Corpo medio e morbido e bassa carbonazione.
4.0 Pieknyaromat słodki i beczkowy smaku b dobre.

3.9 Lukter svisker, rosiner, portvin og brent karamell. Tåkete mahognifarget med beige skum. Fyldig. Maltig, fruktig. Tydelig alkohol, cognac, rosin, brent malt, trevirke og brent karamell. Lang.
4.0 Bottle. Color: Copper, yellow-ish beige head. Aroma: Sweetish fudge, fruity Cognac. Taste: Sweetish, almost sirupy sweet fruity grapes, Cognac, notes of wood., some caramel, raisins en light hints of nuts. Boozy. Tannins. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Over medium sweet (in a good, fruity way), moderate bitterness, going to above moderate at finish. Full body, below average carbonation. Nice complexity, long lasting finish.
3.8 Bottle shared, darker orange almost amber beer, small head. Aroma is malt, cognac, wood, fruit, caramel, sweet. Taste is the same, sweet bitter, woody finish, long dry bitter aftertaste. Very nice
3.9 FB deleted my post “unable to publish” and has changed the interface... ugh. That super pickle beer was from La Debauche which I tried in Paris and was called Summer Oddity years ago. Coincidentally, Dig the Line now import them! I picked up one that looked good and I thought was BA but reading the label may only be wood aged. La Debauche Cognac Barrel 9.5% Reddish brown with a wispy tan head - it looks pretty. The aroma has some boozy heat but also yummy molasses, biscuit, caramel and oak. Medium bodied and very smooth with bitter treacle, oak, hints of cognac, pepper, biscuit - this is a smooth beer that’s hitting the spot on a rainy day though the heat says it’ll age well... if I get out by Shinpuhkan I may try to snag another bottle.
4.0 Bottle. Unclear brownish amber body with a moderate sized beige head. Nice aroma of malt, dry fruit, candy sugar and distinct warming alcohol like vinous/Cognac. Taste is sweet dark malt, some caramel, dry fruit, wood, vinous and warming alcohol/Cognac. Fine body and long lasting, smooth, rich aftertaste. Nice sipper.
3.0 Nice cognac flavor but the aftertaste is a bit bitter. The yeast eases the bitterness
3.1 Bottle 33 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque orangey brown with a small, beige head. Nose has some caramel, wood and pretty intense Cognac. Rich body that may seem initially sweet with - again - hints of caramel, but soon the massive wood and booze takes over adding an almost astringent character whacking the balance of the beer. It's rough, and a Cognac beer shouldn't be. 070120
3.5 Sample@Ølfestival København 2019. A dark brown coloured beer with a small brown head. Aroma and flavour of caramel, malt, oak, vanilla, fruit and with a roasted finish.
3.4 Aroma of malt, dried fruits, caramel, and hints of chocolate, vanilla and nuts. Brown with a red tint, almost no head. Medium + sweet and medium + bitter. Medium to full body with average to soft carbonation. Dry and bitter finish. Overall a nice Barley Wine. Well balanced flavour.
3.2 Flaska hopt. Disig bärnstensfärgad vätska. Doft av farinsocker, malt och sockerkaka. Smått tam smak. Sirap, kavring och knäck.
4.2 33 cl fles. Helder donker amber van kleur, fijne romige licht bruine schuimkraag. De geur is karamel en rozijnen. Smaak is zoet, cognac, karamel en pruimen. Medium body, veel koolzuur.
4.2 KØ19. Clear dark amber colour. Good tan head. The flavour is caramelly and vinous. Hint of vanilla. Warming alcohol finish. 848418
3.2 330ml bottle. Sweet, sticky caramely malty and syrupy with some stingy earthiness and toffee. Sweet and sticky.
3.4 From tap. Pours dark brown with a small brown head. Aroma is roasted. Sweet. Caramelish. Fruity. Toasted malty. Dry and roasted. Sweet and toasted malty.
3.7 Dark amber to brown, small head. Aroma and taste: caramel, pie, dried fruit, light booze. Medium sweet. Warming. Low bitterness.
3.5 Red amber, golden head. Medium full, fruity, nice booze, wood, a bit cake, fruity enjoyable finish. Good balance.
3.7 Tap. Deep amber color with fine-bubbled white head. Aroma is raisins, just a touch grapes, wood sugar, very fresh. Taste is woody, caramel, raisins, well-balanced. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Very balanced Barleywine, almost too balanced.
