3.0Botella 330ml Color dorada, opaca, espuma blanca, fina, mediana, poca retencion. Aroma citrico, frutal, frutas secas, especias.
3.0Aroma: Fruity berries and yeast. Flavour: Fruity sweet with sour notes and light bitterness. Aftertaste is fruity sweet and lightly sour. Colour: Amber with a white head. From: Bottle @ AGoodCase webshop.
Earlier Rating: 1/25/2012 Total Score: 3
A very refreshing beer with a nice bitterness and not to fruity or flowery in flavour. Light golden in color with a white head.
3.0Bottle tasted.
Pours hazy straw with a hogh foamy white head.
Spices with some florals and grapefruit
Grainy, black pepper with other spices some light grapefruits and bananas.
Light body with medium carbonation. Effervescent finishes dry with some peppery and grapefruit aftertaste.
Super piwo.
4.0I have picked up this bottle at Amstein, St-Légier. Trying this nectar, at Bonfol, yesterday, before the dinner. The rating here is not so high but for me it was find, a tasty pils/white ipa beer, so refreshing, despite a cold wave arriving and a windy weather. The body is yellow and grey, a bit troubled, sparkling carbonation, white foam. A nice pils or white ipa, dry malt and a right note of floral hop, perfectly citrus and aromatic, grapefruit.
3.6Clear yellow, tall white head. Citrus pepper and banana. Good hoppy long aftertaste. A little sweet.
3.433 cl, bottle conditioned, BB June 2021. Quite clear, straw colour, thick white head, nice lacing/head retention, low medium carbonation, some powdery sediments. Aroma is fruity and yeasty, nice malty backbone. Medium mouthfeel, nice carbonation. Flavours are fruits, yeast and sweet caramel at the end. Very nice, sessionable Belgian Golden ale.
3.4Trappistebier trifft Pils - ziemlich hopfig der Abt. Lang anhaltende Bitternoten, aber sehr angenehm. Spannende Komposition.
3.3Pours slightly hazy with small white head. Malts with hop bitterness, some citrus notes. Medium body and average carbonation.
3.4Aroma of fruits, citrus, grass, and some spices and yeast. Hazy golden with a white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body with average carbonstion. Slightly dry and bitter finish. Overall a very nice, refreshing Belgian Golden Ale.
3.2Clear light-golden pour with white head, retaining decently. Aroma is malty, spicy-yeasty and soft fruity. Taste is mild sweet and mild bitter, with a long finish; but also bit watery. Strong carbo. Decent blond, but pity of the watery sense.
3.0Klar lys gylden med hvitt skum. Aroma og smak malt korn sitrus. Frisk og fruktig øl med lett bitterhet
3.1Nov 2020. Bottle from Beer52. Clean, refreshing, delicate flavours, a Saison feel about the whole thing. I do like this. [3.2]
Aug 2020. 330ml brown bottle, unfiltered, from a bargain BeerHawk box. Nice beer. A blonde Belgian. Good active yeast, with sugar to help the bottle fermentation. A tad more hops than normal for a Belgian beer. Some hot fermentation flavours that are close to those you get in wheat beers. Not outstanding but quite pleasant. Fairly fragrant. A little wishy washy, and a little too hop bitter for me taste. I'd rather have a regular Belgian blonde, but it's OK. That marriage of yeast and malt goes a long way for me. [3.0]
Dec 2012. 330ml brown bottle from beer shop in Marseille. A pale yellow beer with a light perfume and a dry palate. Quite light bodied with an oily texture. The pale malt is restrained, with the main flavours coming from the yeast and the hops, so the impression is of soft spice and flowery hops. Quite delicate and attractive. The malt is a little too restrained for my taste, and the flavours are a little too perfumed, but it’s a decent, drinking beer. [3.0]
3.2Golden yellow pour with a little swirl of haze and a soapy white head. Grassy, straw, floral, pilsner malty, yeasty, hints of honey, dog-in-the-rain for aroma's. Softly sweet and quite bitter in the end with a bit of a watered down feel to it. Halfway medium bodied with medium bubbles. Dryish finish. Not bad, great beer for a lovely spring day I reckon.
2.7On tap. Hellgelbes klares Bier, heller flacher Schaum. Getreideduft. Riecht nach nassem Strohballen. Im Geschmack Gras, Getreide, rohe Erbsen. Im Abgang leicht bitter. Ok
3.7Beer 52. OK, quite light & lemony. Fizzy
2.3Ei oikein mitään.
4.3Light and hoppy
3.3Bottle from Beer 52.
Hmm, initial aroma is definitely some sort of meaty paste ! Quickly gives way to hops, yeast and banana though. Pours a hazy lemon yellow with a very large but transient frothy white head. Taste is hops chiefly, with a good amount of lemon, and spices plus hints of pear and banana. Flowery and fruity finish. A nice drink but a bit too lemony for my liking.
4.0Pours crystal clear gold with a large head.
Nose shows super grassy, herbal, earthy and spicy hops, Belgian yeast, spicy phenols and a bit of a doughy/bready notes.
Flavours include more spicy and grassy hops, doughy and bready malt, pear notes and a reasonable bitterness.
Carbonation seems excessive.
3.3Clear yellow colored beer, with a good white head. Aroma of grains and a floral smell of the hops.
Taste is malty, floral, lemon and some spicy tastes from the yeast.
3.5Clear yellow color with foamy white head. Aroma of malts, grains, yeast and hint of flowers. Taste has the same elements: Malty, grainy, hint of flower. Finishes with hops. Medium body, average carbonation. Refreshing, easy to drink beer
3.0Bottle. Gold with a dense white head. Aroma of lemon lollies, light dough, spices. Light bodied, fizzy. Dry with crackers and lemon lollies, moderate spicy bitterness. The hops are OK but there's a lack of presence and character in the middle - either would do. All front, but it's refreshing.
3.7Little crispy hoppiness with malty sweetness. Fruity, round and light bodied. Nicely balanced.
