Laško Club

Laško Club

Traditionally brewed with love since 1825.

3.5 Realy good beer. Better than Zlatorog. Golden color, sweat taste, good foam...
2.5 Talán a Blaha Lujza téri montenegrói étterembe ezt csapatják. Bár ne tennék...
2.5 Nič špeciálne, pitné, tretinková fľaška, čapák by asi chutil viac, slovinský mainstream.
3.4 From old tasting notes. Labeled as "Goldhorn Club". Hazy gold color. Rocky white head. Buttery light malt aroma. Tangy butterscotch malt flavor. Light hop flavor in middle is noticeably Saaz-like. Nice character and medium bodied. Lingering hoppy finish and aftertaste.
3.2 Enjoyed: Poured from a bottle into lager glass. Appearance: Clear golden colour, with rich head. Aroma: Good aroma of barley malt. Palate: Medium body; moderate carbonation. Taste: Malt, bread, hint of sourness; medium bitter aftertaste. Overall impression: Pivovarna Laško was one of my favourite breweries which unfortunately changed over the years. This beer is similar to “regular” Zlatorog but tastier and with richer aroma.
2.5 pretty much the same as the lasko zlatorog, clear golden colour with nice white head, slight malty and corn aroma, taste is a litlle more crisp then lasko zlatorog , and a little bit sweeter.
1.6 Kolor jasno-złotawy. Piana jasna szybko znika. Słaby zapach, zielona butelka. Smak wodnisty, minimum słodu i goryczki. Nie czuć kartonu. Taki eurolager.
2.9 Aroma is sweetish malts/bread and a hint of bitterness. The flavor is citrus/fruit, malts and a bitter finish.
3.1 11.2 ounce bottle.Smells sweet. Tastes grainy. Very little head Smooth. A little above average brew.
1.3 Corn. Some grain. Malty. Watery. Light body, high carbonation, abrupt finish. Terrible.
2.1 Bottle. Golden straw color, average white foam. Aroma: a bit spicy hops, light fruits. Taste: malty, a bit watery, mild hop bitterness.
2.9 3. 11. 2016, Ljubljana. Canned, Better and bolder brother of Laško. More present and fuller taste. Light body, fresh aroma.
2.3 A not unpleasant macro lager, some slightly more bitterness on the palate than most macros
2.3 Bottiglia.
1.3 Billiger, metallern herber Antrunk. Plörrig, monoton, kurzer holziger Nachhall. Ungenießbar. 7/4/4/3/8/3
2.7 330ml bottle into lager glass. Sparkling clear golden amber beer with sudsy white head. Steady fine carbonation. Nose is caramel malt and grain bread. Smooth mouthfeel. Finish is like the nose, though more grainy than sweet. Super easy-drinking.
1.5 Pours gold from the can. The big white head is foamy and soapy. Aroma is a sweet malty base with vinegar hints. Body is light, with some intermittent watery notes. Taste is sweet, sour, bitter, grainy, but none of it in a good way. Instead of a finely tuned and complex brew this feels like an ill thoughtout mess and with a dash of balsamico added to it for good measure. Luckily the can only had 33ml.
2.1 from bottle. Clear golden with small white quickly disappearing head. straw in aroma. taste of caramel, malt and honey, sour, bitterness leaves strange aftertaste, higher carbonation, watery. below average
2.8 The beer looks like a normal pilsener. The color of the beer is a rather dark golden yellow. The beer is crystal clear. In top of the beer a nice layer of rough white foam forms. The bulk of the foam collapses quickly, to leave almost nothing. The smell is not bad. There is a nice hoppy herbal kick to it. It had a lovely bitterness and a malty and little fruity sweetness. The taste is nice as well. There is a nice bitterness and a nice sweetnes. There is also quite a nice sour touch of the hips. Great brew.
1.8 13.07.2016. 0,33l Can. Adria Ankaran, Slovenija. Pale yellow colour with white head. Clear. Thin beer. Only aroma is some harsh grainy pale malts. Souish with the same sweerness as an non-alcoholic beer. Notes of green applesat the end. Not good.
1.8 0.33l bottle. Malty aroma. Pale golden colour with small white fading head. Malty taste, chesnuts, sweetness. Watery body and medium carbonatio with little sour finish. Another typical euro-lager.
2.5 Clear pale yellow, some CO2. Small short lasting white foam head. Barley aroma, malty taste. Had better. (Malta 201604)
2.2 Can from a Vínbúdin in Reykjavik. Golden with a thin white head. Mild citrus aroma. The taste is citrus and grain with very light spice. It might be better on a hot day in Slovenia than it was on a cold day in Iceland...
2.8 Pale golden. Malty, grainy, herbal notes in aroma, malty, herbal taste. Low bitter finish. Ok.
2.8 Really fresh and crisp texture. Persistent thin head. Taste is a bit metallic and bitter.
2.3 Drank from the 0.33 bottle. Regular beer with the conventional color for lagers, regular carbonation and some hops in the taste.
2.1 500 ml can. Bought in a Coop in Lausanne. Color is golden with low head, little particles :), Hoppy peach smell, better describe it than to smell it. Bitter taste, taste like Sprite. Ending kind of metallic. Not good.
3.0 0.5l can from a coop in basel. pours a clear golden with a frothy white head and some lacing. aroma of grains, herbs, a hint of flowers and perfume. flavour of grains, honey, bread, butter, grass. surprisingly good -- I did not expect much.
2.3 0.50 l can shared with friends. Clear golden one with a medium sized fluffy white head on it. Aroma ruled by apples escorted by grain, mouthfeel is slick, thin. Rather short, citric finish.
