3.4 Ambrato carico buona schiuma piuttosto persistente note maltate buon corpo caramello buon amaro agrumato leggero erbaceo riscaldante
3.3 Nice english style IPA. I love how they get to balance the malty and hoppy in this beer. Nice floreal bouquet aroma, well balanced bitter and malty taste.
2.9 Oranjegoud met zeer kleine lichtbeige schuimkraag. Aroma van citrus, deeg, malt. Smaak behoorlijk bitter, zeker in de nasmaak. Melig in de mond. Mwah...
3.9 Dark amber color. Nice hop rich smell. Head is kind poor, but other than that it leaves a nice lace. Beautiful pour. Really solid beer from a small brewery that I have never had a bad beer from.
3.6 300 yen from Nagano Trading, 7%. A nice amber color with a beige head. A nice hop bouquet of citrus & grapefruit. A hint of a caramel base overlain with a clean bitterness. Somewhat astringent but nice. An interesting balance between malt & hop.
3.4 Nice amber reddish unfiltered color seems a little flat... Nice hops to malt balance .. very drinkable beer
3.2 355 mL bottle. Quite dark for an IPA. Smells British, not American. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Flavour is muddled and a little watery. Malt in there, touch or fruit, some earthy hops. Bitterness in the finish. A little disappointing, after seeing the rating.
2.6 Bottle. Bright orange with a decently bodied head. The acidic, citrus-blossom aroma wafts quite a distance. At first blush, this is aiming for that big west coast pop. But I instead get bit of green leafy vegetable instead of grapefruit. And the finish is rife with sour mash. (#4912, 1/15/2013)
2.9 Bottle. Nose of coffee, tobacco, caramel, earth, a bit of cabbage. Rich amber with a low head. Bitter, minerally, and tart, with some vegetables. Astringent, weird, and not so nice. Something strange.
3.2 Bottle. Gift from Neko-chan. Big malty nose, some peach, some hop. Copper. Sweet malt initial; light hops and mineral notes make for a slightly hard mid; final has mild bitterness that fades pretty quickly. Thin (a bit watery). Some unusual flavors. An okay IPA. But not really as good as most.
2.9 Amber,small beige head,small bead.Piney,soapy hop nose and palate.Lasting medium hop finish.Ok, but something isn’t quite right.Good lace
3.4 Med amber color. Sharp, almost acidic, moderate hoppiness decent. Very sessionalble.
3.1 Nose faint mainly burnt toffee and a hint of citrus. Good looking beer with lovely lacing. Reminds me of an esb with a moderate pnw hop influence. Burnt toffee, caramel and some toasted sesame.
3.8 Thin head and razor like mouth feel upon pour with thin lacing. Full bodied amber, Mild bitter flavor.
3.5 Father in law stocked fridge with this nicely knowing I enjoy craft brew. Pours amber with citrus and floral nose. Tastes of grapefruit, caramel, malt, earth, and light bitter and sweetness. Decent
3.1 355ml bottle from wegmans in niagara falls. red, tan head. under hopped, overly malt, english/american hybrid ipa. dissapointing.
2.4 12oz bottle. Very dark amber with a creamy biege head. Somewhat astringent hops with a strong malt presence, bit musty, dark fruit, low carbonation, moderate but somewhat offensive taste.
3.3 Drank on tap (16 oz) at the brewpub on September 19, 2012. Dry hopped aroma of grapefruit, very fragrant. Dry hop flavor, notes of pine, very bitter. Simple but nice and very bitter!
3.1 Pours amber tinged mahogany into a Sam glass. Tan head with excellent retention recedes leaving sheet lacing to crater surface. Toasted caramel and resin aromas. Thin with sour citrus and stale toasted caramel front to back.
0.8 Shitty. Plain and simple. Smells gross, at least it tastes a little better than it smells
3.3 12 ounce thanks to Matt. Very dark amber color for IPA. Slight musty hoppy taste. Bit of bitterness. Toffee and caramel.
4.1 on tap at brewpub. clear bright medium dark golden with a very nice light beige head, excellent retention and lacing. crisp malts, light toastiness, tons of fruity esters, some tropical notes, along with citrus explosion. average carbonation, some fizz, medium body - oily, nicely balanced grapefruiy finish, touch of alcohol. a very good brew!
3.6 Just how I like my Ipa - grapefruit hops in the nosr and on the tongue, sweet, but not cloying, amply strong without feeling weighty. Lacks a bit in the head department, though that may be a function of the sampler glass and the time I’ve taken to drink the others. Still, I like big, long lasting head. I also like this beer.
3.4 Pretty amber color, good head. Floral and citrus smells, malt and hops as well. Medium body. Crisp taste of hops and grass, w/ moderate bitterness.
2.9 Really dark for an IPA. Don't think it is the correct color for this style. Aroma of a musty basement. Certainly not my favorite IPA, but I would not turn it down if offered.
3.1 Poured from a bottle. Amber with thick and sticky tan foam. Smells a little earthy. Taste is slightly fruity, somewhat hoppy and malty. Not my favorite IPA but don’t mind it.
3.2 Bottle. Good-size head, lots of lacing. Peach seemed to dominate on the palate. Drinkable? Yes, I could take a session of this. But I didn’t find it a great IPA.
2.5 Bottle in hotel room, Ithaca. Dark red orange appearance with a small, tan head. Toasty, a touch bitterly nutty, earthy hoppy aroma. Caramelized malty, tangy, earthy hoppy flavor with a bitter finish.
3.6 Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 02/23/2012. Pours a deep amber-orange color with a medium creamy off-white head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of piney hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, citrus and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Above average overall.
3.1 Bottle; cloudy orange with medium beige head; aroma-caramel, peach, floral, sweet; taste-light sweetness, medium bitterness, medium body, oily feel, average carbonation, bitter finish. Average IPA
