Limburgse Witte

Limburgse Witte

Bottle: Unfiltered

Named after the Belgian province of Limburg, Limburgse Witte is a classic warm fermented Belgian wheat beer. The nice light taste of orange and the spicy touch of coriander makes the beer a perfect thirst-quencher! Turn the bottle when halfway and pour the loose yeast in your glass, that's the perfect Limburgse witte, nice hazy real wheat. Serve it cold!

4.8 Zeer lekker zacht bier ! Niet bitter kruidig van smaak
3.2 Witte original. Smell- weak, wheat, Belgian, yeast, Foam-thin, acidic, wheat, faint citrus, some Belgian yeast. Head is small, white color. Appearance - seemingly beer bottle cap, at least color is matching so assuming so. Hazy-ish yellow color with sediment inside. From - snifter Taste - wheaty, weak acidic tones, faint citrus, Belgian yeast. Decent.
4.2 Very refreshing beer. Is very true to style of Belgian wheat beer with hint of orange peel and coriander just puts it over the top.
4.3 Possibly the most refreshing beer I've ever had. Blows away any of the 'belgian-style' wheat beers. A hint of coriander and citrus. A bit creamy. Very easy drinking. Smooth mouth feel.
3.2 Aroma has yeasty notes and coriander. Poured pale yellow with white lace. Taste is medium sweet to sour with a spice finish. Palate is medium bodied oily texture average carbonation and a chalky finish. Overall a standard wheat beer.
4.2 Looks: very pale, foggy, ehite head. Aroma: malt, fruit, lemon, bisquit. Taste: bitter sweet.
3.2 50 cl. can at home. High and lasting creamy white head. Hazy pale yellow body. Coriander dominated sweet fruity aroma. Coriander lemon flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long sweet finish.
3.4 Can. Pours hazy pale straw with stable white head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with mild touches of banana and hops. Sweetish flavour of malt and yeast, with notes of banana and touches of coriander and pepper. Estery and mildly spicy aftertaste with malty touches. A rather good beer for the style and not unenjoyable as such.
3.1 Ciekawe. W aromacie rumianek. W posmaku lekko slodkie, rumiankowe, niska goryczka. Niestety calosc psuje posmak plastiku. Plynnego plastiku.
3.4 Can: 500 ml, at home #StayHome Price: 1,10 eur nieko blogo..
2.8 Medium, averagely balanced nuances of sweet, bit funky citrus, artificial wheat, some spices. Lightly hopped with unclear profile. Medium/narrow taste spectrum and medium aftertaste with light artificial wheat. Light/medium body with medium carbonation. Overall, distinctive funky feeling but with artificial downside. 4 4 5 3 12
3.2 Golden color, hazy with white head. Wheat, citrus aromas. Light sweetness and bitterness. Bit sticky body.
2.0 Woda mineralna o lekkim smaki witbiera Zimne jeszcze jakos przejdzie.
3.1 Bottle from Prik & Tik, Riemst. Pours hazy yellow with a lasting, small, frothy, white head. Aroma & taste have lemon, wheat, white bread, banana pulp, yellow apple, orange peel, coriander; all in all a low estery profile, rather wheat with spicy & grassy hops in the finish. Medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Nothing shocking but okay.
3.1 Can. Pours lemon yellow with medium white head. Aroma is lemon, citrus, fruity, some orange, juicy, some Fanta, light yeast. Taste is fruity, yeast, some dough, lemon, citrus, some tropical juice, tangerine, some very light white bread. Nice beer!
3.3 Limburgse Witte (uit Belgisch Limburg) is een zoetig en stroperig witbiertje. Geen frisse dus. Zat in pakket Beerwulf. Een okay biertje voor zomeravonden.
3.0 Draught at Taphouse. Clear golden coloured with a medium sized white head. Fruity aroma of hay and citrus with notes of caramel and wine gums. Fruity flavour of caramel and bread with notes of citrus. Hoppy finish.
4.0 Hazy light yellow color, bubbly white head. Aroma of wheat, orange, spices. Taste has the same elements: Wheat combined with orange and hint of spices. Finishes light. Medium body, high carbonation. Excellent witbier
3.2 A light yellow beer, a head is medium and white. Aroma has wheat, some lemon and spicyness of coriander. Taste has wheat, lemon, flowers. Medium bodied. Fresh. Aromatic. Good beer.
2.5 330ml bottle. Straight from the bottle. Sweet, sugary, something, something, macro in aroma/taste. Meh.
2.9 50cl can from Prisma, Tallinn. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Mild wheaty and fruit aroma with notes of coriander, Belgian yeast and bananas. Moderate to medium sweet with light acidic notes and medium to low flavour intensity. Fair enough.
3.5 Cloudy yellow color, big white head. Aroma of wheat, malt, citrus, spices. Lightly sweet and sour taste, with mild hoppy bitterness. Thin body and average carbonation. Nice witbier.
3.5 W aromacie kolendra, skórka pomarańczy. Barwa jasnożółta, piana ładna. W smaku półsłodkie, lekkie, pszeniczne, kolendra. Bardzo przyjemny witbier.
3.0 Can from local supermarket. Hazy light yellow with strong pure white head. Citrus, hers and wheat. Taste follows suit. Lightish body and quite sweet. A sessionable wit with no frills.
3.0 Fenolowy, przyjemny witbier. Trochę za słodki i za mało ciała.
3.1 Copenhagen 26/4 2020. 25 cl slim bottle from Belgisk Bryg, Emdrup Mosevej, Kbh. NV. White label with a stripe across from left down to right. Logo is roaring lion with a shield for body (!). Pours hazy, pale yellow with a small white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin patch of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing. Aroma is medium intense with a sweetish, lemonade-ish odor of wheat malts and a candy-like quality. Sweet oranges, cloves and hints of coriander. White sugar. Light tart odor of citrus. Fairly strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively, tingling texture. Flavor is medium intense with a strong, fresh sweetness followed by a lighter tart sourness. Aftertaste is sweet-ish. Lingers shortly. Semi-dry finish. Does pretty much what I would expect of a Belgian Wit. No more, no less.
