3.0 Bottle. Pours clear reddish hazel, medium beige head, good lacing. Aroma is roasty. A bit of wort, caramel, copper. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter. Merlin body

3.7 Das Kozel Dark -wie es bei mir auf der schmucken Flasche steht- kommt braun ins Glas. Die Krone ist gemischtporig, daumendick und verschwindet bald. Der Geruch ist nach Toffee und Röstaromen. Beim Antrunk kommt dann auch das süße Malz mit Karamellgeschmack und Röstaromen. Die werden beim Abgang noch stärker, insgesamt bleibt der Malzkörper aber schwach und wenig konsequent aus Dunkelbier Sicht. Dies hatte ich aber schon öfters bei dunklen, osteuropäischen Bieren. Es hat den Eindruck, als ob ein normales Lager um das dunkle Malz angereichtert wird, um dasselbe Bier unter neuer Geschmacksvariante zu verkaufen. Deshalb ist dieses Bier auch sehr süffig, was wir von dunklen Bieren nicht gewohnt sind. Kann man mal zwischendurch trinken. 07-2019

3.1 Dunkelbraune Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, leicht röstmalziger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, leicht röstmalzig mit Karamell. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

2.3 A single tall can from BC’s Liquor store in Burnaby Heights. A dark brown color, trace white head, faint indistinct nose. Faint notes of molasses and/or caramel. Very bland. A light beer for the winter months, I suppose.

2.9 Roodbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is vrij zoet met iets van karamel en wat graan. Is niet onaardig maar ik had er iets meer van verwacht.

3.2 0.5 l bottle from K-Supermarket Kamppi, Helsinki. Black, opaque, no head. Malty, sweetish and light (ABV wise) as these used to be in Czechoslovakia.

4.0 Tumma tsekkiläinen lager Tuoksu 8/10 Rukiinen, pehmeä ja kutsuva Ulkonäkö 4/5 Tummanruskea ja kuparisen syvä. Vaahtopäät kohoavat tuopin reunaan kuin kuohuvan valtameren aallot rantakallioon. Maku 8/10 Tuoksua mukaileva, pehmeä ja rahtusen mämminen. Ei häivähdystäkään häiritsevää alkoholin makua. Viipyilevä ja rehti jälkimaku. Suutuntuma 3/5 Kermainen, täyteläinen, virkistävä. Kokonaisuus 17/20 Suosikkiolueni, jonka maku kestää vertailun vuodesta toiseen. Yksi tai kaksi kerrallaan riittää paremmin kuin hyvin.

2.8 Сильная карбонизация. Лёгкий, питкий с ярко выраженной жжёнкой тёмный лагер. При крепости 3,8% ощущается как чутка крепкий квасс.

3.0 It's a very vanilla tasting dark lager with some bready-coffee notes in the main flavours. That mentioned it hardly sins on anything either as it doesn't end up being too watery/thin or syrup-like. A really safe option if you're on budget.

4.0 The GOAT of supermarket beers. Granted, it's nothing fancy, it doesn't have a whole lot of depth to it, but it's inexpensive, available in most stores around here, and is highly drinkable. It stands out from the other super-accessible dark beers with its caramel-like sweetness, making it my go-to choice. Not my favorite beer, but definitely the one I've consumed the most liters of, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

3.3 Color ambra scuro, schiuma color nocciola non troppo persistente. Aroma di zucchero a velo, al palato leggera e beverina con sentori di caramello, toffee, frutti rossi e lieve tostatura. Alcol davvero contenuto (3.8%). Non male.

2.9 50 cl bottle @ home. Pours dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour are caramel, bread, and metal - with a dry finish.

3.2 Dark lager that has a solid coffee foundation with some dark fruits and chocolate lurking in the background. For a supermarket beer this is fine.

3.0 Redish brown color with light brown head. Bread, caramel, roast aromas. Average sweetness. Average body.

3.8 Color rubí, espuma morenilla media duración, carbonatación baja, sabor a malta caramelo limpio y con final dulce, en boca es refrescante y se nota que el agua que lleva es de bastante calidad, baja en alcohol y muy bebible, muy gran y buena dark lager 🇨

2.8 Lager dal colore marrone intenso tipo stout e la schiuma abbondante color nocciola. Il profumo è caratterizzato da sentori di malti tostati ma non forti come le stout o porter, con qualche sfumatura di frutta secca. In bocca si presenta molto leggera, bene bilanciata tra i luppoli saaz e imalti tostati, ciò che ne esce sono sentori dolci di frutta secca e caramello seguiti da un finale leggermente amarognolo. Molto rinfrescante e beverina

3.0 Berries, dark fruits, caramel, roasted malt flavor with a dry finish. Pretty good beer overall.

3.1 Colore ambrato scuro; schiuma colore nocciola, alta ma poco persistente. In bocca caramello; gusto rotondo, risulta molto bevibile.

3.6 Shared pint can poured to stemware showing a clear, mahogany color, with a presentable layer of off-white/light tan froth, and spots & strands of lacing. The nose was toasted malt, a bit of dark fruit as grape, slight cocoa, caramel, and a touch of treacle. A little less than medium bodied, the taste was as the aroma notes, adding some light sweetness, and good carbonation. An approachable Dunkel.

Aroma of malt, toffee, bread, chocolate, molasses. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slightly creamy, average carbonation. Sweet malty finish. Quite ok.

3.8 Bevuta il 27/02/2022 @home. Al naso sentori di tostato, caffè e leggero erbaceo. In bocca leggero tostato, erbaceo, lieve caramello. Corpo leggerissimo, texture watery. Carbonazione medio-alta.

3.2 Tap at Bazyliszek, Warsaw, Poland. Pours dark brown, with fine cream foam. Aroma is malty, toasted. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is fairly sweet. Final is average.

2.6 Birra ambrata scura con leggera schiuma. Aroma dolciastro e in parte con sentori torrefatti. Percepibili dms e acido butirrico. In bocca molto leggera e dolce, sentori di caffè e liquirizia molto blandi.
