Sehr satter Geruch, aber nicht sehr intensiv. Viel Schokolade, Röstaromen, Vanille. Der Geschmack ist dann ein absoluter Hammer: extrem intensiv, viel Schokolade, Röstaromen, Vanille, Tabak. Im Nachgang schmeckt man aber auch deutlich den Alkohol. Das Mundgefühl ist sehr dickflüssig, fast wie Schokosauce.
Can from Brewcraft at home during quarantine and again after. Pitch black pour with tan (maple) head. Aroma is definitely heavy on maple and vanilla, with roasted malt. Taste is big and bitter booze before the maple and vanilla sweetness. Rich palate, mild but just enough carbonation. Very nice. Sweet but balanced.
Svart. Skumring med litt farge. Aroma av kokos & lakris. Smaken kokos & lakris. Lett tørr avslutning.
Аромат крутой, сладкий но в меру, прежде всего карамель и сладкий сироп, совсем немного ванили и ноток шоколада. Цвет темный, пенка кофейная, но не совсем стойкая. Вкус тоже очень сбалансирован и хорош. Сразу сладкие нотки от сиропа и они не умолкают до конца. Также есть ванилька, но ее снова не много, ощущается сливочность и сильная маслянистость, что неожиданно. Послевкусие с крепким характером, но все же сладость от сиропа не утихает а дополняет ее своими нотками от кофе и шоколада с намеками на карамель. В целом отличный стаут.
Deliciosa para después de comer. Dulce desde la apertura de l lata en nariz y en boca muy densa y malteada. Se nota la vainilla y un poco el ahumado. Me ha encantado
Drank on day 9 of our home quarantine, bottle delivered from Brewcraft. Pours an opaque brown-black, the colour of dark soy sauce, with a minimal beige head. Aroma: boozy and just this side of being syrupy and sharp, maple syrup, plum, prunes, dark cherry liquor, nutty, dark chocolate, vanilla. Complex, rich, syrupy, boozy nose - sweet but really nice. Taste: dark roasty malt, butterscotch/toffee, fruity and somewhat sweet, slick and boozy and spiced. Body is very slick, a bit sharp, spiced, sweet, sticky but smooth. Great flavours, maple syrup flavour is sweet but smooth and complemented by rich dark notes.
Aroma is dominated by alcohol and chocolate. Taste is dominated by maple disguising the alcohol percentage and contradicted the aroma.
Sweetness also helps in making the beer lighter.
Dark in colour like black coffee. It’s a great beer to end your night with.

Aroma has sweet cocoa, alcohol and licorice. Flavour has salty toffee, peanuts, licorice and chocolate. Nice dessert-beer, sweetness isn’t luckily at Omnipollo level.
On tap at Bison Crafthouse Hove Actually. Black and tan with a small head, brown sugar and stone fruit aroma. Oily mouthfeel, boozy, warming. Maple to the fore with a whisky kick.
Can - pours black tan head - nose/taste of maple, butterscotch pudding, toasted sweet chocolate malt, vanilla - full bodied
Tap at Lya. Pitch black, light tan head. Huge aroma, walnut and maple. Smooth taste, oily, walnut-maple combo again, simpler than expected, some light acohol in the end too. Nice but not a complete wow.
Can from Alko. Flat pitch black. Maple syrup, sugar, chacoal, coffee, a touch of wood. Char, maple, greasy oil, hints of coffee and vanilla. Smooth, full-bodied and slightly sticky. Alltogether quite nice.
Finally on the vid, but not on air for a long time.
Smell- medium strong, chocolate, vanilla, malt, nice.
Foam- medium-thick, malt, sweetness, chocolate and vanilla notes, alcohol. Head is quite small, dark brown color, not sticky.
Appearance- can with some psychedelics on, very dark brown color, some small carbonation.

Taste- malt, sweetness, chocolate, caramel, alcohol, maple syrup, roast, aftertaste bit roast and faint bitter notes.
Very tasty and quite alcoholic.
Canned 330ml. -from Spicy Days Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brownish head, vanilla, chocolate and maple in the nose. Roasted malt, noticable maple, chocolate and vanilla with notes of wood and alcohol. Dry and rather sweet finish.
A black beer, a head is medium and light brown. Aroma has roastiness, caramel, some liquorice, hint of vanilla. Taste is great, liquorice, salted toffee, quite a lot of sweetness, but not too much, some roastiness of coffee. Full bodied, not much stickyness. Great beer, dessert like feelings with this sweetness, but still balanced. The glass was empty too quickly.
Almost perfect imperial stout. Boozy, warming, loads of syrup.
Can from Alko shared, pours dark brown color. Flavor of sweet roasted maltiness, caramel, salted liquorice, vanilla, alcohol. Sweet and slightly boozy, medium body.
Dejlig sort god eftersmag med hints af engelsk lakrids
Tölkki @ Alko. Kaatuu snifteriin sysimustana ja melko niukalla tummalla vaahdolla. Tuoksussa on todella runsaasti salmiakkia, makeaa puumaista otetta, kastanjaakin, siirappikin tuntuu reilusti. Vanilija ei kovin paljoa tunnu, ehkä makeuden joukossa sitä on hieman. Maku on hyvin makea, vaahterasiirappi tuntuu reilusti, salmiakkisuuttakin on, vanilija kutittelee jälleen taustalla. Nyt soijakastikemaisuutta on mukana, hieman paahdettakin jossain taustalla. Suutuntuma on melko makea, jota alkoholin lämmittävyys taittaa hyvin tehden tästä hyvin täyteläisen. Makea, mutta ei aivan liian makea jälkiruokastout, vaahterasiirappi sopii melko hyvin mukaan.

Nice beige head. Very nice. intensive arome of vanilla, coffee, milk chocolate, maple sirup, almonds, caramel, plums. Maple sirup plays main taste role. Also appears vanilla, nuts, milk chocolate, coffee. Very sweet and very roasty at the same time. Low bitterness, low carbonation, high body. Very tasty, balanced sweet imperial stout.
Puszka 330 ml. Nalewa się gęste, idealnie czarne, niestety z pianą, która znika równie szybko jak na Coca-Coli. W aromacie na pierwszym planie syrop klonowy, ale w niezbyt lubianym przeze mnie wydaniu - mocno idzie w kozieradkę i majeranek, ziołowość. Dalej sporo sosu sojowego, czekolada, czuć, że dodatków nie żałowano (acz wanilia nie specjalnie wyczuwalna). Słodkie, gęste, ulepkowate wręcz. Mocno grzeje w gardle, alkohol w aromacie nie był obecny, ale w smaku już ewidentny. Przez to niestety piwo staje się męczące przy tych 330 ml. Podobne Coconuts lepiej mi smakowało.
Can 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a tiny, light brown head. Nose has distinct, spicy maple notes mixing in with a roast background. Rich and filling body again with the maple being very dominant, but in a pleasant way. Some syrupy sweetness is balanced by solid roast. Doesn't come out as violent in spite of the 12%. 061219

Tap at Beergrek. Very very tasty. Lots of chocolate, cocoa, maple. Full body, focus on soft roast, med-light carbonation. Excellent. Abv hidden well, easy drinking.

330ml can. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of intense maple syrup, liquorice, coffee. Taste is very sweet, sticky maple syrup, liquorice, hints of coffee, vanilla, chocolate, lactose, booze. Full bodied, smooth. Amazing.
33cl blik. Helder donker robijnrood van kleur, fijne romige creme schuimkraag. De geur is rook en chocolade. Smaak is zoet, maple siroop, chocolade en karamel. Vol body, veel koolzuur.
Aromat intensywny, toffi, syrop klonowy, wanilia, mleczna czekolada, delikatnie kawa w tle.
W smaku toffi, karmel, syrop klonowy, w tle bardziej czekolada i kawa, alkohol niewyczuwalny.
Świetne piwo, intensywne, ale nie przegięte, mocno idzie w nuty karmelowe i syropu klonowego, ale też trochę czekolada i wanilia, bardzo złożone. Jest słodko, ale właśnie jest to też nie przesadzone, no i jeszcze ukrycie alkoholu.
