3.7A Toffee and caramel
F same as aroma with sweet liquorice overtones and muted banana esters
Soft on the palette
3.7Barwa ciemnobrązowa, klarowne, pod światło przejrzyste, z niską drobnopęcherzykową pianą. W aromacie przede wszystkim delikatne nuty słodowe, karmelowe, i nieco przyprawowości. W smaku półsłodkie, karmelowo-drożdżowe, nieco fenolowe, przyprawowy finisz. Dość wysoko wysycone, średnia pełnia, dość pijalne i sesyjne.
3.9Excellente brune !
2.7Barva tmave hneda. Pena husta a hezky drzi. Vune karamelova sladova. Chut sladova, karamelova. Telo plnejsi ale ne upatlane. Dojezd dlouhy karamelovy. Celkem chutne tmave pivo.
3.4Piana obfita, drobna, opada powoli. kolor herbaciany, pod światło klarowny rubin. Aromat słody, drożdżowy, ciemne słody. Smak pełny, ciemne słody, lekka palonośc szorstkość, są drożdże, minimalnie w sznyt belgijskich fenoli i estrow. dobre, nic szczegolnego.
3.40.5l can from Paikuse Coop. Aroma is reminiscent of peppery spices, yeast, banana, dark fruits. Taste: prunes, dark chocolate, banana, coffee, dark sugar. Finishes with medium-bitterness accentuated by herbal hops. Less sweet than its blonde cousin which is a plus for me, although the dark Belgian styles are usually not my go to choice for beer.
3.5Decent brown Belgian beer from a mass producer.
Malty, sweet with a medium mouth-feel.
Can't knock it.
3.7Generous beige head. Medium lasting retention. Brow with dark rubi colour under the light. Sweet malts, cloves, caramel, molasses. Long lasting bitter finish. A nice one
3.70,33 l bottle some time ago. Good beer, first in this style, worth to drink anyway
3.9Luscious caramel off white, full 3 finger head over dark brown to opaque pour. The thick head allows a wafting fragrance of fruits and malt mix. Taste of toffee and roast caramel, some chocolate. Not bitter, more toward the sweet side of savory. Lasting (stick a knife in it) head with sticky lacing remains. Well crafted. Subtle tingling on the palate, wet and flavorful finish. This is a keeper.
4.0One of my favorites. I'm partial to brown beers. This tastes heavier than a pilsner. It has a nice tan head and goes down smoothly. It's like a German wheat beer.
3.8Bottle at home, taken for the Lounge in Brussels airport, 1st May 2022. Pours a dark brown. Aroma of molasses, dark sugar, burnt caramel, taste is malty, sweet, burnt brown sugar. Smooth and tasty stuff

Long long time for drink this one but still good.
Good Belgian abbey ale it’s coming with creamy foam, full mouthfeel of tastes such as dark fruit some of malts, some of grains, medium sweet but not bitter so much.
By the way this one is so high carbonate and you feel some of high alcohol when you’re drinking.
Very enjoyable with this one.
2.6De garrafa, 33 cl.
W smaku mało wyraziste, obecna nuta karmelu. Piwo wysoko wysycone, raczej wytrawne, goryczka niska.
3.6Pours a deep, dark mahogany coloration with a large, creamy, lasting head. Smells of bready, caramel malt and estery fruit and spice notes of banana, apple and clove, as well as just a hint of toffee and chocolate. Taste follows the nose, with a good balance of bready, caramel malt and fruity and estery yeast notes of banana apple and clove, as well as hints of chocolate and toffee. Finishes with a medium sweetness and some caramel malt and estery fruit and spice lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
I think it's interesting how this basically tastes exactly like Leffe Blonde with darker malts. The general flavor profile really is incredibly similar here, with the yeast profile being very recognizeable, just with more bready, slightly toasted malts and hints of chocolate. I still like it a lot better than the Blonde though, because those dark malts really make a difference here.
4.7I'm a big fan of Leffe Blonde and I find the Bruin an excellent beer to finish a session with. Lovely enticing aroma and a light chocolate taste but not as heavy as some brown ales.
3.8This is everywhere now but deservedly so. Pours to a clear dark reddish brown with a minimal 1mm head. Lovely rich nose, kandi sugar, caramel, coriander. Just the right amount of sweetness, malt, favour bitterness and spiciness.
3.0aromat goździków, w smaku lekka słodycz w typie owocowym ale delikatnie silny karmel. Niska goryczka.
średniak
3.2Fruity flavors are well blended together. Strong Belgian hopes are present for sure. I was hoping for something with a little bit of a stronger Belgian flavor. Its ok but that is all.
3.111.2oz bottle. Pours mahogany brown with a large beige head. Aroma is leather, dried fruit, caramel, plum, Belgian yeast, clove, and pepper. Taste is caramel, chocolate, earth, plum, spice, some banana, some grainy coffee, and pepper. Moderately bitter finish. Medium body. Fine, active carbonation. Slick-ish mouthfeel.
3.5The beer has a nice, thick, light and slightly beige foam which after a long time it leaves an attractive lacing, and the color is dark ruby. The aroma is dried plum, caramel and light chocolate. The taste of the beer is subdued, it is well-balanced and pleasant, with caramel sweetness, light spicy, banana bread and cloves. The finish is quite sweet, than bitter. Bitterness is medium to low (20 IBU). I rate the drink as quite delightful, smooth with a creamy residue on the tongue and throat broken by carbonation.
4.1Bottle dated 10/09/22. IDK if that is Oct 9 or Sep 10. Never mind …
The aroma is a bit subdued. Spicy. Peppery. Clove. A bit of a banana bread aroma.
The beer is dark from the front, clear ruby with a back-light, with ample small bubbles of carbonation. It is topped with a thick, tan-to-off-white, head with excellent retention. Thick lacing remains on the opposite side of the chalice as I take a sip.
The taste is much richer than the subtle aroma would lead you to expect. Rich and malty. Banana bread, toffee, pepper and clove. Sweet caramel controlled by the spicy, slightly bitter middle and finish, resulting in a finish on the sweet side. While it would be classified by me as a sweet beer, that is overstating. It is nicely balanced and enjoyable.
The mouth feel is smooth with a creamy remainder on the tongue and throat, broken up by the carbonation.
Overall, quite delightful.
3.5Добротное, нейтральное пиво. Без изюминки.
3.5Nalewa się ciemnorubinowe, ładna, gęsta, obfita, jasna, lekko beżowa pina.
W zapachu guma balonowa, banan, trochę wiśnie i suszona śliwka.
4.4Reddish black some head.
Lpvely full malty aroma.
Fruity, rich onset, liquorice, soft aftertaste.
Pillowy mouthfeel.
ABV well handled.
Great beer!
4.20,33l bottle. A clear dark brown beer with red highlights, rich creamy beige head and high carbonation. Strong aroma with notes of caramel, roasted malts and dark fruits. Slightly sweet flavour with notes of roasted matls, caramel, bread and honey. Spicy aftertaste with a soft sweet bitterness.
