Lindemans Blossom Gueuze
Breaking the mold among existing beer styles, Lindemans developed the Botanical Lambics, a collection of old gueuzes with a twist. Second in this series, BlossomGueuze is based on a blend of 12 months with 2 to 3 year-old lambic fermented in oak and elderflower. Refermented in the bottle, BlossomGueuze has a golden colour and combines the sourness of lambic with the subtle flavours of elderflower. Ideal as an aperitif, it is also perfect for food pairings.

2015 bottle. Dark amber with fluffy thick head. Huge funk and flowery aroma, tart, Epson salt, lemon pulp, high carbonation and moderate body, basement muskiness, oak, delicious.

Fruity, bretty, woody and acidic, medium body with an oily texture. The finish is dry.

Copenhagen 31/1 2019. 75 cl bottle from Ølhandleren from Give (web-shop). Quite intricate design printed directly in the bottles with falling stars and flowers. Quite fine design actually.
Pours almost clear, golden yellow with medium-sized head. ettles as thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing
Aroma is slightly weird blend of tart, sour fruit an some herbal, spicy sweetness. Perfumed Elder-flower, tart citrus, hints of vinegar, wet rotting leaves. Grassy.
Medium carbonation. Slightly thick, oily texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by strong sour fruitiness. Aftertaste is quite sour. Finish is dry.
Quite herbal and flowery take on a Lambic. Not uninteresting - but a little bit weird.

BB 2021. dark yellow hazy color, rather big white head. smells earthy, musty, citric, spices, hay, ripe fruits, light cork notes, light wood, peppery. very nice smell. medium body, bubbly carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes citric, earthy, spices, grassy, peppery, light wood, barnyard, musty, some cheese, once it warms up some light elder flower notes come through. finishes bubbly and light to medium sour with notes of citrus, barnyard and some peppery notes. lovely, great complexity, not that much elderflowers at first, but it comes through once it warms up a bit.

Bottle at Bar Explosive Jyväskylä shared, pouring hazy golden color. Bottled in September 2015. Aroma of flowers, herbal notes, citrus, spices, malts, tartness. Medium body, quite sour and fruity, lasting aftertaste. It’s not for everyone, but a great beer me, heavily flowery, with sourness and fruitiness in there.
Shared 750 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6%. Deep golden colour, small white head. Strong floral (elderflower) and farmhouse aroma, a hint of catpiss. Elderflower and brettanomyces flavour, medium sour.
Fra 0,75 flaske på RBHD-samling på Bjørnøy, juni-18: lett uklar gylden med ok skum. Overbevisende florale toner hele veien, fra nesetipp via gane til svelg. Eik/vanilje, hyllebær, hvite rips og ganske enkelt superlekker. Syrlig og farlig lettdrikkelig.

Lindemans Blossomgeuze
I took this to the park this morning for the pic and am drinking it tonight. Cloudy gold with a fizzy fast disappearing head of foam. The aroma is blooming blossoms, sweet tarts, hay, wheat and barnyard funk.
Light bodied with a fairly full mouthfeel at first then a dry finish. Tart, acidic, funk, lemon (sour candies) withaybe a hint of blossom stems/green herbal notes. Very tart and acidic but good. I want to pair this with a lemon tart or cheesecake...

Clear blond body. Distinct aroma of elderberry. Bit odd. Also dominant in the flavour. Well balanced but not my cup of tea.
Golden colour with quick fading head. Aroma has plenty of floral elderflower. Less so in the flavour. Very tart.
Bottle from Sep15. Pours a clear golden colour with a small fizzy head. Aroma is really lovely with almost apricot fruitiness, pretty funky, horses, big citrus, apples, light elderflower, almost strawberries. Really lovely nose. Taste is a bit more one dimensional so to speak. Citrus, light apples, soft elderflower, drying aftertaste. Quite happy with how this turned out. The nose especially.
Thursday, March 1, 2018. Bottle, 75cL. 6%. Purchase ("VandB Clair de Lune", @Poitiers, FR). Home. A sparkling yellow-orange clear beer with a medium white foamy head ; medium retention. Herb, flower, wild, barnyard notes, light lemon. Medium to sharp dry fresh sour ; thirst-quencher ; sweet note ; light bitter. Medium body, light to medium texture, average to soft gaseous, dry floral sour lasting finish. Overall, great, delicious ; nice floral wild character.
Amber color, sparkling small head. Aroma fruit, wood, tart. Taste starts with honey sweet, then champagne, elderflower, medium body, sourness and slighly tart finish. Very nice balanced. Great beer to enyoj it.

0.75 l bottle from Alko Arkadia, Helsinki. Appearance is orange, cloudy and nice head. Aroma has wood, fruits, mold. Taste has fruits, white wine, wood. This is dry, but not brut. Not really sweet either, but, eh, floral. Great substitute for sparkling wine.

The nose shows moderately intense notes of brett and Indian curry spices.
The palate is light bodied and moderately carbonated. Moderately intense tartness with pronounced notes of green pepper followed by a mid palate of sweet green apples. Very short finish but with a strong vegetal background throughout.
Bottle shared at tasting session. Light yellow colour. Nose is elderflower, geuze, floral, some benzin. Taste is low sourness, that blends perfectly with the elderflower. Fast finish, lovely aftertaste.

Frisk og funky aroma. Fin harmoni mellem det funky og det friske fra hyldeblomsterne.
Smagen er først og fremmest sur med en tør finish. Efter et par slurke melder hyldeblomsten sig.
Jeg brugte den som aperitif før en middag, og det vat den liiige lidt for vild til..

Bottle bought @ Etre IIRC. 2015 vintage. Hazy tiny burnt orange pour with a frothy white head. Very pleasant elderflower nose. Lemon, hay, dry soil, leather & barnyard. Sour, floral & tiny funky taste. Soft, dry & tart mouthfeel. Solid!
