3.6 2018/12/31 - Pours a hazy, dirty orange gold colour with a foamy, off white head that quickly dissipates and leaves no lacing. Aroma is citrus, honey, wheat, bready yeast, banana and caramel with floral and spicy notes. Taste is citrus, caramel, bready yeast, spices, wheat and honey with both herbal and floral notes. Mouthfeel is medium with sharp carbonation and a light sweet, herbal finish. Nice.
3.5 33cl Bottle @ Saveur-Biere, Lille, France. Hazy golden colour with a medium size white head. Aroma is malt, citrus, fruits. Taste is malt, citrus, peach, spices, wheat. Medium body, average carbonation.
3.5 Clearish, deeper yellow-golden colored, medium white frothy head, good lasting. Aroma is malt, some caramel, toffee, quite hoppy citrus, spicy and herbal notes, spicy yeasty. Taste is medium sweet malt, caramel and toffee, less hoppy than in the aroma, again spicy, citrus and herbal notes, medium bitterness, spicy yeasty. Medium bodied, average carbonation, oily. Very nice aroma but the taste is more caramelish than hoppy, bit too much for me. (bottle)
3.6 Hay barnyard taste with some floral and clove notes. Pink peppercorn and aniseed finish the mix. Hides its strength well. Good belgium blonde.
3.3 Bottle from beershop. Hazy yellow color, white head. Big Belgian yeast, floral taste
3.8 Bottle at 't Poatersgat. Hazy blonde beer with an explosive head. Fruity and spicy aroma with suggestions of sweet bread, banana, clove. The palate is pretty full with lively carbonation. Yeast is the expected focus here with a bouquet of fruit and spice in a musty basement.
3.9 23/08/2017 - tasting glass from a 33cl bottle @ the brewery. Orange colour with big white head. Nose is grainy, herbal touch, spices. Taste is malts, herbal, spices, sour touch, some hopbitter.
3.9 Blonde claire, claire, transparente.
3.9 I bought this bottle from the boissons service in Malley. I drank it in family at Bonfol. I personnaly found this beer pleasant, on the classical way of Belgium, perfect with mussels. The color is yellow, orange, troubled, huge white head when you pour it, carbonation is higher than usual, sensation of champagne, typical from these Belgian beers. The taste is malty, more fruity than the troublette, a bit sour, touch of apricot, some hop, giving a good nectar to read the greek history step by step, well balanced, taking stronger notes at the final.
3.9 Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass: White head. Hazy yellow orange body. Nose of lemon, light citrus, soap, wheat, light malt and porridge... Flavour is fruity like citrus, lemon, tangerine, wheat, yeast, porridge, light rice, bitter... Aftertaste is bitter, fruity, yeasty... Low carbo, creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied.
3.2 Hazy deep yellow, big foam. Faint aroma. Honey and flowers in the taste, with yeast notes. Nice and refreshing.

3.4 White foamy full lasting head. Light amber colour. Aroma is moderately malty with fruity (ripe pear, apricot and peach) and light spicy and vinous notes. Flavor is malty with fruity (apricot and apple) and light hoppy tones, ending in a balanced finish. Medium bodied.

3.5 Bottle from Beergium. Amber color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, yeast, a bit of floral hops, ripe fruits, malts, toast and grass. Bitter finish with citrus, yeast, floral hops, ripe fruits, toast and grass. Very nice Belgian strong ale.
3.5 Bottle. BBE date June 2010; Drank Apr 2009 - Golden in colour. Yeasty & Spicy. Fruity; citrus-orange, apples, pears. Malty; caramel. Hoppy; floral hops. Dryish. Soft & mild in taste. Sweet fruity throughout leading to a mildly hoppy finish. (2009-04)
3.2 sample from bottle, poured hazy deep golden with a white head. nose of soft malts, again yeast like all their beers, citrus, soft grains, cloves, granny smith apples. taste follows the nose, light malt bite, and dry yeast
3.7 A hazy, a golden beer, a head is big and blond. Aroma has fruitness also with some notes of sweet fruit candies some spicyness and lemon. Taste has general europian fruitness, some tart apples, also lemon. Medium bodied, strong and refrehning carbonation. Balanced and good beer. Tastefull.
2.7 Pours a cloudy golden with a short white head. Faint nose. Lightly sweet. I don’t know where the ETOH is hidden. Not nearly malty enough for the ABV. Drinks very lightly. Competing tartness and sweetness, though at a subdued level.
3.1 Tap @ Kafe Belgie. Hazy blonde coloured with a white head. Nose is caramel, candy, bit of fruits, yeasty. Flavour of caramel malts, sweet fruity, yeasty. Slightly alcholic.
2.5 [backlog] 25-11-15 / 750ml bottle at home, bought in a store in Rochefort, Belgium. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating 2.75/5
2.6 6 oz. pour, on tap at City Works in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. Consumed on 8-11-16. Clear to lightly hazy gold. Small amount of beige head. Good lacing. Juicy, golden raisin smell. A bit of spice and dust in the aroma. Mineral, metallic flavor. Frothy in the palate. Medium body. Overall, a nothing beer.
3.6 It pours clear and golden with a huge white head. The aroma contains fruits, spices, yeast, honey and hops. It tastes medium sweet and bitter with a light dry finish. Medium body and lively carbonation. Quite complex.
3.8 Sparkling pale golden, sparkling lightly, big white frothy head. Mildly sweet aroma, bit chalky, soapy, cooked fruits, yeast, mild pepper. Light body, semidry, crisp, long fruity finish. Ok, flavor and palate work well, easy to drink, fresh.
3.7 Aroma: Medium aroma of malts, caramel, Belgian yeast, hops and spices. Appearance: Hazy golden beer with a slight/medium white/off-white head. Taste/Palate: Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel and Belgian yeast; ends slightly dry with hops and spices. Overall: This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. A Belgian Strong Ale with spicy yeast tastes so great if it is balanced.
