3.6 Can. Pours hazy orange with a large, rocky white head, long retention with light lacing. Heavy resin, pine, and orange hops, moderate hop bitterness, light floral alcohol, medium bread malt, and a dry finish. Medium-full body and medium carbonation.
3.5 Colore ambrato chiaro, schiuma bianca abbondante persistente. Alta carbonazione.
3.3 Draft. A hazy yellowish beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of hops, straw, and fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, straw, and fruit, leading to a bitter finish.
2.7 Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 22A). Can 33 cl - Batch QR036/18-A (BBF 05/02/2019). AROMA: medium caramelized malt, followed by low hops notes (slight tropical fruit) with a slight oxidized character (low isovaleric, plastic). APPEARANCE: gold color and translucent. excessive off-white head, rocky, with good retention and lace formation. TASTE: initial medium-low hop notes (resin, pine) followed by a slightly sweet malt background with oxidative notes (slightly caramelized). medium-high bitterness in balance with malt. finishes dry and bitter. PALATE: medium body with excessive carbonation. slight alcohol warmth. OVERALL: altough this Double IPA is 2 months past best before date, it is still drinkable. its even better than many double IPAs within its best before date… Demands retasting.
2.5 From tap at Stone Brewing Tap Room - Prenzlauer Berg with ES 02.04.19. Pale golden. White head and lacing. Aroma and taste of toothpaste, menthol and herbs. Not my cup of tea.
3.7 13-FEB-2019, can @appartment in Piazza del Poppolo, Rome, from Eataly. Hazy golden with a lasting, lacing, white head. Aroma is fruity hops, mostly grape fruit. Taste is grape fruit, and pine. Some late petrol notes. Malty. Average body, a little oily, bitter, sweet. Long bitter finish. Alcoholic and a little rough.
3.8 13-02-19 // can at Stone Brewing Tap Room Prenzlauer Berg - Berlin. Intense and full bodied West Coast DIPA. Malty backbone with a strong bitterness and a slight hop fruity aroma. Very well balanced.
3.1 Aroma of bitter piney hop, citrus and malt. Taste of bitter piney hop, caramel, citrus, malt and grapefruit. Nice bitter dipa.
3.4 Pours slightly hazy golden, topped with a medium sized frothy head, white and not so stable. Gentler fruity aroma with milder tropical notes, some pine notes in the back, later on some sharp feel. Moderate herbal bitterness with minimal sweet fruity character. Lasting aftertaste. Nicely hidden alcohol. Nice, hoppy bittery stuff.
3.8 Pours golden with white head. Resiny piney floral hop aroma and flavor; dank. Notes: can from the Stone tap room, Berlin Nov ‘18
4.1 Pijalne, wysoka goryczka, super aromat, świetna podwójna IPA, w sam raz do wypicia po ciężkiej podróży z Tangeru
3.4 330ml in a good looking bottle design. Bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A two-finger thick, snow-white head remaining over a misty late straw coloured body. Crocheted lacing on the glass. Ripe fruity aromas with mid-sweet malts and moments of alcohol. Blended taste of apricot, pine, and almond, noticeable, but mostly integrated alcohol. Bittersweet finish. Fine bodied. Decent drink on a Saturday eve. (Tromsø 01.09.2018).
3.4 Boks fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Drukket på Lillehøgda. Gylden. Nesten klar. Lavt skum som samler seg langs glasset. Ferskenaroma. maken søt frukt. Mango. Plommer. Tørr avslutning.
3.5 Can from Italy, Lingotto, Torino. Works hard to be an American IPA, and does not too badly at all. Lots of pine and fizz. Doesn't have the resinous punch or depth that it might, but its a really solid effort.
3.6 Draught. Mild malty aroma. Cloudy golden. Good stable creamy white head. The flavour is very malty, has a little vanilla. Quite peppery. OK balanced.
3.7 Draft at wildeman. Aroma of bitter piney hop, citrus and malt. Taste of bitter piney hop, caramel, citrus, malt and grapefruit. Nice bitter dipa.
No nevadí.. Imperiální ipy mám radši, než ty klasické. Jsou spíše desertní než konzumní. Toto pivo mělo v sobě silnější alkoholovost, rubínovou barvu, silný říz i perlivost, plné tělo a jemnou krémovou pěnu. Spokojenost :))
3.3 W zapachu owoce tropikalne, ananas k skorka cytryny oraz miód gryczany. W smaku więcej kandyzowanych owoców, miodu. Na finishu nadal słodko z dość dużą goryczką i zestem. Solidne
3.6 Bottled. Pours hazy golden with a one finger white compact head. Only malts to the nose, strong honey aroma. Taste is rather sweet, some citrusy bitterness come through in the end. Full body with a medium carbonation. Not that fresh but I still like it so.
3.3 33cl Bottle @ LaBIRRAtorium, Madrid, Spain Hazy amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma is hops, pine, citrus, herbs. Taste is hops, grapefruit, resin, bitter, slightly malty. Medium body, average carbonation.
2.7 Cerveza IPA muy normal, de color ambar con amargor seco sin ningún matiz reseñable.
3.8 From bottle at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Light hazy golden color with white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, grass, pine, floral. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma with caramel notes. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
3.6 On keg at bir & fud, Roma. Pours hazy light amber. Nose of lychee, candied pineapple, peaches, moss, resin. Taste is slightly foosty tropical fruit, some biscuits, foosty bitterness.
4.1 Bernsteinbier mit weißem Schaum. Sehr starkes Zitrusaroma, leichtes Karamell Malz. Mittlerer Körper Geschmack. Papaya, Grapefruit, leicht trocken und bitter Gut!
2.9 Tap at Bevog Festival 2017. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Oranges, grapefruit, malts, grass, zesty. Hop burn with sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body with average carbonation. Too much hop burn to be pleasant.
3.5 Draft. Golden clear body with white head. Aroma is fruity citrus malts. Taste is malts some herbs. Aftertaste is nice bitter.
