Lefebvre Floreffe Blonde

A light, golden abbey pale ale, with a complex aroma blending malt, caramel and notes of fruit such as banana or pineapple. The first sip is strong and fresh on the palate. The use of candy sugar gives it long-lasting, soft finish. The liquorice finale and slightly bitter aftertaste make this a well-balanced, accessible beer. Inspired by the know-how of the monks at the Floreffe Abbey, this beer is brewed without filtering to produce a subtle beer with a real personality.

4.0 Amber and clear with a frothy head. Floral, grassy smell with a malty note. Smooth taste with a nice bitter hoppiness and a touch of that candylike taste of Belgian blonde ales. A fine beer.

3.2 Flesje thuis gedronken. Goudgeel helder bier, heftig schuimend tijdens inschenken. Schuim blijft lang staan. Aroma van noten en een beetje zeep-achtig. Smaak is zacht, een beetje banaan en hazelnoot. Notensmaak blijft even hangen.

3.1 Ietwat flets bier, deze Floreffe blond 6,3% uit België. Een zoetje dankzij de glucose en fructosestroop. Maar ruikt friszuur.

2.4 Very stable white, foamy head. Malts and alcohol in the nose. Golden-ruby color. Taste is a little weak, more hoppy than malty. Medium carbonated. Average and not good for its price.

2.9 Bottle 33cl. Clear amber with a nice white head. Malty aroma. Taste is malty, sweet, a bit flat. Rather short finish.

3.1 Aroma: Moutig maar toch licht gekruid aroma. Uitzicht: goudoranje bier met een grote, lichte romige schuimkraag. Smaak: Zoetig met een lichte zeepachtige moutsmaak, licht gekruid. Mondgevoel: Medium body met weinig koolzuur. Caramelachtige afdronk met mooi bloemig eind, grassig bitter.

3.9 Clear golden/amber with a decent white head. Taste is a rich blend of grain, fruit even some caramel, almost no bitterness. Very drinkable.

2.7 Paars clear dark yellow, big lasting lacing foam head. Aroma and taste reminded me not to have another Floreffe. Not bad, but also not good. (Velp 201904)

0.7 Alhoewel ik normaal een fijn blond bier zeker kan waarderen.. viel deze reuze tegen. In het flesje was 0 aan koolzuur te vinden en was de smaak heel zoet en een beetje kruidig. -backlog de BierApp-

Houblon fruité assez basique, note mielleuse et soupçon d’amertume, toujours sur les sucres. Avis : Déception, bière sans complexité, déséquilibrée, impression d’avoir à faire à un produit totalement artificiel et industriel tout au long de la dégustation…

4.0 Part of a tasting box from SAQ in Gatineau, Quebec. Pours a clear golden colour with one finger of white head. Aromas of bread, toffee, and some honey. Taste matches the aroma with a citrusy undertone. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Taste follows with grainy malt and sugar, light yeast spiciness, some astringent notes and light bitterness on the finish. Light to medium body with medium plus carbonation. Decent belgian ale but leans quite a bit towards a strong lager.
