3.0Bottle 750ml @ home
Pours hazy reddish brown with a huge off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, apple fruitiness, yeast and hint of alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long slightly warm, caramel, yeasty, fruity and somewhat astringent grainy finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is lively.

3.7Big bottle at home. Red-brown with a creamy white head. Rich aroma of roast malt, fruit and hop. Sweet start with a hit of bitterness. Fruity and sappy with a caramel, nutty edge. Rich with an almost sticky mouthfeel. Dry finish. Tasty, well-made beer.

Smak: ganska lätt, lite karamell, lite choklad, kryddig men ändå fräsch, lite belgojäst.
3.3Pours a short white to beige head with some roasted malts aromas and candy hints. Dark amber colored body. Bitter in mouth with notes of slightly overroasted malts.
3.9Winter beer with a flamboyant colour. Rich texture, very malty. Some hints of liquorice and verbena that bring a lot of freshness. This beer has a good aging potential and will be even more enjoyable a few months after Christmas time
750ml bottle. Hazy dark amber coloured with a massive white head of rocky foam. It has a red fruit, chocolate and spiced flavour with a smooth creamy vanilla, oak, candi sugar and spicy finish. Very good.

3.675 cl bottle, shared. Dark amber colour with a fluffy, lightly tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, toasted notes, yeasts, fruits and spices. Taste is light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes rather dry with yeasts, fruits and herbal earthy hops. Nice Christmas beer. The dryness help cutting trough the rich Christmas food.
3.6Rocky beige head stayed well on a very active dark brown, opaque body.
Vinous aroma, woody - almost like Barley Wine.
Very airy in the mouth. Medium to thin body. Dry on the aft.
Malty on the front with caramel, sugar, raisin & syrup. This changes on the back to a fruity, almost sour taste with red berries, earthy & slightly bitter.
Having wrote all that, it definitely a "Christmassy" taste about it but maybe I can’t describe it properly!!
Unusual, Excellent, Try It!
3.5Deep red with big tan head. Toffee, licorice, chocolate and red berries. Sweet and spicy finish. Great!
3.5Coffee, dry woody, grassy, fruity, berrylike.

3.40.75 L bottle from Vinmonopolet’s BU. Pours a bit murky brown to red, with a frothy to bubbly, slightly tan head. Sugar, wort, malt, some fruit and herbs and ester flavour. Sweet and a bit bitter ending. Medium body and carbonation. Good.
3.6Bottle, december 18th 2015. Dark brown body with a small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, banana, toffee and dark fruit. Taste is toasted malt, quite sweet with fruits and yeast, spicy hops. Sweet caramel and fruit finish.
2.7Pours a dark colour that light breaks through the edges. I’ll start from the end, because the after-taste is like red wine. The taste is about varnish and overripe fruits.
3.7From the 750 ml. bottle. Reddish-brown pour with a modest, short lasting tan head. Big Belgian sweet caramel and candied sugar aroma with a sort of oily note on the nose. The body is medium to full. The taste is highly sweet with a notable bitterness to finish. But the sweetness is what sticks with me
3.5Tap @ Tuulensuu. Pours clear dark copper, beige head. Caramel, fruits, candy sugar in the aroma. Caramel, sweet, spices, licorice, dark fruits.
3.2Tap at Oluttupa Viisi Penniä, Helsinki. Colour is clear light orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Dry fruits, chocolate, spices, nuts, some sweetness and malts.

3.5*Old rating, best before Jan 11. The beer has nice herbal aroma, is highly drinkable but grainy. Fresh and round, a bit too alcoholic. Interesting.
