1.9 Bought a bottle in asian shop in Eurovea Bratislava. Nice carbonation, nice foam. Smells like malt water, it has very light malty aroma. Taste is like sugar, nail polish and hint of hops. Very watery overall. I've expected this beer to be good, because in Japan, they have damn good food. But I am disappointed. It's expensive, not worth the money.

3.0 3 September 2022. Reef Lounge, Reefview Hotel, Hamilton Island. When it’s humid outside and you are sitting waiting for the shuttle bus to take you to the airport what else is their to do but have a cold draft beer, and this Japanese Pale Lager sure is cold, and refreshing, and surprisingly not too bad flavour wise. Reasonably clear in the glass with a nice amber colour and a soft loose white cushion of foam. The aroma is grain and not overly strong but that doesn’t really detract from the beer though. Crisp and clean in the mouth with a fairly standard flavour that I have come to associate with pale lagers. The brewery uses only the first press of the wort which is clear and pure, hence the name ichiban which means first. Overall I quite enjoyed this smooth crisp lager.

1.8 I had it on tap. It pours golden with a white head. The aroma is standard grain malt. The taste had a strange, stale sweetness. It was much sweeter than expected. I did not like this and would not get it again. I was hoping for something more refreshing.

2.3 Golden yellow color, thin white head. Aroma malty, bit fruity. Tastes like generic lager, very slightly citrusy, thin body, weak bitter aftertaste. Low carbonation.

1.7 0.33 bottle from Maxi, Belgrade, branded as "First Press" and brewed in Germany Pours yellow light golden color with thin head. Neutral, weak aroma. Poor taste, mild, lemon hint, weak, not watery but yet feels poor. Palate grassy.

3.5 Pale lager com trago simples e levemente arromatizado.

2.8 Jasne złoto, klarowne, piana średnio obfita, drobne i średnie pęcherzyki, szybko się redukuje do obrączki. W aromacie słodowe, trochę jabłkowe, delikatne aromaty chmielowe. W smaku słodowe, kwaskowe, trochę jabłkowe, odrobina zielonego chmielu. Goryczka niska, zalegająca. Wysycenie wysokie, pełnia niska do średniej.

3.1 Amarguita al final... fuerte sabor de cevada.

2.1 Bevanda aromatizzata alla birra, leggera e dolcina, semplice, gradevole. Odore un po' metallico e dozzinale, amarezza appena accennata, cioè appena sotto la barra. Ottima per le serate a birra facile, il che è un merito. Non è cara, considerando che ha fatto 10mila chilometri per arrivare al mio bicchiere. Un prodotto medio che stimo altissimamente per la sua medietà.

3.5 Não conheço muito de cerveja japonesa, mas esta é bem interessante. Aroma muito leve, cor âmbar, paladar distinto. Lata 330 ml, até o making é interessante. 👏🏻🇯🇵🍺

2.4 Licht geel bier met een witte schuimkraag die betrekkelijk snel inzakt to een randje schuim. Geur is de typische licht mout geur. wat granig ook. De smaak is niet uitgesproken, heeft iets waterigs en metaligs. Doordat het ook niet bitter is, geeft dat weinig reden tot nogmaals drinken.

1.8 Poured from 650mL bottle. Blonde with white head. Mild and boring, hint of grass hops. Served way too cold in a chilled glass, but oh well… typical macro shit, hint of metallic-ness as it warmed.

3.0 12oz bottle from Hops & Bottles. This beer keeps coming up on lists, so it's about time I checked this one off. Pale golden pour, thin white head, lively carbonation. Aroma is grainy, crackers, faint vegetal notes. Taste is grainy, adjunct grains, oily. Light bitterness. Just OK

3.2 Ar: intensywnosc niska, delikatny slod, typowo. Wyg: klar, jasne zloto, piana rozne ziarno, opada, OK brudzi. Sm: Wysycenie bardzo wysokie, gladkie, lekkie, wyraznie slodowe, w tle delikatny ziolowy chmiel. Pos: slodowe cialo, lekka ziolowosc chmielu z subtelna goryczka.

3.2 Clear yellow golden pour. Very sweet malty smell, almost Haribo! Dryish grainy taste, with some sweetness, dry on tongue. Quite nice balance. Not much bite, very clean. Decent mouthfeel. Not bad.

2.6 Pours with a medium head on gold beer, very pretty. Head doesn’t last long Lemony hop aroma. Flavor is Pils malt with lemony hop. Flavor has a metallic note. Aftertaste is lemony hop. Beer was delicious with Sashimi due to the light lemony flavor. The metallic element detracts, though.

3.7 pours pale straw color white foamy head, aroma metallic and wet newspaper and lemon, taste slight sweetness and citrus nice bitterness, quite a nice beer

2.3 Clear pale gold, thin white head. Minimal aroma, faint malt. Taste, slightly hoppy, touch of spice, lemon, malt, mild lingering bitterness. Ok lager, not memorable.

3.2 Ljusgul och filtrerad vätska med fingertjockt och fluffigt skum. Lätt arom av deg, säd och lite gräs. Lätt söt maltkropp som möter en lite torr och lätt krispig beska. Kort eftersmak.

1.7 Bottle. Clear yellow, big bubbly head. Vegetal, corn aroma. Sweet, corn water, grassy, vegetal flavors. Light medium bodied, dry, fizzy.

2.5 Fin lys med fint skum. Let syrlig bitter duft. Let bitter, men ikke speciel.

3.0 Clear yellow, white head. Malty, toasty. Refreshing, not complicated.
