Aged longer than most American lagers for a smooth, rich flavor and a beautiful deep golden color.

3.2bottled - clear golden/copper color. Aroma of a typical lager. Decent lager flavor.
2.6Bottle, not retired. Looks like pale lager, but certainly more quality here than a cheap pale lager. A better attitude towards pale lager fer sher. Mine says 4.9%. Nearly noticable sweet perfume cream corn aroma. Smooth and on par with any cheap macro - lite er not - as far as drinkability goes. Easy and it goes down easy, nice job LK. Refreshing summer tasks beer? Let me try!
3.5From old tasting notes. Labeled as "Linenkugel’s Limited Lager". Bright amber orange color. Dense bubbly beige head.mtart toasted malt nose. Spicy toasted malt flavor finishes dry and crisp. Long bitter aftertaste.
3.512 oz bottle, thanks Poisoneddwarf- Pours clear old golden with a large white head with decent retention. The aroma is floral, grainy, fairly muted really. The taste is grassy hops, citrus, clean mouthfeel. Not bad.
3.812 oz bottle from the winter variety pack. This one must be out of retirement now. Aroma is floral, cereal grains, grain, generic beer. Pours clear new penny copper with a reducing white head that laces a bit. Taste has a slight hoppy bitterness and a light malt sweetness; crisp, clean and refreshing. Damn, this is pretty good. It reminds me of a craft pilsner like Pivo or something. They better keep it out of retirement. It’s so much better than the majority of their offerings.
3.212 ounce bottle out of explorer sampler pack. Aroma is a little sweet, a little light hopped. Golden in color, and taste mild. Easy drinking beer. easy on palate. Nice beer that would be awesome in the summertime. Glad this came out of retirement!
3.2Beautiful clear deep golden with a bubbly head that dissipates a little fast. Semisweet crackery doughy lager malt aromas. Similar flavor that’s impeccably clean and bright. Light semisweet doughy cracker german malt that’s got a wee hint of german noble hop--just enough to balance. Otherwise a very clean and crisp light lager.
3.0Light and crips. Corn and grass flavors. Mild carbonation and a pretty tame beer. More balanced than many of their others.
4.0I really liked this beer before they retired it. Now, I am sure it would be lower on my list of they bring it back.
3.0Reviewed from notes: pours a clear golden color with light white head. Cereal grain and some light hop notes on the nose; follows onto the palate.
2.4Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Typical lager, clean, not much happening here but refreshing enough.
1.6Tap. Not much to say here. Standard lager grain and musty hay aroma. Taste is more bitter than sweet but neutral.
2.3An average beer at best. Not much flavor an color. Tastes kind of skunky. Wouldn't expect a goo beer out if leinenkugels
3.5This is fastly becoming a popular item. It pours a golden amber color with a wheaty and grassy scent. In it’s taste there are some nice citrus hints mixed with a nice blend of grains that finish with a nice apple spice hint. Not too weak and not too strong either. Something new to try that will be a decent drink.
3.7For the price and considering the style, I think this pretty decent. Pale and yet still somewhat rich. It has a bit too much of a corn sweetness, but the body is heavier than most competition.
2.912oz bottle, labeled Leinenkugel’s Limited Golden Lager, dated May 2011. Pours a crystal clear golden yellow color with a big white head and some lacing. Aroma is malty, bread, corn, a little bit of spicy hops. Medium on the palate with average carbonation. Flavor is sweet, malty, corn, with a light, sweet finish. A decent pale lager, if that’s you’re thing.
2.8(12oz bottle dated May 2011, thanks to Cavie) clear bright gold with fine white bubbles, effervescent. Nose of spices, cracked grain, light sugar, gold raisins. Taste of old grain, sugar, clean, but not enjoyable. Weird carbonation, decent for a lager in general.
3.2Ported from BA.
Appearance:
A light clear orange with no head at all.
Smell:
malty and dry. No real residual aromas, other than possibly some caramel. Falls a little flat here.
Taste:
Dry and malty, beginning, middle, and into the aftertaste. Surprisingly robust actually. Crisp and clean.
Mouthfeel:
Pretty standard carbonation, nothing out of the ordinary. Like I said, very crisp. More body than I had expected, close to the medium range.
Drinkability:
Reasonable. It’s a decent lager in my opinion, and I’d have no trouble drinking several. Not a real taste bud kicker, but pretty pleasant nonetheless.
1.7Bottle via trade. Pours a clear light yellow gold color with a white fizzy head. Aroma is very light and subtle with maybe a slight hint of grains. Not much. Flavor is dry malts, grains and nothing. There’s hardly anything to this.
2.2Bottle from Cavie. Labeled as Limited Golden Lager. Light pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is a little corny and grain. Taste is grain, very plain, and just a little bitterness.
2.0(12oz bottle, courtesy of Fratto) Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Aroma of grass, florals, and citrus. Flavor of grain, grass, honey, and cereal.
3.0This actually wasn’t to bad. It has some adjuct corn, but it wasn’t as bad as BMC. There was actually some toasted malt flavor in there with some grassy, grainy flavor.
2.912oz bottle 6/6/11 Leinenkugels Limited (Binny’s Downers Grove Singles Rack)46° in Lager Glass-Pours a goldenish amber with a sbig white head that dissipates rather quickly. Aroma of grain, corn, and sweet malt. Taste of the same with some more sweetness and a bit of apple coming through. This light bodied brew is pretty well balanced and easy to drink.
2.112 oz. bottle. Pours a clear golden amber color with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet, grainy with hints of corn. The flavor is more sweet grainy, corn, hints of grassy bitterness. Probably better than most macro pale lagers, but that isn’t saying much.
2.3As Leinenkugels Limited. Clear apple cider with a thin creamy off-white head. Aroma is grassy and adjuncted with corn, sweet malt and some toasted malt. Taste of noble hops, sweet malt, apple and grassy hops. Easy drinking and in-line with pale lagers in terms of carbonation and the astringent finish.
2.2Pour is a dark gold with a white head. Aroma is sweet and grainy. Flavor is some dry hay malts and nothing in the way of hops. Slightly more body and heft then a BMC and by slightly I mean very slightly.
2.7Decent aroma but oxidized in flavor, this is decent but would be better if fresher.
2.8Golden color, small head. Lightly hopped, some maltyness, bitterness is sharp. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter
3.0Pours clear and gold with an average to light head. Nice beer lager aroma. Full body. Beer. What more can I say? If you think you will like it, you probably will.
2.5draft - Pours clear deep gold with a small white head. It smells of bready, grainy malt. The flavor is of sweet, grainy malt and some very mild hops. This brew is basically fizzy yellow beer. It’s better than most pale lagers, I’ll give it that, but it’s still unimpressive.
