Acheté à la SAQ de St-Hyacinthe. Celle-ci est blonde et assez opaque. Elle produit une faible mousse blanche assez persistante. Les odeurs qui s’en dégage me font beaucoup pensé à la Heineken. Au goût, c’est légèrement fruité et très amer en finale. Pas extrêmement complexe et pas difficile à boire mais je m’attendais à plus.

Slightly hazy pale golden body with an average, frothy, white head, mostly lasting with some nice lacing.
Moderate hoppy (citrus, flowers), light malty (grains) and light yeasty (sweat) aroma with notes of fruits and honey.
Moderate sweet, light bitter and light acidic flavour; long lasting finish where the bitter character becomes more evident.
Light-to-medium body with watery texture; average carbonation.
750ml bottle. Slightly hazy golden with a thick frothy white head. Flavors are hay, spices, pear, citrus and cheese with herbal and floral notes. Medium body, good carbonation, creamy texture.
Golden and hazy. Frothy, compact head.
Hoppy, citric smell. Bitter taste with a hint of apricot. Almost no carbonation.
Rulles Estivales is perfect for hot summer days. With 5.2%, it does more than honorably even if we can not expect an exceptional presence in the mouth.
PINT Tasting. Poors almost clear yellow, big lacing foam head. Bit carbonated this one. Rest OK. (Arnhem 201907)
Tap at Foeders. Bit hazy light golden with white head. Grassy and fruity hops, spicy hops, soft pils malts and bread with a touch of green leaves. Over light sweet and solid medium bitter. Medium bodied. Nice!
Backlog, draft in 2010 or 11. Pretty sure this was at Monk's cafe. Pours a cloudy golden with medium to falloff white head. Nose and flavor of herbs farm, funky hop, lemons, clove, and other yeast. Some pepper and lime notes as it warms. Lighter to medium bodied with active carb. Can drink the glass, but expected a bit more.
Bottle. Pours pale gold, not completely clear, nice white frothy head. Malty bready noble hop aroma. Bitter noble hops, citrus hops, dry bitterness, malty grains and a nice mineral character to the water. Awesome Belgian ale. True to the description it's made for summer and hugely refreshing. Wish this was more readily available as an everyday beer. Really great!
Hay-straw with fruity notes of tropical fruits with a bit of green banana. Frothy white head light sweetness with a little bit of bitterness.
From the 75cl bottle. Gold with a white, frothy head that lingers. Aroma is grassy, dusty, just a hint of bubblegum. The pils malt is noticeable and the overall feel is pilsener meets belgian ale. Taste is moderately bitter with notes of peppercorn and clove. Medium body, balanced carbonation. Subtle tones if you look for them. Good.
On tap at Sovereign, pours a murky orange with some frothy white head. Orange nose, yeasty, doughy. Flavor is grainy, doughy, yeast, orange. Finishes creamy. 7 4 8 4 14

De Rulles aura mis encore tout son savoir-faire dans cette Rulles Estivales qui est parfaite pour les chaudes journées d'été. Avec 5,2 %, celle-ci s'en sort plus qu’honorablement même si on ne peut pas attendre une présence en bouche exceptionnelle avec ce titrage (un 7 % permettrait de soutenir tout de même mieux les arômes). Difficile en tout cas de faire réellement mieux avec ce titrage alcoolique. De robe blond doré (EBC de 10), notre bière est surmontée d'une fine mousse blanche. Le nez est plaisant à la fois floral, sur le fruit (agrumes, pêche) et agrémenté de camomille et d'une pointe herbacée. L'amertume y est fine et élégante. La dégustation démarre par cette fraîche amertume alliée à des arômes floraux, de pêche, d'agrumes, de miel. L'attaque manque cependant un peu d'intensité. La deuxième bouche est dans la même ligne avec une arrière bouche sur une amertume, florale, plus marquée. L'amertume est d'ailleurs d'autant plus marquée que le sucre est peu présent. Le trio Warrior, Amarillo et Cascade fonctionne très en bien en tout cas. Le final montre à la fois une petite acidité et une amertume que je trouve légèrement agressive mais racée avec des épices qui se font ressentir en complément des arômes floraux et fruités. Une belle bière fruitée et rafraîchissante.

Gekocht in de Delhaize van Dendermonde op 19-03-2018. En thuis geproefd op 21-07-2018. La Rulles Estivale is een wazig geel-blond biertje dat bij het uitschenken veel wit schuim produceert in een rotsachtige structuur die wat lijkt op stevige slagroom. Het blijft sterk aan het glas kleven en blijft ook redelijk stabiel, na een tijdje heb je nog steeds die rotsige structuur maar het laagje is wel gekrompen tot een vijftal millimeters. Weinig CO2 verzadiging te zien met belletjes van een gemiddelde grootte. Het aroma van La Rulles Estivale is honing zoet, gistbitter, citrus en graanmout met ook een lichte bloemige tint, af en toe valt zelfs een zeer lichte zurige toets op. Waarschijnlijk omdat dit bier in open tanks vergist wordt. De smaak is wat zoet en vooral het hop-bittere valt op, ook de honing, de citrus en ditmaal nog wat passievrucht en perzik zijn aanwezig. In de mond geeft La Rulles Estivale een volle body, is hij wat bitterdroog met een stoffige textuur en een medium prikkelend koolzuurgas. Dit alles maakt het een harmonieus biertje niettegenstaande het bittere toch niet juist te wrang wordt. De nasmaak vloeit lang uit, is bitter en lichtjes droog, met nog wat hopbitterheid en citrus. Een leuk biertje dat juist niet te bitter wordt in de afdronk maar hierdoor zeer goed past bij een maaltijd. Bottle. Color: Clear golden, stable white head. Aroma: Fresh hop, fruity, hints of yeast. Taste: Very smooth, malt, citrus hop, grassy, subtle bretty yeast notes, hints of caramel, banana, peach, grapefruit and brown sugar. Medium body, average carbonation. Long lasting bitter fruity finish. Very nice complexity for a relatively low alcohol beer.
75cl bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, July 18, brought by me. Pours misty deep gold, frothy pure white head. Sweet yeast on the nose, crisp bright moderately sweet saison character. Deliciously balanced, the Orval yeast bringing good clarity and life to the Amarillo hoping. Another great saison from Rulles.
Spina @ Petrarca, LO. Colore giallo paglierino, schiuma bianca, grana media. Al naso floreale, erba e pane. In bocca ha un corpo medio, buona carbonazione. Apre dolce (pane) e chiude con un amaro molto erbaceo. Amaro piuttosto persistente, sempre erbaceo. Estremamente facile da bere.

Clear ochre with a lasting, foamy, white head; some lacing. Aroma of yeast, mandarin & orange, pineapple, bready malt, citrus, honey, herbs, 'garden flowers & plants'. It tastes light to medium fruity & malty sweet and light to medium hoppy bitter, hints of bread & yeast. Dry, hoppy, spicy finish. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Elegant and balanced; at only 5.2% this is very good.
75cl bottle from Geers. Best before: 2/2020. Lots of yeast in the aroma, unbaked bread, apple peel, pepper, hay. Sweetish low estery profile in the taste, banana, apple; spicy pepper, bitter hay, sourish wheat in the back. Grassy hoppy finish, spices, dried fruit & straw.
Obfita, drobna piana, średnio trwała. Barwa złota, opalizująca. Aromat raczej delikatny, troszkę brzoskwiń, grejpfruta, słodu pilzneńskiego, ziół, siana... Smak półwytrawny, dominują estry w postaci świeżych moreli, brzoskwiń, do tego delikatny cytrus, i biszkoptowa podstawa słodowa. W kontrze dość wysoka, lekko szorstka, trawiasta goryczka. Średnie wysycenie, rześkie i pijalne w odbiorze.

Pours blonde and lightly hazy with a good head and nice lacing on the glass.
The aroma is malty with some dead leaf pile type notes, but also it has a bit of bright and herbal happiness to it. Really pleasantly hop forward throughout.
The flavor is a wonderful balance of fruity yeast driven eatery flavors & earthy bitterness, quite bright and hoppy with a mild husky maltiness as well.

Oh yes, this is anything but InBev. This piece steps out of the Belgian ale uniformity and gives some more back. In here it's the hoppy character which surprised me in a good way most of all. Well balanced, very refreshing. Well done folks, well done.
Piana drobniutka obfita i trwała ślicznie zdobi szkło. Kolor jasne złoto klarowny. Aromat lagerowy czysty z klasycznym trawiastym chmieleniem, przyjemny. Smak przypomina perfekcyjnego lagera z niewielką domieszką belgi owoce i cytrusy, oraz wyraźna ziołową (niemiecką) goryczką. Piwo jak na ALE zaskakuje swoją czystością wręcz niesamowitą pijalnością pozycja obowiązkowa dla wszystkich miłośników po prostu dobrego piwa bez wynalazków. Ma moje klasyczne WOW

Butelka 750 ml, duża butla z wklęsłym dnem. Mocna rzecz. Barwa ciemnosłomkowa, piana bielutka, drobnopęcherzykowa, długo się utrzymuje aż do końca. Wysycenie średnie do dużego. W smaku głównie szampańskie, trochę owocowe, jest ziołowa goryczka. Aromat estrowy, drożdżowy, łąka, siano. Przywołuje mi na myśl biere de garde. Wzór Belgian ale'a, mocne 8/10.
