3.5Sparkling amber, fluffy beige head.Soft malt fore, balanced mid, big long hop bitterness in finish. Great lacing
3.422oz bottle. Pours a reddish copper with light white head. Aroma of caramel malts with citrusy hops. Flavor is dominated by the hops, with a grapefruity flavor. Moderate bitterness. Pretty good, but perhaps just a tad too tart.
3.7On tap at The Met in New West. Quite dark for an IPA. An off-white head. Well hopped, but not over the top, with substantial malts in the background. I quite like it.
3.0Poured from the tap. Hoppy aroma and taste, but lacks the hit and finish of an excellent hoppy beer.
2.0On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma is a bit metallic, with copper, stale malts and little if any hop character. Flavour is very metallic, in the sense of the cask seeming off. Definitely something wrong with this. I’ll revisit this if I get ten opportunity but this is pretty poor.
3.3Bomber. The name of the brewery kind of says it all. Lazy. Lacks any sort of hoppy aroma. Smells like a lager. Nice color. Little to no hop presence. No thanks.
3.5An attractive appearance, but the flavor seemed to sit with leaden deadweight. One of the team felt it was almost sour without the crisp hoppiness that you should expect. An overall quality, but average, beer.
3.4Bomber. Standard India Pale Ale. Bitterness throughout with pine, citrus and caramel flavors. A bit thin on the finish.
3.4650ml bottle pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head which leaves some thin spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is light caramel malt with some earthy and citrus hops. Taste is bitter earthy hops with a bit of citrus and a caramel malty sweet backbone to balance things out. Medium body and light carbonation. Overall, this is a pretty decent IPA.
3.322 oz from malt and vine in redmond wa. poured out amber colored and partially cloudy. light head, this one being a little off white, cream colored. taste is not typical IPA bitter. hoppy, mild citrus and a mild taste of caramel/honey flavor.
3.6Dark amber body, off white head. Loads of dark hops, but not bad ones. Caramel malt, some citrus. Flavour has woody notes, very bitter. Really resiny hop flavour.
3.8Bomber. Coppery amber colored in appearance with a half-inch of foamy white head. Lots of sweet and citrusy caramel malt and herbal hops notes in the aroma that slightly resemble a Barleywine. The taste follows the same formula as the aroma with the addition of some grapefruit and earthy hops bitterness. The body is adequately carbonated with a clean, bitter finish. Nice interplay between the caramel malt and aggressive hops characteristics. Definitely holds its own against other quality Pacific Northwest style IPAs.
3.2On draft from brewery. A nice built ipa. Classic citrus notes. Drinkable and refreshing.
3.8740 ml bottle. From Vancouver, WA, USA. (HHOK7).
Slightly hazy amber colour with small off-white head.
Dark fruity bitter hops and toasted malt in aroma.
Flavour is dark fruity bitter hops and dried fruits. Balanced. Short bitterish aftertaste. Very drinkable IPA.
2.4Pour was a little surprising and on the brown side. Unfortunately I think this one was infected. Getting a lot of buttery aromas and flavors and it is totally overpowering the hop. Only letting a little malt body come through with a bit of caramel sweetness. Hops are totally gone here. Either old or infected so someone please send me another bottle.
3.9Solid IPA. Pretty big pine and citrus going on. Pretty good balance tending more towards the hops. Drinkable and easy to get ’round these parts.
3.6Pours dark amber with a frothy head. The aroma is sweet. The flavor is also sweet with a mild hop bite at the end.
3.5Bottle purchased from Liquid Solutions.
Appearance: Pours a bit brown for an IPA....muddy copper look to it. 1 finger foam head that doesn’t retain much or offer too much lacing.
Smell: Lots of bitter floral hops running rampant throughout a field of caramel malt.
Taste: The malt isn’t too sweet thanks to the very bitter hops. They play off each other well but the hops are a touch raw.
Mouthfeel: Slightly thin and boring.
Drinkability: Mouthfeel is easy, ABV isn’t too high, and flavor is decent but bitter.

3.4Mediocre. Hard to stand up to all the big boys in this area. Definitely a good choice if you’re in a limited selection moment.
3.3Slightly hazy copper/orangeish pour. Off white head and drippy lace. Pine Butterscotch, and caramel on the nose. Body is slightly thin. Citrus, diacetal, pine and caramel . rubbery aftertaste. Lingering bitter finish.
3.4Nice nose with citrus/orange and mild cranberry with some molasses in the end. Taste is about average but missing some of what the aroma promised though it has some walnut and mild maltiness. Appearance is a nice gold and amber. Overall would drink again but not a ringer for me.
2.9Upfront citrus aroma with molasses. Aroma is better than the taste. For a 6.4 there is a fair amount of alcohol taste. Batter as it warms up with a nutty finish.
3.5nice floral / piney aroma. pours a dark copper with a thin but persistent foam. just the right amount of bitterness. doesn’t cover the palate but you get a nice bite of hops.
3.3Great bitterness, but aroma is not very IPA-hoppy. I like it less as I drink more of it.
3.3Blind sample, GLBN IPA Challenge 2010. Up against Port Townshend Hop Diggity IPA, round 1. Darker pour, malts solidly represented, decent hop presnece. Malt backbone overshadows the hops. IMO. lost 0-3
3.622 oz. from PCC Fremont. A little different than the big Simcoe/Amarillo hop IPAs. Decent malty base gives it a sweet aroma and nice caramel finish. Always looked over Lazy Boy in favor of the more exotic-looking beers offered at my local co-op. Will definitely try some more now.
3.7Bottle thanks to riversideAK. Pours a dark orange with a small white head. Aroma of citrus and grassy hops with a light caramel malt backbone. Flavor is full of fresh citrusy hops and a light malt backbone. Very drinkable, very pleasant.
7/4/7/4/15 [3.7/5]
3.4Bottle. Aroma woodsy/piny with some mango and large doses of nougaty, almost roasty malt. Flavor very grapefruit-bitter with some of the pine/wood hanging around toward the end as well as semi-rich nougat malt notes. A bit astringent. Not really my sort of IPA, and seemingly not terribly well executed, though still enjoyable.
3.5From an old rating note: K brought this back for me from a trip to Washington. Bomber. Dark orange pour with a medium white head and a fair bit of lacing. Grapefruit and pine hop taste backed up with a solid malt backbone.
