3.6Keg @Klosterbräu, Bamberg. 06-08-2016.
Pours hazy dark gold-copper with nice creamy off white head. Long head retention, some lacing. Malty, licorice, roasty nose. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Taste is malty, herbal, little biscuit and roasty notes.

2.9Draught at Klosterbräu, Bamberg. Clear golden beer with a nice offwhite head. Hoppy bready aroma, caramel, citrus, iron notes. Malty bready flavor, caramel, dark bread, again iron notes. Not a favorite.
2.8Deep brown color with tan head. Aroma is malty, nutty, chestnuts even, no rusty nails so far. Taste is malty, some smoke?, quite spicy, a bit yeasty, with a hint of a metallic sting that is gone after a few minutes in the glass. Carbonation is ticklish. Not a bad Dunkel!
2.9Pours brown with a thin, creamy head that fails to last. Aroma at the outset is very malty with a dash of celery that, after some minutes out of the bottle, softens to a sweeter, more agreeable pineapple essence. Taste is malty, some butterscotch, with a twist of soy sauce, but overall the roasted malt is dominant here. Lacks enough nuance to keep things interesting for a whole bottle, but could pair well with food, such as pizza, or something meaty. Okay.
3.7500ml bottle at the brewpub in Bamberg. Aroma is light nuts, malt. Appearance is clear amber with a light white head. Taste is light sweet, a bit bitter. Slightly dry. Good.
4.2Aroma doce, amadeirado com notas de mel. Cerveja de corpo leve, refrescante. Carbonatação moderada. Cor acobreada. Final com sabor de mel.
3.6500ml Bottle - Dark brown with some red tinges. Hazelnuts, chestnuts and malt in the aroma. Nutty and chocolatey taste with cocoa, chestnuts, toffee and biscuity malt detected. A hint of coffee is in the finish.
3.1Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty grainy bready aroma. Fruity malty bready caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty bready caramel finish.
3.1Look; huge beige foamcrown, clear copper-red body. Aroma; sweet malts, brown candies, malted candies, caramel, spices, grass. Taste; brown malts, sweet liquorice notes, chocolate notes, modest grassy hops - leading to a slightly dry finish with dried brown malts and some straw. Normal texture and carbonation. It’s okay, but I thought it would be more taste, as Klosterbräu is a specialist on braunbier. [50cl brown swingtop-bottle 5.4%abv BB07-01-2016 T@Ferie2015]
2.4Courtesy of fisler. Okay-ish dark beer. Very malty. Solid, but little fun.
3.7At Klosterbräu, pours a clear medium brown with a off white head. The smell is toasted malt, herbal, mild caramel. The taste is bread, toasted malt, herbal nice dull earthy sweetness. Light plus in body and nicely carbonated.

3.012.7.15: Braunbier wie man es sich vorstellt, malzig, süffig, kein großer Schnickschnack. Hintenweg bittersweet Symphony.

2.5@ Basunen 15-7-11: Ganska svag nötig tone. Lite kola och toffee annars inget särskilt. Lite tunn.
2.6Fra fat på bryggeripuben 10 Okt 14. Gyldenbrun. Litt rødskjær. OK bobleskum som varer en stund. Forsiktig karamellaroma. Smaken det samme. Forsterket karamellsmak i avslutningen. Ble veldig monoton.
3.1500ml vom fass at the brewpub, shared with Finn. Crystal clear golden-brown coloured body. Lasting layer, minimal lacing. Moderate malt-fruity aromas. Leafy hops and brown malty flavours, earth and nuts. Lightly malt bitter endnotes. Fine bodied. Fair enough (Bamberg 10.10.2014).
3.1(Bue sur place): Céréales délicatement grillées, raisins et mélasse claire dans un liquide faible.
3.8Bottle. Clear dark brown color, with a beige medium fast diminishing head. Aromas are toffee and chocolate, with nice roasty touches. Taste is little sour and very decent hopped. Palate is fresh with a medium body and a nice malty sweet aftertaste.
Good drinkable, I like it.

Aroma: flowery hops and malt
Taste: some sweet and medium bitter
Palate: smooth, medium bitter-sweet body, low CO2
Overall: nice.
3.2On draft at the brewery. Clear amber pour. Aroma is toasty, light nuttiness, light grassy notes, not super malty or sweet like a typical north american dunkel. Taste is sweet and nutty, light tea/vegetal notes, slight metallic flavor on the finish. Palate is light. Not bad, but not great either.
