Clear amber appearance with a frothy head.
Very hoppy smell and a bittersweet taste with a full body. With that hoppy smell I expected some sort of an IPA, but in the end it has the taste of a smooth blonde. Nice beer.

Butelka 0,75 l. Piana tworzy się obfita i z drobnych pęcherzyków, ale pęka bardzo szybko, chociaż pozostaje do końca dając ładną koronkę. Barwa jest jasnomiedziana, piwo całkowicie klarowne. W aromacie z butelki głównie nuty od słodu i drożdży, po nalaniu czuć dziwny metaliczno ziołowy zapach, metaliczność pochodzi zapewne od chmielu, bo test skórny nic nie wykazał. Po ogrzaniu się ze szkła wyczuwalne stały się bardziej nuty fenolowe, ale nie były zbyt intensywne. W smaku jest głównie słodko, przede wszystkim drożdżowo i delikatnie owocowo. Goryczka jest średnio niska, ma charakter trawiasto-ziołowy i usiłuje dawać kontrę słodyczy, ale jest to próba dość nieudolna. Pełnia jest średnia, a wysycenie dość wysokie. Alkohol wygrzewa gardło, co w połączeniu z wysokim nasyceniem dwutlenkiem węgla daje nieprzyjemne pieczenie w przełyku. Nie jest rewelacyjne.
(Bottle, 0.75 l - BB 23.03.2020, from Tiks, 20190702) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, malts and Belgian style yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, earth, Belgian style yeast, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. An interesting hoppy brew with yeasty notes.
Color ámbar, cristalina. Dos dedos de espuma con buena retención. Aroma y gusto en la misma línea cereal, levadura, caramelo yligeros fenol y pimienta rosa, alcohólica en nariz y al final del trago. Cuerpo acuoso. Cerveza agresiva, donde el alcohol asoma en todo momento, se puede hacer pesada.

Taste - malt, Belgian yeast, caramel, sweetness mixed with weak bitter notes. Generally quite neutral and easy drinking Belgian, but nothing that would wow me. The last time I tasted it - it seemed better.
Clear amber pour with a medium sized white head. Hoppy aroma, caramel, malty, slightly citrusy. Over medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied with equal Co2. Not bad at all.
Niet zo lekker, beetje zoet. Vreemde nasmaak.
Butelka 0,75. Bardzo mocno się pieni przy nalewaniu. Klarowne, miodowe, z bardzo puchatą i obfitą pianą. W aromacie głównie klimaty słodowe, idące przede wszystkim w kierunkach chlebowych. Drożdże, ciasto chlebowe, dalej trochę herbatników. Przy tym wszystkim być może odrobinę suszonych owoców, rodzynki, cz też żurawina. Dobre ciało, bardzo wysokie wysycenie, ale pije się bardzo lekko. Na dłuższą metę trochę brakuje charakteru, ale w sumie wypiłem z przyjemnością. Może pojawia się trochę nut belgijskich, jak gruszka, czy czerwonej jabłko, ale może tylko na siłę się doszukiwałem.

APPEARANCE: deep gold colour and clear. large ivory head with medium-low retention. slight lace formation. TASTE: similar to the aroma with low esters (pears), slight oxidation (carboard) and a medium-low seet malt background. medium bitterness with a dry finish. PALATE: medium-low body with medium-high carbonation. slight alcohol warmth. OVERALL: an average golden strong ale.

Completely a great brew. IN all features it fulfills the Belgian signature and the Leffe portfolio special hints. Great to enjoy with food.
Tasted on 26.12.18. Large head disappearing to thick layer with great lacing. Clear golden colour. Sweet aroma of apricot mixed with spiciness from Belgian yeast. Biscuit maltiness with noticeable hoppy bitterness and quite intensive spiceness.
