3.6 Bottle. It poured a dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma was of chocolate, vanilla and malts. The taste was similar to the aroma with more chocolate, vanilla, malts, caramel with medium carbonation and a nice chewy aftertaste. Nice.
3.5 5oz taster sample at Pinthouse Pizza, Austin, Texas. Very dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate, caramel, sweet syrup. Taste of milk chocolate, sweet syrup, dark fruits, roasted malts. Quite sweet. Silky mouthfeel. ABV well hidden. Pretty good but perhaps less tempting than I thought she would be.
4.1 Sweet and malty with chocolate overtones. This is the best milk stout I’ve had. Possibly because it’s the first imperial version I’ve come across. I’m very pleasantly surprised. Good mouthfeel. Zero alcohol burn, which is impressive in a 9.1ABV brew. Nice dark brown head, but quicker to dissipate than I expected. Overall a great beer for the style.
4.1 Excellent stout on tap. Sweet and malty. Made an excellent beer for desert.
3.7 On tap at the DFW Flying Saucer. Pours black, with a small, tan head. The aroma is heavy roast, walnuts, maple syrup, and brown sugar. Sweet and sugary, with a nice, mellow, sharp bitterness. Heavy body, with a syrupy, crisp mouthfeel. Pretty quality.

3.2 Keg at Ginger Man, Plano. Black, rich creamy head. Chocolaty nose with vanilla and caramel. Very sweet with full body and rounded, sticky mouthfeel. Cream and milk chocolate with caramel and treacle. Warming finish. A very sweet and voluptious, Texan size, temptress.
4.0 12 oz. bottle served in a shaker- poured a 7500 mile motor oil before it was finally changed (and it’s regular oil, not synthetic), solid black when held to a light source. Thin tan ring about the vessel for a head but did lace to some degree. Aroma of a roasted malt, molasses, and all the good things in life. Hits the with a wide body, malt was nicely roasted to the point of it almost being burnt- but that’s just skill or luck right there, lactose quality in the middle (to be expected), finish is creamy and sticky. good beer!
3.9 Tasted at Midland On Tap from a 12oz. bottle. It was served a inky black body and yielded no head to speak of. I smelled molasses and tasted dark toast, dark chocolate and a sweet finish, a fruity brown sugar. Carries through with a slight bitterness. Best I had today.
