical nose, light citrus and a bit of resiny flower soap. Tastes fruity, really classical hard IPA, good base bitterness and relatively thick and chewy body. Slick finish, pretty good stuff, nothing too amazing but solid and does deliver.
3.0 Bottled 750ml. -Unclear golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, citrusy nose. Moderate malty, caramel, citrusy fruity, light herbal hops and rather strong bitterness with some odd sweet and sticky notes in the finish. Unbalanced.
3.6 Bottle at Matija's farewell party. Thanks Vito for sharing! Hazy murky amber body. Taste... citrus fruit, mandarin really on a caramelly malty background. Mandarin shows up in the taste too, backed by a nice smooth caramelly maltiness. Quite well carbonated, perhaps gives out a light burn too. Nice.
3.7 Nice old style big bottle. High bitterness, some booze. Full-bodied, aquiline. Semi-dry. Not bad
7,4/10 180428
3.8 Somewhat an old school ipa with a lot of bitterness and less aroma but still some heavy pine and resin on a malty backbone
3.7 0,75 litre Bottle, gift from a friend. Cloudy Dark Golden with big offwhite head. Malty, Hoppy, Tropical aroma and taste.
3.5 Draught at Kød & Bajer. Low fluffy white lasting head. Hazy amber body. Powerful slightly acidic apricot aroma. Dry citrus apricot grapefruit flavor with a suitable amount of hops bitteress. High carbonation. Long dry and bitter finish. Alcohol well hidden.
4.0 Shared bottle at home (Salz’ visit New Years Eve 2017). Pours hazy dark amber with big beige head. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, pine needles, caramel. Taste very bitter and slightly sweet. Medium to strong bodied, slightly smooth mouth feel.
4.3 23/IX/17 - 75cl bottle @ Greet's Travels tasting - BB: n/a (2017-1730) Thanks to Greet for sharing the bottle! Clear amber beer, huge creamy yellowish head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty resinous, orange peel, bit oxidised, caramel malts, some tropical fruits, alcohol, bit of nail polish. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, malty, caramel, soft bitterness, orange peel, bit oxidized. Aftertaste: bit floral, soapy bitterness, some citrus, bit sweet.

3.0 Brought by Ico from one of his trips. Shared with some of us, thanks! Summer of 2017. Murky golden, off-white head. Lightly to moderately hoppy, fruity and grassy hops. Balanced. Medium to full body, moderate carbonation, light finish. This was probably not fresh at the time, so don't count the rating.
4.0 750ml bottle in the garden, late autumn heatwave, 15th October 17. Pours a copper colour with a white fluffy head. Aroma is pine, citrus, slight caramel. Taste is biter sweet, pine, floral, really pleasant, perfume, bitter. Oily pine, bitter finish. One of the best Norwegian IPAs for sure.
3.6 Draught @ Sori Taproom, Helsinki. Smooth, hoppy, piney and resinous IPA with some grass and herbal notes. Okay.
3.6 Draught at Sori Taproom. Amber color, white head. Bitter taste with grapefruit, hops, pine, resin, grass and a bit of mango. Bitter finish with grapefruit, hops, pine, resin and mango. Excellent IPA.
3.5 Frisch vom Hahn im Kaschk getrunken. Dunkles Amber mit dünner Schaumdecke im Glas. Im Mund kommt sofort full body. Überreife Früchte kämpfen im Geschmack mit subtiler Bitterkeit.
3.4 hazy dark orange to amber colour, moderate sized slightly beige-ish off-white head; aroma of pine, mango, caramel and rye bread notes; taste of tropical fruity and malty-caramel sweetness, as well as resiny bitterness; much less complex and enjoyable IPA, than I expected...quite average one
3.5 Aromas terrosos y resinosos Buen aspecto, espuma final y persistente EN boca ligeramente amarga dura Retrogusto astringente
4.7 This is a beer specially to my liking. Bitterness and sweetness in balance, however the bitterness is still comprehensive. A malty taste of bready and caramel(ly) notes, balanced with floral and considerably citrussy hoppy finish. A clear finish with yeast to make a cloudy last pour if thats to your liking. Thumbs up!
3.9 From bottle. Pours deep amber with a long lived creamy head. Nose of herbs, mango, spices, floral. Taste is earthy, resin, fresh fruit.
