Poured at Shelton Festival, gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is yeast and wet biscuit. Medium body wheat, yeast, toasted grain, light finish, good.
Bouteille de 75cl trouvée chez Leclerc à Lille Fives. Couleur blonde dorée, légère mousse blanche et carbonatation assez faible. Nez fruité. Goût houblonné et fruité, texture aqueuse. Petite bière de base qui passe bien, n'a rien de sensationnel mais se boit bien. Bonne bière de soif en résumé.
In the nose you find aromas like wit. Some coriander, malt, bitter orange. The taste is sweet, with some fruit and a fine bitterness. The finale ist long with an pronounced sweet.
Fles 75cl in Muides-sur-Loire. Goede balans. Wat zoettonen. Niet te koud drinken. (8-2013).
Blonde comme il faut, belle effervescence. Fruitée, une petite touche d'amande. Une jolie bière de tous les jours.
Frederiksberg 23/12-2017. 75 cl bottle shared with my sister and Brother-in-law. Very simple label saying "Biere du Garde" and "Artisinal". Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with small white head. Disappears quickly leaving unhealthy urine sample behind. No lacing. Aroma is quite sweet. Sugary banana, caramel, marzipan and honey. Light sourish notes. Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is heavy sweet balanced only by very light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and cloying. Smells very good but the flavor is way too sweet for my taste buds.
75 cl-flaska köpt av vän i Frankrike. Mörkt gyllengul, krämigt vitt skum. Fruktig och lite blommig och tvålig doft som mest drar åt äppeltvål. Frisk, fruktig och blommig, ganska torr. Bra kropp med rustika sädsmaker som matchar den annars lite eteriska frukt-och blommighet. Åpple, päron åt det tvåliga men inte kvalmiga hållet. Annorlunda men trevlig Bier de Garde.

Chez Jacky avec côte de boeuf. Blonde, col de mousse moyen à tenue moyenne et carbo forte. Arôme fruité très sympa. En bouche, douce et fruitée : pomme, fruits jaunes. Bien ! Mais j’ai préféré L’Ambrée plus puissante et légèrement torréfiée.
Medium white head. Clear still coppery body. Fruity toffee aroma with floral notes. Sweetish floral earthy caramelly taste with strawy vanilla fudge notes. Reminiscent of some Lithuanian beers. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish earthy caramelly straw aftertaste with vanilla fudge and toffee notes. Unusual. A little sweet and slack, but still interesting. The alcohol is slightly peppery. No hop perceived nor fruitiness. APPEARANCE: golden color and clear. medium-large off-ehite head, creamy, with medium-low retention. some lace formation. TASTE: predominant malty sweet flavor with notes of bread and a slight touch of honey-like malt. low bitterness with a semi-dry to dry finish, with a bready character. PALATE: medium-low body with a very faint texture. faint alcohol warmth. no other palate sensations. excessive carbonation. OVERALL: a nice biere the garde, with a predominant bready and alcohol aroma, with a sweet component. the sample was overcarbonated (gusher).

Bue en bouteille de 75cl à la maison, couleur blonde, peu de mousse et effervescence moyenne, un nez qui tranche sur des notes acides et de fleurs assez étrange. En bouche énorme attaque sur le caramel et le malt grillé, fin de bouche frais sur une pointe anis. Sympa.

Si tratta di una biere de garde, una ale bionda dal buon contenuto alcolico prodotta dalla noto La Choulette in Francia. Arancio carico piuttosto torbido e con lievito sospeso, ha una schiuma fine poco persistente. L’aroma è semplice, malto, leggera frutta, un tocco di luppolo. Molto gradevole al palato, con una bella freschezza di spezie, un sapore principalmente maltoso ma contenuto e ben equilibrato dalle note più amare del lievito. Consistenza piena, corposa grazie alcool ben in evidenza. Molto soddisfacente.

Bottle @ home. Giallo ambrato, leggermente velata, con schiuma bianca fine poco persistente. Aroma di media intensità, ma piuttosto complesso: erba di campo appena tagliata, speziato (pepe) , cantina, fruttato agrumato,scorza di limone. Gusto più lineare, tendente al fruttato agrumato, leggermente maltato, con finale breve, secco. Acidula. Più corposa di quanto ci si aspetterebbe, molto carbonata, spigolosa. Non molto armonica, il profumo apre porte che il gusto schiude.
