3.7 Bottle at beerfox, riga. Clear copper color, white head. Aroma has fruity notes, stables, berry notes. Taste has fruits, some sour notes, some earthy notes, some hops.
3.9 On tap at hopaholic. Hazy yellow colour small white microfoam. Nose is fruity, lichy, ananas. Taste is also light sourness fruity notes. Sticky bitter aftertaste. Refreshing!
3.8 LCI. Poured from the bottle. Fresh IPA with nice bitterness, lots of citrus and some funk (brett). Not too much brett, just enough to give the beer some oomph. Like it!
3.2 From 33cl bottle. Pours orange gold with limited white foam. Aroma is citrus, but also gives out indications of brettanomyces. Body is tendentially light, with a hint of astringency. Taste is strongly bitter. Finish is relatively long.
3.6 Cruddy, opaque muddy yellow with minimal white head. Strong lemony aroma but backed up with yeast. Rich, thick mouthfeel with a complex flavor; hints of hops, malt, lemon, and yeast. Peppery on the end.
3.9 Pours muddy yellow, cloudy and some particulate matter. Foamy cream colored head. Pine and citrus aromas. A lot of citrus on the front, with a twist to red fruits and spices as it goes on. Complex.
3.6 W aromacie świeży ogórek, owoce, przyprawy. W smaku lekko kwaskowe, przyprawowe z lekką nutką owocową. Piwo ciekawe, lecz nie urywa.
3.4 Bottle. Hazy amber, white head. Tropical fruits mixed with very light funkiness and citrus. Lightly sweet, bitter and dry finish. Ok.
3.7 Bottle. BBE June 2016; Drank Jan 2015 - Hazy Amber Gold in colour. Thin white head. Earthy yeasty and funky; brett. Spicy (quite peppery). Fruity; grapefruit citrus and tropical fruits. High bitterness. Quite dry. Tasty. Interesting beer. Liked this. Good stuff. It’s a bitter earthy yeasty spicy fruity dry Farmhouse IPA. Nice beer! (2016-01-22)
3.4 Sampled from tap at ’Craft Beer Corner’. Sweetish, funky and fruity-grassy aroma of lemon, cat pee, mango, honey and some orange. Slightly bitter, grassy-fruity and quite funky taste of lemon, orange, cat pee, some honey and a bit of sauerkraut, followed by a short, moderately dry-bitter, slightly grassy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!
3.7 Aroma: Medium aroma of malts, caramel, orange, bread, hops, citrus and brettanomyces. Appearance: Turbid/opaque amber/orange beer with slight yeast and with a slight/medium off-white head. Taste/Palate: Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel and orange; ends slightly bitter, dry and sour with bread, hops, citrus and brettanomyces. Overall: This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. More of a Belgian ale than an IPA thanks to that dominating brettanomyces. Great appearance and palate however.
3.2 Rough around the edges but I guess that’s the point. The brett is quite pronounced. A few sour notes in there against a hoppy bitterness tasting of citrus.
3.6 Keg at The Earl Grey Inn, Leek. A slightly hazy pale amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of lemon, orange, some grapefruit, mango, slight Brett, yeast and subtle grassy hops. Taste of lemon, orange, mango, some grapefruit, slight wheat, Brett and subtle spicy, grassy hops. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A dry, slightly funky, citrus and grassy hop bitterness in the finish. A fresh and citrusy IPA with a spicy, yeasty finish. Packs a lot of flavour, just doesn’t last long. Good overall, could be better.
4.1 24/IX/16 - on tap @ Borefts Bier Festival - BB: n/a (2016-1175) Thanks to the Belgian ratebeer crew for sharing today’s beers! Clear dark blond to orange beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice tropical fruit blend, bit sugary, fruity, mango. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus, bitter, fruity, hoppy, resinous, very hoppy. Aftertaste: grassy, very hoppy, lots of grapefruit and citric notes. Well done!
3.8 Honey yellow cloudy. Tropical fruit, delicate yeast to smell. Also peppermint or licorice. Peppery. Medium body. The flavour is fairly bitter. I wish it were fruitier and yeastier. Still good -- rated with beerbasher/winphone
3.8 Draught at Brouwcafé De Molen. Hazy dark orange with a small off-white head. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Nice tarty bitterness. Citrus, barnyard funk, brett, yeast and wheat. Very nice.
3.6 Bue à la pression au Borefts Beer Festival 2016. J’avais d’autres choses à faire que de prendre des notes ;)
3.5 Bottled, 330ml from Ship in a Bottle, Liverpool. Hazy amber to gold with white head. Initially quite a yeasty beer, bready dough with a banana, Belgian type background. The hops than become more dominant, grapefruit, pithy then pineapple type flavours with a resinous hint. Some harshness but it is aimed at that. Good beer.
3.2 Bottle. Golden, cloudy, average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty - lightly wheaty and lightly sweetish aroma, light fruitiness with with light brett and citrus, light - some herbal hoppyness. Body is medium, malty - lightly wheaty and dryish flavor, faint fruitiness with with light brett and citrus, light herbal hoppyness. Finish is average, malty - lightly wheaty and dryish, light brett and citrus, light - someherbal hoppyness. Nice fruity and hoppy aroma, but finish lacks fruitiness/finish is bit flat and soapy.
3.5 Draft @Brouwcafé de Molen. Pours a very hazy, darker golden beer with a big white head on top. Aroma of slight barnyard funk, light peppery notes, big on the orange peel, lemongrass and fruity notes. Flavor is firmly bitter with a slight funky tart touch in the back end. Very high in carbonation, which could result in a slightly more tartness than intended. Still a pleasure to drink, long bittersour aftertaste. Ncie one.
3.8 Bottle from Die Bierothek, Frankfurt. Hazy amber body with big, foamy head. Nose is hops, citrus, grapefruit, spices. Taste is hoppy with spices and oranges and mango flavours. Quite nice. Refreshing. Lemon in the finish. Yeasty.
3.5 Draught. Hazy orange pour with off-white head. Aroma has light malty notes and spicy citrus. Taste is sweet with some crisp notes. Ends quite bitter. Medium carbonation
3.9 A solid favourite when I first started to really care about what I was drinking. There’s a sourness, a bite, a slight hoppy, but a very bretty and pleasantly chalky finish. Didn’t know what all those things were when I drank it, but got a better sense now. Would heartily recommend. When I thought it was running out I made sure I stashed a few - that’s a fair sign I reckon.
3.4 At BBF, hazy deepish orange color with yellow taints, herbal onion aroma with just a malty hint and shrubs coming later, strong. Onion flavor with light malty in the back. A bit unrefined, But that is the point bring farmhouse, so it is really nice.
3.8 Tap at Before 9. Stone fruit, oranges, biscuits, light farmhouse in the nose. Deep cloudy orange with a low head. Rich, succulent fruit flavor, slightly tropical, pineapple, peaches, dry finish. Lightly funky, bretty. Crisp and dry. Very nice.
3.3 A full bodied, moderately bitter IPA. Taste has a bit of sweet (tropical) fruit, citrus and a bit grassy(?). It’s a good beer, but a quite standard IPA.
3.8 Hazy yellow with no head. Aroma is quite funky and lightly acidic. Has a clean fresh taste. Really dry finish.
