3.4Palma de Mallorca. 33 cl bottle. Dark gold.Coriander, wheat, salt water aroma. Medium sweet . Refreshing
3.2A golden beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has fruitness of banana and grain. Aroma has grain, fruitness, some hay. Semi-dry. Medium bodied. Interesting and good beer.
3.7From the bottle. Pours relatively dark amber. Bit of head. Straight away I smell the sea. Upon tasting it reminds me of Alemanias Gose, and Insel Brauerei's Seeferd. Has a little more mouth feel than them. But less depth in flavours. It is a refreshing beer leaning on the hints of seaweed and salt in its middle.
3.1Pours murky dark orange from the bottle. Aroma is slightly floral, aloe vera, sea water. Taste is mildly bittersweet with light salty undertones. Body is medium, carbonation is mild. Pleasant enough in moderate doses.
3.133cl Bottle at Allou Yiallou, Kini, Syros. Murky golden orange colour, off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, red apples, coriander seed, wheat, light malty. Flavour follows, soft and sweet but backed with a hint of spiciness. Light bodied. Not bad, not sure why I need to find this in Greece though.
2.9Bottled. Thx Peter
Hazy golden. White head.
Light, cereal and earthlink aroma and flavour.
Light bitterness.
Rather bland.
2.9Butelka 330ml kupiona w Aberystwyth. Złoty kolor. Piana biała, niska,o drobnych pęcherzach, zanika szybko. Ziarniste posmaki że słodką, słodową podbudowa, biszkopty, skórki chlebowe. Oleiste ,soli morskiej nie wykryto.
2.6Flaske . Uklar gylden farge.
3.1Pours a hazy gold, thin white head. Floral notes and flavour, with a little toffee, smooth, ok.
3.0Not sure where the saltiness comes in because I certainly didn't pick it up. Golden ale which is a little sweet if anything. It's okay, but nothing remarkable
3.1330ml bottle. Cloudy golden with a small white head. Mild salty aroma, flavour is gentle fruit and a little salt. Refreshing but pretty unremarkable
Clever marketing of a nondescript product.
3.4Bottle. Pours a hazy bright orange with a fading bubbly off white head. Aroma is of orange, citrus, grassy, salty. Taste is of orange, citrus, biscuit, salty finish. Light oily mouthfeel, soft to medium carbonation.
0.8Botella 33cl, color dorado turbio.
3.4More than i expected. It Is kind of light blonde ale, malty, floral and touch fruity (strawberry?) notes.
2.8Bottle from a colleague and drunk at home. Hazy amber colour lasting cream head. Some toffee on aroma some hop on the end. Some salt maybe but not obvious. Some light citrus bitterness on the finish. Touch of rubber maybe. Its not great.
Exzellenter Marketing Coup.
3.1330ml bottle from the shop, drunk at home. Pours thickly cloudy with a long-lasting foamy head, heavy lacing and a fizzy bead. Dirty golden yellow in colour. Aroma of yeast, wheat, banana and metal with a slight floral fruitiness. Smooth and creamy on the palate with typical hefeweissen flavours mixed in with metallic elements and a strong yeastiness, some metal/saltiness especially on the finish. High carbonation and quite a bit of sweetness. Overall, unusual, but drinkable despite the seawater gimmick.
2.7A small taste from a bottle @ home. Pours hazy golden with a medium head. Aroma is slightly funky malts. Flavor is tart and funky malts with some salt. Decent.
2.9Bottle@medina, Aberystwyth. Hazy golden beer with medium head. Aroma is salt, lemon and malts. Taste is sea water, lemon and malts. Interesting.
2.4Botella. Hazy yellow. Sweet herbal strange aroma, yeasty. Sweet yeasty flavour, herbal, some malt, sweet, bit unpleasant. Sea water brew just isn't good. But nice try.
3.9Nice continuous foam. This blonde ale is brewed on sea water from the Mediterranean Sea in Catalonia, Spain. This ale offers fresh aroma of cereals and also has a mineral flavor which may well be a residual salt of sea water. It is not decidedly salted in the taste, it tastes more sulfur, black pepper and juniper berries. The hops bitterness is tender and no significant hops have been used in this ale. However, the hops are dosed in the right amount to set a fine edge for its malting so that the mineral impressions enter the character. Carbonation is perfect and contributes to long aftertaste. I'm pretty sure it will be absolutely perfect for seafood and fish.
2.833cl bottle at Beer Shooter, Cartagena, Spain. Pours hazy, somehow dense, slightly pale gold with white medium irregular foam. Aroma is regular cereal, plus, when warmer, some minerality. Body is average with appropriate carbonation. Taste is not too sweet, with moderate bitterness, and again some harder mineral feeling left in the mouth. Finish is not interesting.
3.1Strong carbonation. Initial light sweetness with a strong astringent finish. There is an unusual suggestion of the ocean in a good way. It isn't salty, despite what the label might make you fear. This would pair very well with extremely fresh seafood. I give this a little extra credit for it coming from Spain, because this is not a nation of great beers, generally. This is actually one of the best beers I have ever had from that part of the world.
2.30.33 l bottle from Alko Arkadia Helsinki. Appearance is dark golden, cloudy and huge head. Aroma has lots of yeast. Taste is mellow, malty, and sweet. Quite easy to drink, but not salty.
2.7330ml bottle. Gusher. Pours hazy orange, fizzy white head. Aroma is citrussy, flowery, malty, bit tart. Taste is citrussy, refreshing with sour toutch, mildly hoppy. Saltiness in finish. Medium bodied, overcarbonated. Taste is good, but massive overcarbonation ruins it for me, BB is next year.
3.2Well it is certainly salty but not in a bad way. Sweet salt perhaps? Yes probably a golden ale underneath this flavour and in reality quite a modest beer. Still interesting enough the salt drives a fantastic plank of tangy fruit right through the palate.
