3.0 kinda bitter
Hindamiseks teen vaid ticki.
3.5 It pours dark brown with a brown head Head retention is moderate. It has roasted aromas with chocolate notes. There is a very low burnt note in the background. There is also a bit so dark fruit and hint of smoke. There are heavy roasted flavors with a hint of smoke and burnt. There is a low amount of alcohol. It has a moderate feel with high bitterness in the finish. Overall, an abundance or roasted flavors with some burnt elements and a bit of smoke.
4.5 A great Stout. Nice and strong, not too sweet or light. Stout the right way.
4.0 330ml can. Licorice and dark roast coffee aroma. Black in colour with a mid-sized frothy brown head. Rich licorice, dark chocolate, black coffee and treacle flavours. Medium body with a slick texture. Sweet finish with some alcohol warming.
3.8 Black, fluffy tan head..Deep earthy nose.Complex palate is sweet and roasty, with medium bitterness and huge body. Impy stout, not foreign
3.6 #1980 Tap. Very dark brown, minimal tan head. Aroma of raisines, liquer, chocolate, touch of vanilla. Taste is moderately bitter, neutral to lightly sweet. Nuts, chocolate, liquer, cocoa, coconut. Medium to fuller body, soft carbonation. Good stuff.
3.5 Taster at Bravo Brewpub & Kitchen. Dark brown colored. AROMA- strong chocolate, cocoa, a bit spicy. FLAVOR- neutral, lightly bitter, cocoa, dark chocolate, lightly spicy. Medium bodied. Good.
3.9 Deep brown, milky coffee foam, lasting head. Pleasant coffee nose. Medium to full body, dense flavor, silky texture, fine mousse, moderate carbonation and heat, lively mouthfeel, lingering aftertaste. Bitter but well balanced, tangy. Concentrated coffee flavor, expresso, chocolate, molasses, burnt sugar. Quite delicious.
3.6 Aroma is like a Ricola herbal drop. Taste is super bitter, burnt wood, cardamom, anise, coffee, and earth. Mouth is overly thick and bitter. Can
3.8 Slightly over-roasted coffee, toasted nuts and dark chocolate unleashed from the pouring can. Beautiful in my glass. Sweet bitter taste has just a quick glance at sourness, then back to sweet. Very nice and totally drinkable on a cold February night.
3.8 Had from can, poured into pint glass. Pours pitch black with no head. Some lacing on the glass as you drink it down. Drinkable but definitely notice the ABV. Definitely has the molasses notes and smokey finish. Would drink again
3.8 Tap, ADT. Nearly black pour with a medium tan head. Chewy chocolate and coffee flavors with dark roasted malt and wood. Full body. The elevated alcohol isn't noticeable. Long dark, chocolatey, bitter coffee finish. Excellent.
3.7 Tap at BeerTemple. Almost black with dark beige head. Licorice, light coffee, toffee, dry earthy leaves, soft mineral notes, burnt sugar. Over medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied too with initially sweet finish but later some dryness. Solid and true to what it’s supposed to be.
3.8 Tap at beertemple. Black with light tan head. Dark roasted chocolate malts, charcoal, ash, roasted coffee bean. Moderate sweet and nice bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation.
3.7 7 3 8 3 16 Draft at Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Black with a tan head. Aroma of licorice, coffee, caramel and toffee. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

4.0 Tap at BeerTemple, 18th January 18. Pours black with a lovely tan bubbly head. Aroma is coffee, liquorice, cocoa. Taste is smokey, liquorice, chocolate, sweet and then a bitter finish. Great stuff.
3.2 12 oz. can. Scents of licorice and sweet Turkish coffee. Pours deep black with red underlying and a very big proper brown stout head. Sheets of lacing. Tastes dry and sweet with a chalky finish. Low carbonation. A little sweeter than I like but still good.
3.7 Can at lynne and euan's. Pours black, nose is roasted, toffee, coffee, taste is similar, little sweet.
3.6 2/X/17 - 12Fl; Oz. can from a trade, shared @ home - BB: 14/XI/17 (2017-1749) Thanks to Valerie and Neil for the trade! Clear dark purple brown to almost black beer, small irregular beige head, unstable, dissipates quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty sweet, dried fruits, caramel, spicy, some liquorish, lots of dark chocolate. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty roasted, bit sourish, bitter, sweet touch. Aftertaste: spicy, pretty roasted, coffee, some chocolate, very bitter hops, bit sourish, spicy touch.
3.9 12 oz can. Pours black with full tan head. Aromas of roasted malts, creamy licorice, sweet molasses and a hard to place spice. Flavors follow same with richer malts and dark dry coffee. Rich for a foreign stout.
3.8 Only drawback I find with this beer is a bit of sweetness that detracts from it overall. Coffee, dark chocolate, quite bitter on the finish. Oily and viscous body, no carbonation, light creamy tan head. Mild spice profile with cardamom noticable only after reading the label closely. Sweetness lingers in the aftertaste.
4.0 Can. Roasted malt aroma with notes of licorice, molasses and espresso. Pours black with half a finger of mocha brown head that has excellent retention and lacing. Starts with rich roasted malt and molasses flavors with a full body and smooth, roasty mouthfeel. Finishes smooth and dry with licorice and espresso flavors. Pretty nice stout.
2.9 12oz canned 9/22/2017 8.5% ABV 30 IBU poured into sauvin with 2-finger light-brown head that fades to black after a couple minutes. Nose of licorice and dried fruit over smokey malts. Tastes of black licorice, burnt molasses and bitter hops, A medium-light body beer surprisingly bitter for such a low IBU. Buy again? No
3.5 Can. Pours a particularly thick black color with medium head. Roasted malt, coffee, molasses, vanilla, caramel, toffee. Heavy body. Creamy texture. Little chewy. Slight dry chalk. Slight smoke. Pretty good.
