Leikeim Kellerbier

Leikeim Kellerbier

2.7 Aroma; basement, straw, bread, caramel, malts, grain. Look; off white head on clear golden body. Taste; straw, herbs, bread, malts, cellar, grain, and finishes basement-grainy.
3.5 Can at the flat in Varna - picked up at local Billa. Pours hazy orange with a small, foamy white head. Bready, some toasted malts, nips of caramel, sun-kissed grains. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, more dominant bready malt character. Enjoyable.
2.3 Couleur jaune orange. Un peu trouble. Légère sans gout particulier. Plutôt moyenne pour moi.
2.9 0,5 l swing top bottle. Murky flat golden in the glass, two finger foamy white head. Caramel smell.Taste starts also with caramell little bit grassy. Low bitterness. Low hop. Okay.
3.1 Beer with a light, unobtrusive taste. However, I can't say that I feel any specific note of aroma. At the end there is a slightly sour taste
3.2 Bottle found at a small Späti in Karoviertel Hamburg, nice! - straight from the bottle on a hot day - nice malts, toffee, medium sweet but rather bitter. nice balance. refreshing.
3.3 50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 09.09.2020 Aroma has citrus and hayish grain. Flavour has citrus, hayish grain, grassy hops and mild mint notes. Somewhat hoppy and surprisingly strong citrus notes here. Refreshing.
2.3 Light brown with a frothy head. No pronounced smell, but a yeasty note is there. At the first sips a bland taste with some bitterness and acidity, leaving an oily feeling in the mouth. Later a decent malty taste unfolds. Low carbonation.
3.6 Hazy amber with a decent off-white head. Sweet malty aroma and taste, with a very gentle bitterness. Good.
3.8 the aroma is malty and floral with hints of grain, buckwheat, straw, flowers and some herbs... the taste is malty and floral with notes of grain, hay, kvass and some grasses... the aftertaste is dry and bitter...
3.1 Bottle, bb 9/19. Hazy amber with am inch of near white head. 3+ Aroma is bread and weedy with some lemon. A bit fuller tasting than it smelled with some honeyed crust on the bread and a modest grassy bitter bite at the end. Fair enough.
2.2 Wygląd: Jasno złociste, opalizujące. Zamglone trochę jak pszeniczne. Piana duża, oblepiająca szklankę o raczej drobnych pęcherzach. Aromat: "Piwniczne" szambo i stary zmoknięty słód. Nuta starego łodygowego chmielu. Smak: Lekko wytrawne, słodowe i chlebowe. Goryczki brakuje. Oprócz tego rześkie i średnio wysycone. Ogólnie: Zamiast piwnicy czuć szambo. Lepiej smakuje na szczęście niż pachnie.
3.0 Almost murky and golden beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has maltyness, grain, hay, some aromatic notes. Taste has maltyness, hay, mild bitterness. Medum bodied. Pretty good.
2.8 Aroma of malts and light diacetyl. Taste is rather grainy, some malty notes. Low bitterness. Okay.
3.5 500ml can from Metro, drunk at home on a rainy summer day. Pours hazy with a thick frothy head, medium head retention, a thin collar of lacing. No visible rising carbonation. Gold in colour. Aroma of citrus, spring flowers and dusky grain. In the mouth, smoothly fizzy with high carbonation, medium bitterness from the first sip, but settling through the palate, flavours of citrus, cereal, and floral honey, medium texture, low sweetness, no alcohol presence, leading to a medium-length bitter finish. Overall, Keller is the lager equivalent of real ale, and what's not to like about that!
3.2 Fles 50cl thuis. Troebel, muffig, fruitje, maltig, zoetig, droog. (6-2014).
3.4 Pours hazy orange with a small white head, but decent lacing. Mango, apricot, grains, caramel, honey, roses, wood, lemon. Light to medium bitterness, medium sweetness, light sourness. Medium body and carbonation, bittersweet finish. Resembles an IPA in aroma.

3.3 500 ml bottle, served in dimpled mug. Pours dirty-cloudy orange with fluffy medium head. Gras, lemon, a bit grain and yeast, a bit honey. Medium hoppy bitterness. Milky mouthfeel. Medium bodied, soft carbonated. Bitter finish with some hops in the background. Nice Kellerbier.
2.9 Copenhagen 28/5 2017. 50 cl bottle with swing cap from Kvickly. Simple label with the Shield from Brauhaus Leikeim - an Heraldic beauty with lions and brewery equipment. Pours hazy golden yellow with creamy white head. Settles as thin transparent layer of foam with lacing along the side of the glass. Moderate lacing. Aroma is pretty weak . Quite malty. Sweet, corny and with a light sour touch. Light carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is sweetish and malty. Followed by medium sour bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter. Lingering. Not very surprising - but pretty solid.
3.2 Clear golden body, big fluffy white head. Aroma of pils and pale malt, some light honey, light nobles hops. Similar flavours, slightly sweet, light bitter backbone. Medium malty crispy slightly bitter dey finish.
