3.5 I'm not much of a pilsener drinker, but (fwiw) this is my favourite n/a brew in that category. Additionally, it's inexpensive. I don't really miss alcohol in the flavour, don't detect much wateriness or excess sweetness, either - so this is what I normally drink when I want a pilsener. It captures the style as well as numerous 'standard' brews, and I certainly don't know of any other n/a pilseners that come close to it. Bearing in mind that pilsener is such a difficult style to excel in anyway and that a 0.5% ABV target increases the problems immensely (much more so than for fruitier styles), this one gets high marks from me.

2.1 Bottle at bar. Golden color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, malts, a bit of hops and toast. Bitter finish with citrus, malts, a bit of hops and toast. Drinkable.

2.4 Bottle, 330 ml. I'm in the hunt for drinkable, 'real beer-like' non-alcoholic beers. There are two ways of making alcoholfree beers: 1. Interrupted fermentation (that's why most of the non-alcoholics have a half-fermented smell and taste). 2. Boiling method, when the alcohol is boiled out from the fully fermented beer. This one was made with the 1. method, and it's surprisingly good, looks like a beer with a deep golden colour and a decent head. Good carbo, intensive malty and hay aromas with some sweet background. Taste is just OK, a bit sweet and sour, watery palate, but not a disaster. One for drinking, but if u have to drive, or simply don't want to get alcohol, choose sparkling water.

1.7 Une blonde typique avec une belle mousse. Un nez de foin et de malt. Des saveurs de gazon mouillé, de carton et de sucre raffiné. L'arrière-goût est minéral mais à la façon de Vichy. Elle est légèrement pétillante au début et au contact de la bouche elle est aussi aplatie. (2449-180218)

3.0 Bue directement à la bouteille, la bière réussit à être plus goûteuse que je ne le pensais, et le goût désagréable qu’on trouve souvent dans ce type de bière est léger ce qui me surprend agréablement ! Honnêtement à essayer si c’est nécessaire comme dans un dry January;) Cheers! (PS tentez la Heineken 0 qui est supérieure à sa concurrente Becks)

2.3 Found at a Dollarama in New Brunswick (it's always the first place I go looking for craft beer, right beside the plastic office supplies). Has an actually okay little head, some modest yellow body. Aroma is weak bread with some modest crispness. Flavour is empty and bland lemon water with fake bread on the back end. Kind of a drying finish. For an alcohol free, this really isn't too bad to be honest. Now to start adding Dollarama as places to get craft beer..... (kidding, kidding!!)

2.0 Bottle @ Sørens. Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, grain, corn, hay, little cardboard. Flavor is light sour, light sweet, malt, grainy, corn, cardboard. Thin watery body, lively carbonation, light sweet finish. 270817

2.4 Getreidiger Geruch. Im Antrunk getreidig und brotig mit deutlicher, noch ertragbarer Süße. Geringe Bitterkeit, süffig, rund. Für ein Alkoholfreies erstaunlich gut. 9/8/7/7/8/7

2.9 33cl Bottle. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of grass, malt, wort, bread, minerals. Flavour is medium sweet, bread bordering on wort, light grassy, bitter finish. Light bodied. Doesn’t feel like a N/A beer. Decent stuff.

2.4 Bottle rated "normal" free against 0.0%. Smooth neutral bitter beginning with lots of grain. Alcohol-free aroma in the back, fresh smooth, nice bittered. The alcohol-free aroma is in the back, the neutral bitterness with hints of grain cover it a bit. Nice though.

2.5 Bottle. Looks like the regular Pils. Aroma of grains and noble hops. Taste is grassy, grainy and slightly sweet. Some hoppy bitterness. Medium to strong carbonation. Quite good for a low abv beer. Alright for a sunday afternoon barbecue when you are stuck being the designated driver.

1.4 Odeur de mélasse et de pain, belle apparence pour le genre (jaune vaguement doré, grosses bulles, peu de mousse et aussi limpide qu’un verre d’eau). La bouche est cependant décevante, même pour une bière sans alcool : ça goûte le maïs, le sucre, pas grand-chose d’autre. Il existe de meilleures options, même dans les sans alcool.

2.4 0.5 l can from ’EDEKA Preller’ (Breckerfeld), best before July 2017. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly grainy, a bit grassy-spicy aroma of straw, some grains and slightest hints of citrus. Sweetish, slightly grainy, a little grassy-spicy taste of straw, some grains and slightest hints of citrus, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little grassy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very clean, well-done Alkoholfreies.

2.2 I bought this bottle at the hipercor in Sevilla Este, I drank it in the flat in Sevilla. It is an average beer without alcohol, not extraordinary but it is drinkable, cold when you don’t want alcohol. The color is classical gold/yellow, average carbonation, thin and white foam. The taste is malty, few hop for a pils, even free of alcohol, watery, sweet but with more hop, it could be definitely better.

1.0 02-10-16 // 500ml bottle shared. Clear pale yellow colour, with a solid white head. Nose is grainy. Taste is dull, light bread, paper. Not good.

1.7 33cl bottle at Burg Altena, Germany. Nose is malty. Body is clear fizzy pale, head is big, white, rocky, mostly lasting, excellent lacing. Aroma is malty, sugar, corn. Medium sweet. Finish is medium lasting sugary medium sweet. Light body, slick texture, average carbonation. Easy, too sweet, very poor aroma, drinkable.

2.6 Bottle at Hug and Pint. Surprising this, as I could easily have been convinced it was a real lager. Not a great one mind, but I’ve had far worse. Very pleasant surprise, and will look out for in future

2.3 Grainy malts dominate the aroma but hops are actually noticeable. Pretty sweet, but otherwise not far away from an alcoholic beer. Definitely one of the better non-alcoholic beers.

2.1 Bottle, 33cl. Pours clear golden with off-white head. Maize, malt, cereal and hay in the nose. Light sweet with weak fruity notes and acidity. Thin body and watery texture. No hops whatsoever. Drinkable, but boring.

2.3 Fra flaske på M2 Cardinal, skuddårsaften: klar, lys gylden med ok skum. En helt ok alkoholfri øl i den søtlige retning (sommerblomster, mais) og uten den metalliske ettersmaken som ofte skjemmer slike øl. Et godt alternativ hvis man først er så uheldig at man har kjørt til vanningshullet.
