3.0 Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Appearance: The body has a deep reddish amber color with a small light tan head. The head is quick to fade out and makes no lacing at all. Smell: It has a very mild cherry and berry like sweetness coming though a light white bready maltiness. Overall it reminds me of a store bought almond ring coffee cake. Taste / Palate: The flavor has a light thin feel with a balance of mild fruit and wheat. It seems somewhat dry and slightly tart. This finishes with some very light hop bitterness.
2.3 A little undrinkable. Like strawberry pop. Maybe good for your girlfriend if she doesn’t like beer. On tap at DC Beer Festival.
3.0 This is an ok beer that just quite doesn't seem to match expectations on either end. It's neither fruity enough for fruity beer lovers nor hoppy or malty for the regular crowd. Has clean crisp taste with a nice finish of strawberry. Long sips won't even get you the strawberry, it's that subtle I feel. A clean beer for a summer day.
2.8 On draft. Amber color. Smells like strawberry ice cream. Tastes like watery strawberries. It is alright.
3.0 Pours amber with a white head. Aroma is strawberry and wheat. Taste is sweet with some faint bitters. Light bodied with a lingering aftertaste. Ok.
2.9 Bottle. Pours medium amber with a small soapy head. Aromas of caramel, fruit, and some bread. Flavor is full of artificial strawberry, wheat twang, bread, and some caramel. Easy drinking and just ok.
1.9 Orange-amber body, thin off-white head, minimal lacing. Grainy with strawberry candy notes. Light bodied, thin, watery, abrasive, artificial finish.
1.6 Fake tasting malt beverage. Poor appearance - reddish color with no head. Flavor is weak and chemical.
2.3 11/26/2013. From bottle. Pours amber color with a reddish tint and a short white head. Aromas are mostly caramel with notes of strawberry. Buttery flavors with strawberry jam and not a hint of hops.
3.0 A:Reddish/Amber Hue, Passes Some Light, White Head Ring, Some Lacing S: Mild Wheat, Mild Tart Strawberries T: Mild Wheat, Mild Dank Strawberries M: Decent Carbonation, Light to Medium Bodied, Mild Tart Overall, not even a refreshing light wheat beer, the (faux?) Strawberry they used is almost offensive to the taste buds.
1.1 Holy hell. Instant drain pour. What the hell. Aroma and appearance are decent. Thats it.
2.6 Copper color pour with a white head. Slight aroma of strawberry. Tastes like wet cereal.
3.7 It is a nice clean wheat with just a hint of strawberry. It would be a great dessert beer.
2.0 pours a deep hazy brown with no head. aroma is sweet malt, brown sugar. Taste is sweet, a hint of strawberry, really muddled. not good
2.2 Sampled last summer while in Lancaster. A simple ale that is heavy on wheat and the strawberry flavor is smooth and refreshing.
2.9 Bottle. Light berry and wheat malt aroma. Dark yellow with moderate head. Sweet strawberry and wheat malt flavor. Medium body. Nice fruit beer.
2.9 Bottle. Fruity wheat malt aroma, not quite strawberry - I wonder if the fact that I had just finished picking and cleaning strawberries had anything to do with my perception of the aroma. Slightly hazed copper with a large ivory head. Fruity wheat malt flavor - again, not quite strawberry. Light body, soft carbonation.
2.9 12 Fl. Oz. Bottle from Dover Liquor Depot "Craft Beer Fest." Tasting. Poured a clear golden with a decent white head and nice lacing. Aroma is fruity, yeasty combined with some malts. fruity flavor (strawberry) some grain. A bit plain but not bad at all.
3.0 Very light. Not to much flavor only a hint of strawberry. -Liquid Smiles
2.8 Tap. Pours clear amber with thin, fizzy white head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is heavy strawberry, wheat, light floral hops, and light cereal malt. Flavor is heavy berry fruit esters with some supporting sweet malt and faint floral hops; dry, lightly sweet finish. Medium body and low carbonation.
2.6 Tap. Pours clear strawberry blond with a medium, frothy white head, short retention with good lacing. Aroma is strawberry, wheat malt and light earthy hops. Flavor is malt forward with strawberry notes and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation.
3.2 Honey brown appearance. Smells of pungent fruit with a bit of funk. Nice tasting wheat beer with strawberry definitely noticeable. Good palate.
2.7 Bottle into a goblet. Pour is a haze orange with a fine head. Aroma is that of fruit and light malt. Taste is a clean sweet strawberries and malt, crisp. Finish is a nice summer crisp light beer. Very good in front of a fire in an 85 deg room in winter also.
1.7 Bottle. Tastes like someone steeped a couple strawberries in a Yeungling for about ten minutes. Unimpressive after my first impression from Lancaster (Winter Warmer).
2.6 Nice orange pour with a white head. Aroma is super light strawberries. Not artificial smelling, which is nice. Some light wheat character. Flavor is a bit thin and watery. Some berry notes but again, pretty heavy on the wheat. Nice effort, but not good.
2.7 12oz bottle at Whiskey Bar in Revel. Well this was basically horrible. Smells of bad indescribable rotting fruit in some old dough. Lighter watery body with soft to average carbonation and a slimey finish. Flavor of old rotting strawberry, wet straw, bad toast. meh this sucks
2.2 Murky orange small white head. Aroma of artificial strawberries. taste is very watery, some strawberries, very artificial taste. Refreshing though. Not too good...
