Our brewers wanted to make a beer that went down easy after a day out on the water. Big Wave Golden Ale is just the ticket. Big Wave is a lighter bodied golden ale with a tropical hop aroma and flavor – a smooth, easy drinking refreshing ale. The use of caramel malt contributes to the golden hue of this beer and our special blend of hops provides bright quenching finish. 10.3°

4.3 Bottle from Kuhn's Market in Pittsburgh. Really nice unique taste that comes through the whole 12 ounces. Look for this one.

3.0 Enjoyed: Poured from a bottle into shaker glass. Appearance: Blurry golden colour, small head. Aroma: Malt, fruits (tropic, mango, citrus…). Palate: Light body, crispy but still gentle carbonation. Taste: Malt, citrus, gentle fruits, gentle hops, dry gently bitter aftertaste. Overall impression: Easy, drinkable, unobtrusive, refreshing.

3.1 12 oz can pours a clear golden color with average but lasting white head. Aroma has cereal, sweet grains, and some biscuity malt. Taste is slighty sweet with a light body, light carbonation, and crisp mouthfeel. This is an easy drinker for those who like inoffensive beer done without any negatives.

4.1 Uma típica Golden Ale mas com toques marcantes de frutas.

3.1 Nice summer sipper. Sweet grains and mash. Pour was a nice medium gold with a one finger white head. Taste was light and refreshing. Very grain forward. Light malt, a little sugar water. Light carbonation with a sweet finish.

3.0 Yellow copper golden pour with decent bubbles. Sudsy moderate head, thin milky lacing. A cereal malted fragrance. Taste is dry and immediate evaporating Melba toast flavor leaving little behind. Minimal mouthfeel tingling but mild warmth. In no way off putting and a medium finish.

2.7 Clear golden with low head. Malty aroma with some cyrup. Mild cereal and lime taste. Low bitterness.

3.7 Puszka z datą rozlewu 24.02.2022 przywieziona przez szwagra z Hawajów. Złota barwa, średnia piana. Przyjemne tropikalne nuty w zapachu i nieduża goryczka w smaku. Udane Golden Ale.

3.4 35,5 cl bottle @ Masu, Tampere Aroma is quite mild with biscuity malt. Flavour has fruits, apricot, some biscuity malt. Easy-going, easy to forget.

3.0 How: bottle from pint. Fridge cold. BB: 250522 Head: white, two fingers. Colour: straw to golden, light haze. Aroma: citrus fruits, herbal, light malts, ever-so-slight tropical fruits. Taste: thin body, average carbonation, citrus fruits, herbal, sweet bready notes. Medium long aftertaste. A bit old sample for this style, ageing noticeable.

2.7 Alone at home. Blond colored beer with small white head and only few carbonation. Herby carton aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is herby yeasty dry bitter.

3.5 Közepes, tartós hófehér hab, gyönyörű borostyán szín. Fűszeres, citrusos illat. Fűszeres, enyhén citrusos ízek. Könnyed, közepesen szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Visszafogott, mégis élénk, rendkívül könnyedén iható, jól kiegyensúlyozott ivósör.

2.1 🤙 Trübgelbes Bier mit kurzem Schaum-Moment bringt die schicke Flasche aus der Südsee ins heimische Glas. Im Duft findet sich Papaya, auch der gewöhnliche Hopfenduft und ein Hauch Melone. Der Antrunk ist jedoch eher ernüchternd. Hier muss man schon sehr suchen, denn das Bier schmeckt sehr leicht. Natürlich ist das besser so beim Surfen auf Hawaii mit hohen Wellen und bei hohen Temperaturen. Hier, weit weg vom Meer ist es aber eher eine very small wave 😉

3.4 0.355 bottle @ British Club Quite a bit of hay, but somehow sweet. Moderately hoppy. Well balanced.

2.4 Clear golden colour with almost no white head. Aroma of cereals, mineral water, honey, floral. Taste dry, grainy, slightly floral. Strange mineral taste. Disappointed by this one.

3.3 Bottle from M, gl. køge landevej 36. This local cornerstore mini market has two fridges mostly with craft and special bere, even some good stuff. Not expensive, but one of the best selections in valby (which does not say much). anyways, hazy yellow, nearly no head. for the abv, fat malty aroma and flowery notes, a little hoppy bitterness too. aroma does not hint it's only 4.4% abv. mineral water dryness. flavor is mild, very very carbonated, malts, flowers, happy i got it cold. I think the almost buttery maltiness could make this feel flat if it was not quite cold. certanly better tasting than your supermarket macro beer, but at 35 or 37 dkk and a carls special being at 3.5dkk it better be good too. i mean. 10x up in price, no?. bottle has nice artwork, it looks sort of hawaii' ish.

3.5 355ml can on 27th October 2021 from M&S, Euston Rail Station. Pours clear gold with a shallow off-white foam and spot lacing. Crisp aroma of malts, citrus and earthy pungency. Light citrus in-mouth - lemon, and nutty malts. A light, malty finish. Medium to light bodied with a smooth yet engaging mouthfeel.
