At Left Coast Brewing Co. we pride ourselves on being one of the pioneers of Double IPA style craft beer. This hop monster uses Premium American 2– Row and a touch of light crystal malt to create a solid malt foundation. Five different Hop Varieties are used in the Hop Juice. It spends two weeks dry hopping in fermenter contributing to its great hop aroma. Starts out sweet and finishes with the crisp bitterness of a Double IPA. This drinkable blend will have you HOPPING till nights end.
3.1Aromat: mocny i intensywny, przejrzałe owoce tropikalne, nuty karmelowe, cytrusy i lekka ziołowość.
Wygląd: złote, jasnobursztynowe, czyste i przejrzyste, piana mała, biała i zaraz zanika do obwódki.
Smak: półsłodkie, przejrzałe owoce tropikalne, mango, ananas, goryczka niezbyt wysoka, nuty karmelków owocowych, trochę grejpfrutów, ziołowość.
Odczucie: dosyć pełne, alkohol ukryty, wysycenie raczej średnie. Finisz gorzkawy
Całość: ciężkie, niezbyt pijalne, niezbyt gorzkie, lekko męczące, owocowe trzeba przyznać, ale brak tu ciężkości, trochę męczące. Takie sobie, przeciętne piwo. 7/4/5/4/11
3.5Enjoyable. Liked initial full mouth feeling. Nice hops. Doesn't last as long as I'd like. Drops off too fast. But not bad drinking. Buy this if my favorites weren't there.
3.7Clear, copper, medium head, lots of carbonation. Aroma of honey, tropical fruit, candy. More candies in the taste, solid bitter profile, a bit rough and simple, but seems like it has to be like that. Long bitter aftertaste.
3.722 oz bottle pours out a golden color topped with white head. Nose is spicy citrus fruit some tropical notes a little bit of Pine and caramel sweetness. Taste is more of the nice hop combo Citrus Pine tropical notes and a caramel malt end.

3.4I bought 10 bombers/cans at Gerrard’s in Redlands visiting friends and did a tasting. Tropical with slight pine.
2.1Not bitter or anything specific, just a bit off. Maybe triple is just too much. Not too much hops -- that would be for fine. It just doesn't taste that good.
4.2Pours a hazy deep golden/amber with a fairly large head and some lacing. Big spicy citrus aroma. Full mouthfeel with a nice ride of flavors: spicy hops, bright and sour citrus, some alcohol heat, and some bitterness in the finish. My kind of big beer.
3.8Aroma tropical fruits,
Appearance orange, hazy, white foam,
Taste light sweetness, lightly bitter,
Palate medium body,
Overall a nicely balanced ipa that has zero of the 10% alcohol in it. Not a lot of bitterness but it’s still there. I would suggest this beer to a friend.
3.9Poured from a 22 oz bottle into a snifter. Crystal clear beautiful orange color with a medium off-white head. An evolving mix of caramel, pine, citrus and even floral notes make up its aroma. Medium body, soft carbonation and a bit creamy on the palate. Stickiness is forming on my lips. Bitter, but not overly so. Long finish in which the bitter grows, followed by a hint of alcohol sneaking through.
3.7From a 22 oz bottle into a tulip glass. Pours gold with head and lace. Aroma of grains, grassy & floral hops, slight pineapple and peach, citrus zest. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of grains, pale malt, straw hops, citrus zest, minerals, field herbs, grass, must. Overall big, rich, refreshing and tasty.
3.04/30/17. 12oz bottle from ABC. Orange pour with a nice khaki head. Floral aroma, biscuit, some caramel. Sweet floral flavor, caramel, biscuit. Eh.
5.0Only if hop juice was a real thing...luckily enough there is an IPA by the name that is excellent in every way. Pristine, clear gold brick color with a supple head of white foam. Tantalizing aromas and flavors of juicy ruby grapefruit, orange peel, some hints of blackberries and passion fruit. Sweet caramel and cereal grain base cut by the fresh cut pine at the end.
3.6Golden Colour with medium off-white head.Aroma is strong fruity with flavor of pineapples and citrus, good dry bitterness with good flavor of hops and fruits, warming mouthfeels and fresh malty finish.
4.0Bomber bottle from Sprouts. It poured a dark golden color with a nice white head that had great retention. Aroma is floral, citrus - grapefruit and pineapple - and resinous pine. The taste is citrus, some apricots, and caramel. It is medium bodied, bitter but not as bad as I expected at 100 IBUs. Very nice Tripel. Will have to try the DIPA version to see if there is much difference.
3.7Bottle from Boxbeers. Light hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 140417
2.6A bit to much alcohol. It lacks the fruitiness and freshness from the hops.
4.116oz can. Pours clear dark golden in color. Aroma of citrus, floral, pineapple. Flavor of citrus, floral, pineapple. I love hops and this one gives an incredible kick in the tastebuds. Cheers to this wonder!
4.0Can a golden yellow colored beer with a white head aroma malts citrus fruits pineapple grapefruits spicy yeast earthly notes and bitter hops flavor malts citrus pineapple grapefruits fruits tropical fruits spicy some caramel earthly notes and a bitter hoppy aftertaste
4.1Beautiful IIPA, caramel-like and velvetty flavour mixed with a beautiful appearance and smell. Truely a treat!
3.7very smooth, dense hops, dark malty body. lots of character.
hard to stop drinking it, since it was so delicious.
powerful at 10%
4.9One of the top2 beers I have ever had. The other one is Trestles. And I’m not kidding.
3.6Shared from bottle at deanso’s. Courtesy of Mrk. Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, grapefruit, resin, light doughy yeast. Medium body, soft carbonation. Bittersweet finish.
3.533cl bottle shared.
thin white head. Clear golden pour. A lovely DIPA Nice bitterness
3.4Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Clear golden with white head. Grapefruit, lots of sweet malts, honey, lime, cardboard, chicory, some grass, mango. Bit over medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied too.
3.7Bottle at home. Pours golden amber with a small white head. Aroma of floral piney hops, sweet malts, caramel. Taste is over moderate sweet, moderate bitter, sweet malts, caramel. pine, resin, dry finish, piney resiny hoppy bitter aftertaste. Bit on the sweet side, but not bad.
4.0Clearish golden coloured body with a thick, four centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of super fresh hops, grapefruit, pine and earth - super strong with a lot of residual sugars and alcohol noticeable as well. Full-bodied; Strong hop flavours at first that literally taste like a hop juice with all the sugars noticeable. Aftertaste shows more well-rounded flavours with earth, pine, grass, hay and malt with the sugars and the hops. Overall, a very nice and hop/sugar-centric beer with a good finish and complexity at the end, full of alcohol as well. Nice to sample even West of the Left Coast! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Malama Market in Haleiwa, O’ahu, Hawaii on 21-August-2016 for US$7,88 sampled a day later in my hotel room in Waikiki, O’ahu, Hawaii on 22-August-2016.
