2.9Tap. Pours brown with orange hues, off-white head. Aroma is malty, bread, citrus. Taste is slightly nutty. Finishes dry.
2.0Freebie from Aunt Linda’s fridge. Aroma: Lean caramel that tends toward bread; butterscotch is moderate and a bit obtrusive. Appearance: Red copper body with a foamy bone head that settles into a skin. Flavor: Lean caramel with metallic touches up front; butterscotch and more bread toward the finish. Palate: Medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation, abrupt finish. Overall: A fairly flawed, rather boring beer. Wouldn’t want to drink this again.
2.1i gave this one time, but it just didn’t do anything for me. tasted like the better/not super offensive macros, really, just looked a little nicer. almost no nose (light malts) and the only flavor past a touch of sweet malt was a rather unpleasant bitterness on the finish. not at all impressed."
2.9Far better than I remembered. Smooth and goes down like water. Downside is that it’s pretty watery.
3.2A decent red/amber lager that sticks to the basic malt profile with slight hops flavor. Crisp and easy drinker. Boring compared to most "craft" brews but better than any plain yellow or watered down international-conglomerate made American Lager.
2.5Tap. Pours brown with orange hues, off-white head. Aroma is very malty, bread, citrus. Taste is dirty, nutty. It is not very good. Stay away.
2.9Pours a dark coppery color topped with a decent tan colored head.
There is a mild malty aroma complemented by some caramel notes.
The taste is mild and malty, slight sweetness with biscuity notes. An unpleasant metallic feel in the aftertaste ruins the great experience.
3.2Pours a nice darker amber color with almost tan head. Caramel malt, pine, and some bitter notes on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a bitter hop note.
3.3Pours a reddish copper with an off-white head. This is a great session, summer beer. A good rendition of a Vienna lager. One of the better Leinie varieties.
2.9bottle. amber with small head. caramel malt and a bit of toast. boring but rather true to style.
2.5Bottle: It’s... sort of red. But more copper. Just some red hints, moderately hazy with a foamy, eggshell head on top. Aroma is faint but has mild notes of crystal & light caramel malt sweetness, faint grain, a little DMS & lightly toasted bread/biscuit. Taste is a little sweet, somewhat malty with some mild toasty biscuit, & slight toffee. Hint of stale hops, light skunk & DMS in the finish with a small, bitter bite. A very "neutral" beer. It’s okay, not much going on... a very tame red lager (a style which is already quite timid sometimes), nothing more & nothing less.
3.1Pours copper / amber with off white head. Sweet caramel and malt on the nose and palate. Crisp and refreshing, a very good lager...
2.9Probably my favorite lager. Like it a lot in the simmer for a thirst quencher. Great after cutting the grass, etc.
2.612 oz bottle shared by in laws. Pours a clear reddish amber color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have mild toasted malt, earthy notes, some metallic character, very mild bitterness, some mild sweetness. This is not very flavorful, much like the Honey Weiss.
2.5Nice amber/copper color; Medium body; Aroma of toasted malt, & some caramel; Flavor of slight roasted malt, caramel, and some nuts; Overall, kinda of bland - just decent for me.
3.8I had this at home. Pours amber red with a off white head. Taste Carmel malt, slightly sweet. I thought this was good. I would drink this again.
3.012 oz. bottle. Pours a medium, well retained, ivory head, with hints of lacing, over a clear medium amber (SRM 12) body.....nose cereal, slight toffee/caramel from the malts, hints of herbs, slight earthiness from the hops......taste slight toasted tones from the malts, mild bitterness from the hops, no esters, hints of sweetness early, finishing dry.....mouth feel light of medium, carbonation makes for a clean slightly acidic finish. This is a rather simple beer, but is nicely balanced, and does meet the important points in the style. BJCP 7/3/14/4/6
2.9Bottle pours an amber brew with a tan top. Scent is caramel. Taste is sweet with a bready finish.
3.0Pour from a 12oz bottle. Reddish orang ebrew with tan head. Aroma of malt, some spice and grass. Taste is sweet malt, a little toast, faint hints of dark fruit, pleasant grassy bitter finish. Nice.
4.2My lawn mowing, honey do list beer of choice. Slightly malty with a mild bitter hoppy spicey aftertaste. Better than your everyday lager. Nice and refreshing super cold on hot day. Try it partially frozen like an ice beer for a unique lager. Rating may be high for some but fits my taste.
3.1This pours a reddish, copper color with a decent fluffy head. The aroma is slightly malty with a slight bit of spices. The taste is fair with a decent malt and spice flavor that you would expect from a red lager. Drinks pretty decent with a likable texture and flavorful finish.
2.5On tap in Sconnie - not very good since this just has bad aftertastes and weird aroma.
3.0A - Pours a clear amber red with a thick off-white cap.
S - Sweet caramel malt, light sour dough bread, subtle yeast.
T - Toasted grain, caramel malt, hints of tangy lemon and cherry, clean grassy hops add slight bitterness. Finishes clean crisp with a bready aftertaste.
M - Light to medium body, stingy carbonation off the top but thins out towards the finish.
This is way better than I expected it to be. Lots of clean flavors and very refreshing. One of the best I’ve had from this brewery.

2.512oz bottle, enjoyed with at a LaRosa’s with a philly calzone. Best by June/03/13. Clear red / orange amber color. Very lively carbonation. Thin off-white head. Little lace. Light toasty malt. Metallic flavor. Lightly spicy hop. Medium body. More smooth carbonation. Light bitter taste, more sweet. OK. Kind of just a slightly macro-tasting red lager. It’s got that light metal taste. Kind of uninspired and not too flavorful overall, though not bad.
2.0A decent red lager, not much to talk about has a brownish red pour and hints of malty hops and some fruit flavor to the finish.
3.0Not to bad for the style, a little on the light side of a red with a shallow mouth feel
3.0A red beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and metal. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and bread, leading to a bitter finish.
2.7From memory. As with the Creamy Dark, nothing really stood out about this beer, but it?s still degrees above a run-of-the-mill American lager.
2.7It pours a cloudy, yet dark brown, and gives a more reddish body. Some light carbonation is seen rising. No lacing is left. The smell has some malts up front with no hops whatsoever. The taste is more combined between the malts and the hops. The palate is light to medium with that same crispness that’s always been there over the years I’ve had this. Overall, this is a decent Vienna Lager that I’m unsure if I would have again, probably depend on what else was served.
3.0Pours a clear amber with a thin off white head. Aroma is slightly wheaty with mild roast and earthiness. Flavor is earthy/bitter with spice and dry leaves...mild tea. Mouthfeel is light/medium with an earthy/bitter dry finish.
