4.005L boca. Odlično pivo.
4.30,5 bottle. Tiny wordless label with buckled glass. The beer is very nice. Head almost perfect, dense, brownish-white, hard, very dark maroon color. Sweet, soft, fresh, delicious coffee aroma. Very serious! It also has a creamy, delicious, sweet, coffee, roasted taste. The whole beer is silky, cream chocolate. It’s almost the most perfect brown lager I’ve ever drunk. Huge pleasant disappointment! It is fuller, more aromatic, tastier than many top-fermented browns. This was hit !!! Highly recommended!

Pici semmitmondó címke, csatos üveg. A sör angyon szép. Hab szinte tökéltes, sűrű, barnásfehér, kemény, nagyon sötét gesztenyebarna szín. Édes, puha, friss, finom kávé illat. Nagyon komoly! Ízre is krémes, finom, édeskés, kávés, pörkölt, rendkívül egyben van. Az egész sör selymes, krémcsokis. Szinte a legtökéletesebb barna lager, amit eddig ittam.
3.316.9 ounce bottle at sisters house in Stow, Ohio. Smell the malt. Black in color with little head. Taste the malt and is sweet. Smell and malty aftertaste. Nice beer for the style. Cheers!
3.3Pours clear dark, almost black, mahogany lacing foam head. Nice malty aroma some coffee notes, taste is malty some roast tones. Good One. (Velp 202007)
3.6Bottle from Beers of Europe. Very dark brown in colour with small beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, roasted bread, grain. Light bitter taste, medium body, average carbonation. Easy drinking and quite nicely balanced. Not too bad.
3.6Clean crisp, the right amount of roast. Mild, easy drinking sharp dark beer. Very typical to-style beer. Sommel Dresden. May 2020 3.5
Very chocolate forward for the style, almost fudge-like.

Medelmunfyllnad. Kort eftersmak.
2.7# 1048; 5/2018. Poměrně dosti sladký černý pivo s karamelou až praženou příchutí s trochou lékořice.
3.7500ml bottle from Beers of Europe and drunk on 27/1/2007. It’s weird that I had a couple of Bavarian produced Schwarzbiers that I sourced in the U.K., way back. However, in all my visits to Bavaria since, I’ve really not come across many there. This was a really well made dark lager, with good roastiness and moderate sweet finish.
3.8Bottle from Beers Of Europe.
Pours black with a thick throthy beige head. Nice lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, liquorice and brown bread. Taste is similar to aroma plus a little berry and nuts. Smooth. Light to medium body. Good beer
3.2W aromacie ciemne słody, lekkie nuty czekoladowe.
W smaku wyraźna czekolada. Dość słodkie. Lekko kwaskowe.
Średnie wysycenie. Pozostawia przyjemny czekoladowy posmak.
1.5Very dark and malty, like pumpernickel bread
3.6Muy rica cerveza oscura
3.2Dark brown. Aroma is soy sauce some deep melasses slight raisins something intense similar to dried figs. Taste is intense sweet melasses with some roasty bitter base. Quite heavy. Not bad.
W aromacie kwiatowe, owocowe, czekoladowe niuanse. W smaku jasne owoce, delikatna czekolada, lekka orzechowość. Piwo raczej słodkie. Najlepszy schwarzbier jaki piłem do tej pory.
3.3500ml bottle. Pours black, beige huge head stays. Aroma is roasty, coffee, cold espresso, some mild malty toffee, dark dried fruits. Taste is roasty, quite sweet malty, cold sweet coffee. Roasty sweet coffee aftertaste. Medium body, quite high carbonation. Decent
3.6Delighted to find a schwarzbier at Brown Derby in Springfield, MO. Roasty aroma with slightly odd vegetal quality as well; I might not have let this get optimally cold enough to bring out the most proper aroma. Anyway, classic wonderful schwarzbier taste of roast, chocolate malt ball, nuttiness, and with slight bitterness. Typical creamy mouthfeel and light, easy palate for the style. I love these dark German lagers as a less heavy alternative to the porter and stout ales, which all have a similar flavor profile, but very different bodies/mouthfeel.
3.0Opaque dark brown (actually almost black) with a cappuchino head. Aroma is roasted malts. Taste continues with a roasty start, then malts and licorice and some slightly disturbing fruity element. Turns a bit watery towards the palate. Yet quite drinkable.
4.5Dark color, middle foam size. Good beer, aroma and taste fit into the style.
3.10,5l bottle. Pours black with big frothy tanned head. Roasted malts, hint of chocolate and smokey notes. Some sweetness. Quite simple but good too.
3.7This is about what you look for in a black lager. Probably not the best in the world, but overall well-balance, good flavor/feel, and very drinkable. Semi-creamy textured with a dark brown-near black appearance. Flavors of chocolate malt, with some mild hop and nuttiness. An enjoyable brew from it's region of origin.
3.2Light, drinkable, but uninteresting. Pours dark brown w/ a foamy tan head & messy lacing. The aroma has some roasted malt. The taste is quite similar yet fairly thin & finishes relatively clean. It’s passable but not spectacular!
