Bottle from Beers of Europe. Dark pour, full body, plenty of brown sugar and caramel. Satisfying.
Aromat ciemnych słodów, skórki od chleba, przypalonego karmelu. lekka nuta metaliczna. Trochę kwaskowo pachnie.
W smaku przypalony karmel, ciemne słody.
Wytrawne, gorzkawe. Nuta słodowa przeważa w stronę ciemnego , karmelowego słodu. Ale nie jest słodkie.
Całość przyjemna.
Alkohol pojawia się w postaci lekkiego grzania w przełyku.

Pours a clear copper brown colour with a large creamy off-white head. Nice lacing. Good looking beer. Aromas of dry dark fruits, caramel, bread and hints of nuts. Taste is of more nuts and bread, light caramel and also hints of leather. Medium to full bodied with an oily texture and a long nutty and very slightly bitter finish. Well balanced. Nice beer

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Clear amber body with an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of stewed red fruits and caramel. Flavour of toffee and fruit loaf. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. Sweet and warming. It’s tasty without being complex.
Pours clear deep amber with a moderate off-white head. The head is well-lacing. Nose: grains, caramel, esters, dried fruit, treacle. Medium body. Average carbonation. Taste: light sweet, rich malts, dried fruit and esters starting. Well-rounded. The hop is nicely blended in at finish. Light plus bitterness. A convincing bock.
Flaska från god vän. Bärnstensfärgad vätska med fingertjock skum. Lätt brödig doft där karamell och gräddkola kan anas. Maltig smak där len aning av bränd karamell kan återfinnas. Eldig eftersmak.
Schönes Rotbraun im Glas, in der Nase erdig, Nüsse, Trauben. Im Trunk holzig, malzig, alkoholisch. Leider mit Hopfenextrakt, sonst eigentlich prima.

A solid malty bockbier, nice amber color. Good maillard type flavours. A slight ashiness. But all around a quality beer. Graeff Hamburg (3.6 Dec 2019). Upgraded d&s Dresden bottle. No ashiness
Aus der Flasche 2019-01 getrunken. Dieses rottbraune Bock kommt neben einer leichten Hopfennote auch leicht süsslich mit einer deutlich leicht säuerlichen Hefenote daher.
A small taste @ the flagship Alko, press blind tasting. Pours clear amber with a medium head. Aroma is clean malts. Flavor is lightly roasted malts with some nuts, some hops. Decent.
Clear ruby pour. Warm, caramel tones with the right amount of spices. Proper bock
Clear brown with a thick off-white head. Malty aroma. Taste is based on malty flavours with a decent bitterness. Quite drinkable.

Brown. Aroma is dried plum dried figs toffee and a little tobacco. Taste is sweet dense toffee with dried figs and A little booze. Very dense but not unpleasant.
0.5 l bottle from 'EDEKA Preller' (Breckerfeld), best before July 2020. Clear, reddish amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, raisins and traces of nuts. Quite sweet, malty, slightly fruity taste of caramel, raisins and some nuts, followed by a short, slightly bitter, minimally grassy-spicy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent Bock, easily drinkable but not very deep.

Bottle. Dark copper/amber with a massive head. Aroma of dark fruits and malts. Taste is dark fruits, malt lozenges, caramel and a little bit of honey. More bitter than sweet. Medium carbonation. Ok. Considering my history with Mönchshof I'm pleasantly surprised.
"Mönchshof Bockbier", Flasche. - Rotgold, blank. - In der Nase karamelsüßliches, breites dunkles Malz und nur vage krautige Herbe. - Antrunk satt dunkelmalzig mit Karamel, Nüssen und dunkler Malzbittere, die etwas dumpf wirkt und durch aromatisch eher vage Hopfenherbe komplementiert wird. Milder rezent, vollmundig kremig aber nicht breit; recht gut kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang gut dunkelmalzbitter und ausreichend krautig hopfenherb. - Für ein Industriebier gar nicht so schlecht. Bei Erwärmung wird es allerdings übel ranzig.

Clear medium amber, good off-white to beige head, mostly diminishing, light lacing; aroma roasted malt, caramel, candy sugar; taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, caramel and burnt sugar; malty sweet and a bit bitter aftertaste, cardboard, sugary; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; mediocre bock.
Lekker bier
Der Geruch ist röstmalzig. Kastanienfarbenes Bier, relativ wenig Schaum. Der Antrunk ist süß und cremig. Aromen von Honig, Malz, leicht kräuterig. Im Nachtrunk ein klein wenig sprittig. Passend carbonisiert. Erinnert mich persönlich mehr an ein starkes Honigbier. Sehr süffig
Bottle @moster Lene's. Clear dark amber, offwhite head. Malty aroma, caramel and hoppy notes. Malty, caramely flavour with a spicy hop note. Sweet in a kind of crude and not very pleasant way.
Bock bier de 6,9 % abv, en bouteille à manœuvre métallique de 50 cl.
Mon exemplaire était à 4 mois après sa date.
Cette bière présente dès avant dégustation deux grosses pénalités :
elle est filtrée et elle emploie en partie des extraits de houblon.
Couleur caramel foncé aux reflets de laiton, et clarté pure (filtration).
Bulles fines, en fontaine centrale, vives.
Mousse beige, soyeuse, stable à 2 mm.
Arômes de caramel, chicorée, candi, pointe de cassonade.
1ère bouche souple, sur un ensemble caramel/candi assez écœurant.
Arrière-bouche qui accentue encore cette impression.
2ème sans vraie personnalité, vague.
Arrière-bouche très courte, sur un radler au caramel.
3ème qui s'enfonce dans la répétition, sans chercher plus.
Arrière-bouche limite pénible.
Longueur qui ne trouvera rien de mieux (on s'y attendait !!).
Jambes fines, courtes.
Levure de lager.
Alcool qui fait moins que son niveau, et qui pédale dans la choucroute.
Finale lassante.
CONCLUSION : un bock sans aucune consistance, sans vraies saveurs,
de la banalité à l'état pur (filtrée). (2/2/2/1/2)
17.11.2018 -- 0.5l bottle from rewe in weil, bb 08.10.2019. pours a clear deep amber with a medium head. aroma of wood, glue, medicine, booze, slight caramel. flavour of apple cake, vanilla sauce, nuts, wood, sour plums. straightforward, not very complex, but drinkable. alcohol is present.
Bottle, alko. Deep amber brown clear. A nutty toasty bready bock. Med sweetness, clean drinkable mouthfilling with a light metallic, herby finish. Nice.

Brązowe, przejrzyste, z dosyć obfitą pianą, redukującą się do obręczy i zdobiącą szkło. Aromat słodowy, mało intensywny, trochę skórki od chleba, karmelu, lekkie akcenty pieczone i palone. W smaku nuta melano, umiarkowana słodycz, lekka kwaskowatość i jeszcze lżejsza goryczka. Wodniste, brakuje ciała.
Clear, copper-amber colored, medium off white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, bit bready, some herbal notes. Taste is medium sweet malt, bread and caramel, some dried fruit, light honey, some light+ herbal bitterness, bit nutty. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily.
Barwa miedziana, idealnie klarowne. Piana drobnopęcherzykowa nie za długo utrzymująca się na powierzchni. Aromat słodowy, melanoidynowy, estrowy, słodki, karmelowy. W smaku jedynie odrobinę słodki, słodowy. Goryczka średnia w stronę niskiej, ale wyczuwalna, dość ostra w odczuciu, lekko zalegająca. Wyczuwalna alkocholowość. Ogółem piwo świetne w aromacie, w smaku nie najgorzej, dobry przedstawiciel stylu.
