3.5 Bottle poured into a tulip glass. Color is clear gold. No visible carbonation with a small white head. Aroma is simple: citrus and a small amount of malt. Initial taste is grapefruit and caramel malt. Aftertaste is dry with a small amount of pine. Medium body and vibrant carbonation. A nice, simple pale.
3.8 66cl Bottle, bottled on 11-2015, so basically way too old. Tfs Harmen! Hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of resin, sweet malts, citrus, lemon peel, fruity. Flavour is Medium sweet, malty, fruity, orange and lemon peel, resin, citrus, bittersweet finish. Medium bodied. Clearly not in the best shape, still very tasty, makes me want to try this fresh.
4.1 On tap at the Pour Taproom (SC). Pours with a clear amber body and a generous white head that has good retention. Aroma: tropical fruits. Flavor: tropical fruits!. This APA really captures and presents the tropical fruit flavor profile I love about Citra hops -- not every brewer manages this. Mouthfeel: medium body with soft, medium-high carbonation.
3.3 Pours golden color with fluffy white head. The aroma is grapefruit, citrus, floral. The flavor is earthy and grapefruit throughout, some caramel flavors. Flavor dominated by citra hop, seem uni flavored.overall body is light to medium and is very flavorful. But no real depth.
3.8 Bottle from Titans. This is a Single Hop (Citra) XPA that is a beautiful golden  brass color with a thick light beige head and a huge aroma of tropical fruits and zesty pine. Medium bodied, slick textured and yet finishing quite dry. The taste is sweet green pine and woodsy notes, then sweet malts, candied hops and a touch of fruits.
3.4 Growler from Growler Exchange. Slightly hazy golden with thin white head. Fruity, citrusy aroma. Smooth, gently hoppy. Nice.

Light unclear medium orange yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, tropical fruit, grapefruit - passion fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, tropical fruit, citrus, dusty hops, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160706] 8-3-7-3-15
4.4 Bottle @ home. Lightly hazy orange color, full sized off-white head that lasts for a short while. Aroma is malts, loads of hops, a bit resinous. Flavor is about the same, malts, hops, grapefruit, resinous hops, hop and malt bitter. Medium body and carbonation. I love this!
4.4 Bottle from Meditrina. Bright clear gold with lasting dense head and lace. Lemony lemon power floral grapefruit aroma. Light melony grassy sweetness with medium assertive grapefruit lime bitterness in wicked dry finish. Medium-light body lively fine carbo accentuates hops. TOTALLY FUCKING EXCELLENT. Goes down dangerously easy.
3.9 Draft @ Fanny Ann’s, SMF. Nice Citra aroma. Clear golden color with white head, little lacing. Nice Citra flavor, Clean. Med body. Great beer!
4.0 This is wow on every level great pour great flavours great everything find a bottle and enjoy
3.6 Bottle. Pale gold with an inch of white head. 3+ Aroma of grapefruit, herbal lemon more than lime - it’s almost like the grapefruit has been put under the grill to caramelise it a little. 7+ Sweetish and slightly biscuity with lots of nice citrus and some herbal touches. Didn’t get much in the way of tropical fruit. Bitterness is a little lower than expected but it’s about enough. An agreeable beer but - for me - way too much alcohol for what it offers.
3.9 pours a hazy orange from the tap. incredibly fragrant citrus hop bomb. smells like a freshly plucked orange/grapefruit off the tree with a hint of guava. flavors follow suit with juicy pungency. lively palate with a bitter finish.
4.4 Bottle. Pours an opaque light Amber. Nose is incredible dank, grapefruit, stonefruit and marmalade notes. Taste is big grapefruit flavours upfront, light pale malts and a nice bitter finish that’s not overpowering. Really shows off the citra variety.
3.3 22 oz bottle. Bottled on 11/24/15. Thanks Timo A! Hazy golden color with a small white head. Sweet citrusy and fruity hops, dryness and malt in the aroma. The flavor is... dry malt, leafy hops and some cardboard. This is not right. I shouldn’t be rating this old IPA. But will I ever get this fresh? Probably not in Finland. Needs definitely a rerate.
3.7 Juicy citrus hops, some resin, and more tropical fruit. Medium Bodied. Enough malt presence to keep it standing. A very nice single hop IPA.
4.2 Fantastically well rounded beer. Well made, big on flavour but also balanced and just quite refreshing. This is a connoisseurs WCIPA.
3.9 Poofy, off-white head atop an amber body. Wonderful leafy hop aroma, imbued with pine, foresty notes, and zesty orange bitterness. Lusciously flavored with forest and orange citrus hops. Wet. Good balancing of the hops by the crystal malt backbone. Moderately bitter. Juicy splash of forest and citrus on the finish.
3.7 Appearance: clear pale amber with two fat fingers of fluffy ivory head, excellent retention and sticky soapy lacing. (4/5) Aroma: grapefruit, resiny pine, tropical fruit, slight vegetal/onion. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate-high bitter. (7/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, off-dry clean bitter finish. (4/5) Well, that’s all right. Single-Hopped with Citra, with all the concomitant plusses and minuses. On the up side, there’s a decent pithy grapefruit citrus leading the way, with some pleasant, almost dank resiny pine, and pineapple-y tropical fruit tones. The down side is the all-too-common green oniony note that Citra can impart. It’s not strong, but it’s definitely there, and it prevents this from crossing over into world-class territory. (15/20)
3.6 Shared 12oz. bottle. Pours a clear golden coor with a white head. Aroma is tropical fruit. Taste is citrus, tropical fruit, pine. Moderately bitter finish.
3.6 Aroma: mix of fruit and some dank notes; Appearance: clear golden pour with white head that lingers; Taste: follows nose with additional bitterness; Palate: medium body with long, bitter finish; Overall: can appreciate the high quality but not my favorite version of an IPA.
3.9 Pours amber with a large head. Nose shows herbal, piny and spicy hops along with clean malt. Some capsicum notes. Flavours include more pine, resionus hops and citrus.
4.5 For some reason, all the Citra beers I’ve had lately have been West Coast style Imperial bombs. Absolutely no complaints about that, but it’s always nice to visit a less aggressive representation of the hop. Extra Citra Pale is less aggressive, yes, but no less aromatic or juicy. It smells like grapefruit, pineapple, cannabis, and pine trees. Flavor isn’t quite as tropical as the nose, but the grapefruit, lemon, and passion fruit flavors come out strong and bright. A bit of bitterness, but it’s the user-friendly kind. Another lovely hop-forward brew from Knee Deep.
4.0 Great beer great price I got this bomber for 3.50 from beer 101. For value it is fantastic. The nose is very citrus heavy and taste much the same. Not to bitter and really liked the head retention. Great beer would drink often!
3.6 Bottle. A- Pineapple, papaya, grapefruit, tropical fruits, super dank. A- Orange color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Dank, tropical fruits, subtle pine, bitter. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, slight bitter finish. O- The aroma is out of this world. On par with Toppling Goliath pseudoSue and 3 Floyds Zombie Dust. Taste is a little more aggressive with bitterness and dankness. Pretty good but not quite perfect.
3.8 It has a clear golden color with a slight off white head. It has aromas of grapefruit, citrus, and lime. The flavors are similar to the aromas with the attention of some grainy elements. It has a moderate body with moderate high bitterness. Overall, the hop assertiveness is highlighted by grapefruit and lime which dominate the aromas and flavors.
4.0 Pale gold pour, fluffy finger of foam on top, steady health lace. Nose is citrus. Bitter. Middle is melon and tangerine, little caramel malt flavor. Finish is warm and bittersweet. Nice.
3.7 Bottled. Pours hazy deep golden with an average off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, tangarine and piney notes. Sweet flavor that ends up being dry and nice bitte. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft to average carbonation. A very nice IPA indeed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
3.5 22 ounce bottle at defalcos clear lake . . gold hazed .. foam is righteous .. citra, grass, sap, dried grass .. mouth is a but light .. soft bubbles, dinosaurs, medium finish, light stickiness .. . . I’d live in a boot
3.7 Bottled. Small sample @ De Molen. Thanks John and Menno. The aroma has citrus, some biscuit. Bit hazy, golden coloured beer with a medium sized white head. The taste is moderate bitter with citrus mainly. Refreshing. Good.
