3.2Bottle at home. Pours brown color, lightly beige head. Aroma of caramel, malt, sugary with some yeast notes. Taste is medium sweet, lightly bitter, caramel, malt, sugar, yeasty, spicy, raisins.
3.5Bottle: Hazy, ruby-amber coloured, some floaties visible, stable off-White foamy layer; dried red berries, caramel and delicate traces of Wood and vanilla in the seet dark-malty nose; moderate sweet and mildly bitter flavour, medium bodied, not very soft; lingering vinous-fruity and caramelly finish with a slight bitterness in the aftertaste. Good, good...
3.8Keg at Cafe rose red. Pours clear brown, nose is malty toffee, oak, taste is dry, woody, smoke, vanilla.
3.6Shared with Tbone, thanks Timo ! Dark hazy amber color with small frothyy off-white head. Fruity nose. Aroma has sweet ripe fruits and a bit of yeast. Flavour is fruity (dried figs, plum?) and licorice. Alcohol is noticeable despite low%. nicely balanced, pleasant brew.
4.3What a beautiful beer. A jubilee La Trappe beer being brewed for you, is the biggest honor a man can get. The beer is very appealing. The beer forms a large 1 centimeter white frothy head, which collapses to leave a thin creamy layer of slightly of white foam. The beer has a beautiful ruby red color, very beautiful when the sun is behind the glas and illuminates the contents. The smell is good. There is a sweet aroma, which gives a nice fruitiness. There is also a spicy coriander aroma. The smell is both sweet and herbal, which gives a perfect balance. There is a slight hint of metal. The mouth sensation is nice. However, the carbonation might have been a little more. The palate could have been a little more exiting. The taste is nice. The beer has the familiar La Trappe taste, which makes this my favorite brand. The beer has a nice almondy caramel light brown taste. This sweet tastes are balanced by a hoppy bitternes. The sweet and bitter flavors are balanced out perfectly. The beer also has a little refreshing sour aroma. Really, really nice. Unfortunately, the beer is seasonal and not available permanently. The batch has a sell by date of august 2015, so I guess getting hold on a bottle by now is very hard. Luckily I have another one in store...
3.1750ml bottle, from Dutch’s. A recent arrival. Looks slightly low fill. Had to use my teeth to open the thing (I remember having to that while tasting through the oak-aged quads..). Pours a hazy red, slight brown color. Just a little ring of off-white head. Dark fruit up front, toastiness, caramel, mild nuttiness. Nice richness to it. Some orchard fruit. Lighter, kind of crisp but somewhat abrupt carbonation initially. Smooths out after sitting, though. Lightly slick. Medium-plus body. Moderate-plus bitter taste, light sweet, kind of more dry finish. Nice to enjoy with my sandwich, but on it’s own, it’s a bit spicy, kind of rough, with an abrupt finish. Pleasant aroma, but not much to it, very brief. Almost feels like a watered-down version of a nicer, bigger beer.
3.40,75 l bottle from bier.de. Clear, reddish amber with a medium large, creamy, slowly diminishing, tan head. Fruity-malty aroma of raisins, prunes, dates, caramel and nuts, maybe minimal hints of cardboard. Sweetish-malty taste of caramel, nuts, honey and sugar with subtle hints of raisins and dates, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter and minimally alcoholic finish with a bit of licorice. Medium to full body, creamy and smooth mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Solid ale with typical trappist creaminess. Quite sweet, sadly the fruity notes of the aroma can hardly be found in the taste. Still, I like it and it is a nice tick!
3.575 cl. bottle, shared. Hazy, dark amber colour with golden hues. Lightly tanned, thin head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, fruits, candid sugar, earthy and floral hops. Toasted and liqourice notes. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with caramel malts, fruits and yeasty notes. Nice Belgian.

2.9Shared 750ml to snifters. Candi sugar and yeast. Thin and lower carbonation. Belgian. Yup.
3.7Pours a dark amber body with a medium head. Sweet and sugary aroma. Nice and well balanced taste, could have been a bit richer though.
Poco carbonata, corpo medio-leggero.
3.6Dark red amber. Short-lived beige head.
Caramel, butterscotch, orange peel, chocolate, biscuit.
Soft and creamy, low on CO2. Fast-paced, well balanced.
Strange after-taste with hints of wheat flour, mushrooms and malt.
Nice, but definitely not the best from La Trappe.
3.6Pours caramel with a large frothy off white head that quickly settles. Aromas of caramel, figs, raisins, brown sugar, honey, rye bread, citrus. Taste is caramel, figs, raisins, honey, ryed bread, brown sugar, citrus, plum. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation.
3.2Amber with small white head. Malty aroma. Refreshing dry taste with mild remaining bitterness, some sourness and remarkable coffee and stout notes.
3.4March 20, 2015 - bottle shared by Jake poured into my La Trappe glass. Brownish orange pour with some head. Aroma was strong on yeast with malt, fruit and some alcohol. Taste was consistent with aroma and was a bit dry and bitter in the finish.
3.0Little bit hazy brown/amber with small layer for a head. Bread, malt, and something familiar but inexplicable smell. Honey comes to mind but that ain’t it. Malty and again bread for taste and still that flavor I can’t describe. Very thin mouthfeel, way to thin for my likings along with the acceptable amount of bubbles. Would’ve given it a higher rating but the body killed it. Just fine!
3.4bottle, amber orange pour, medium bodied. very sweet flavor, candied orange peel, fruity yeastiness. Not my thing
3.6750 ml bottle equipped with a rubbery ’cork’ that was exceptionally hard to remove. Served in a Belgian snifter.
Appearance - red-brown color, lightly hazy; fairly durable tan head; spotty lacing.
Aroma - Spiced bread, Belgian yeast and an abundance of dark fruit. Jubilaris has a solidified aroma with plenty of complexity. In addition to such usual features as raisins and brown spices, these are hints of red grape juice and white pepper.
Flavor: Mainly brown bread and dark fruits with some complex spiciness. Hints of chocolate, raisns, dried plums and grape juice. The finish is a touch more bitter than expected.
M - Crisp carbonation; medium-light body seems too thin; dry finish.
O - As a special Jubilaris brew from a world class Trappist brewery, this ale is a little disappointing in regard to feel and flavor. But at only 6% ABV this is still an outstanding "big" Belgian brown.
3.0On sale at Holiday Wine Cellar for half off. Pours amber with a decent white head. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, minerals. Decent enough taste, slightly metallic, just run of the mill Belgian ale, pretty mediocre.
3.3Bottle a amber colored beer with a white head aroma malts spicy some caramel some fruits and hops flavor malts spicy fruits citrus and hops
2.7Aroma: Light peppery, syrup. medium bready, toasty.
Appearance: Hazy, amber/light brown body. Small, light brown head.
Flavour: Light, fruity, bready.
Mouthfeel: Light body, medium-light carbonation.
Overall: Very bland. Still, easy drinking.
750 ml bottle, poured. Thanks Andre!

3.1Shared with benny at his home. Hazy amber colored beer with medium diminishing off-white head and medium carbonation. Malty spiced aroma. Full sparkling palate. Finish is malty bitter soft.
3.3Tasting blind from a 75cl bottle.
A sweet, caramel aroma with alcohol.
The unclear red-brown beer has a medium brown head.
Caramel in the taste. No outspoken taste.
Medium carbonated.
2.8Bottle. Pours clear amber with a small, creamy white film head. Aroma has sweet malts, caramel, esters, light coriander. Medium carbonation, kinda thin and somewhat dry mouthfeel. Flavour has caramel, esters, rather sweet. Mild esters. Rather boring.
3.4Hazy amber colour, off-white head. Typical La Trappe fruity yeast and sweet malt combination, high carbonation. Soft mouthfeel nonetheless, good body. Nothing really special.
