4.0Amber hazy with a two centimetre head and yeast deposits.
Fruity smell of sweetened peach and mango. Citric taste with a peaty note of roasted malts.
3.333cl bottle (7,9%) from Carrefour @ Cours St Michel in Brussels.
F: huge, off-white, long lasting.
C: coppery, hazy.
A: malty, caramel, fruity, bit caramel, biscuits, spicy.
T: malty, fruity, spicy, bit lemon sour touch, caramel, toffee touch, medium carbonation, probably not consistent batches here because I see quite different rates and this like previous Troublette feels bit spoiled but BBF: 07/03/2021, ok at least, drinkable.
3.5330ml Bottle (7.9% vrsion) from Laureyssens Bottle Shop, Dinant, Belgium - Cloudy amber body. Yeasty nose, with some floral hops. Lots of orange-citrus, apple backed with spicy caramel and yeasty bite. Long fruity finish.
Aroma fruttato e leggermente speziato agli agrumi. Schiuma corposa e persistente. Bella rinfrescante, ideale abbinata a carni e formaggi.
3.5Bonne biere pas trop sucree. Fruitee et epicee. Bien
3.4330ml bottle pours amber with foamy beige head. Aromas of dried fruit, heavy malts, bready yeast and spices. Taste of apricot, pear, marmelade, toffee, biscuit, Belgian yeast and clove. Plenty of carbonation, but fairly light in the body. Mild bitterness in the finish with some residual spice. A light and fruity strong ale with great label artwork.

7.9%abv BB 11/01/2020
Fair size white head poured atop a slightly murky mid-amber body.
Malt driven aroma - bread crust, golden syrup/honey, sweet biscuits, esters of pear & stewed peach, some pepper & clove & dried fruit.
High-ish carbonation adds a slight creaminess to a reasonably rich sort of body, has a sort of stickiness on the finish, dried out by subtle booze.
Once again malty on the palate - a slightly dominant burnt sugar/toffee note in the works, bread crust & toast, stewed pomme & stonefruits, spicy on the finish, touch of diacetyl in the mix too - bit out of the blue.
Middle of the road sort of Belgian strong - sort of in purgatory between a Tripel & Dubbel; not quite either really.
7,9%. Zurig kruidige smaak.
4.1Robe abricot sec, mousse blanche volatile. Nez fruité, épicé. Goût à l'avenant. Belle longueur. Une réussite.
2.5Hazy brown colour with white head, not very welcoming. Aromas of toffee, raisins and cereal. Taste is of dried fruits, caramel and yeast. Light to medium body and some spice notes. A bit of everything of the sweet side, but quite unbalanced.
3.4Bottle at The Capital, Leuven. Hazy dark golden with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, dark sugar, dried fruit and yeast. Sweet malty flavour with fruity and slightly spicy notes.
3.8Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear amber, velvety head. Nose is sweet caramel with Belgian yeast notes, fruits, raisins. Tastes mellow sweet and soft carbonation, sweet caramel, fruits, light spices. Solid tripel-style Belgian ale.
4.0A very concentraded beer with caramel ,spices and minimal bitterness medium body amber color and consistent foam quite sweet.
2.4On bottle.
Pours hazy brown, with sediment and thick white foam.
The scent is sweet, with notes of prunes and raisin.
It's a little watery, but very sweet.
4.223/08/2017 - tasting glass from 33cl bottle @ the brewery.
Cloudy amber with nice head. Nose is sweet malts, fruits, some spices. Taste is malts, sweet touch, ripe fruits, caramel, some spice.
3.4Bottle at poechenellekelder,4.40?, abv is 7.9. Amber copper color, clear, coarse white head reducing but somehow persistent, looks fizzy. Aroma is mostly fruity with berries and some non invasive caramel, cake, cookies, marmelade, gummy bears maybe, a candy thing, some passito wine. Taste sweet, very light bitterness follows with some tart. Fluffy texture, carbonated. Failry dry long finish with a trail of starch and glucose. Good for dessert, not my preference.
3.07.9% alcohol medium white head, amber brown coloured body, fruity malts apple like smell, medium to high co2 medium bitter fruity banana peach like taste malts yeasts some.liquorise in the distance
3.4Bought in a 750ml bottle from Drankdozijn.nl. Appearance; quite light amber colored beer with white head that quickly disappears (could be my bad washed glass). Aroma; Belgian yeast, caramalts and a bit of white wine. Taste; nice balanced sweet and hop. some toffee and malt. Also the Belgian yeast simmers trough. Not really complex. Maybe a bit flat, but a long smooth aftertaste. A beer you can drink in the summer, on a Belgian terrace. Might not be one that sticks in my memory. Cheers anyway!
3.5Buen descubrimiento, aroma suave y lúpulo notable. Destaca su sabor como Belgian Strong. Color ambar. La descubrí en beerandbirras.com
2.9Bottle. Orange, light hazy color. Thin persistent beige head. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Thin body. Carbonation is medium to high. Aroma and flavour is fruit, malt, caramel, spices, light vegetable, strawberry, bubblegum.
3.5Bottle. Cloudy orangey amber colour. Smooth and sweet. Very fruity (orange-citrus, apple), spicy, malty (caramel), yeasty. Some floral hops. Nice malt/hop balance. Alcohol well disguised. Long fruity finish. Very drinkable. Liked it. (2008)
