Lindemans Cassis is a lambic made from local barley, unmalted wheat, and wild yeast. After spontaneous fermentation the lambic is aged in oak. Black currants are added creating a secondary fermentation and yielding an ale of exceptional flavor and complexity.

3.0 Piana różowa drobno pęcherzykowata, opada po chwili. Barwa krwiście czerwona, klarowna. W aromacie porzeczka. W smaku to samo, słodkie i lekko cierpkie od porzeczki. Wysycenie średnie.

3.0 The blackcurrant provides the strongest fruit presence in the range, as well as being the most sour and acidic. It is like a very intense Kir Royale. 3.1 Aromat owocowy: aronia, wiśnie, czereśnie, porzeczka. W smaku fajne, słodkie, porzeczkowe. Ogólnie bardzo fajnie się pije, ale brak dzikości i mocno jednowymiarowe. Bardzo mocny owoc, ale czuć nuty sztuczne. Bukiet nie jest złożony, ale pije się dobrze.

3.8 W smaku i aromacie intensywna czarna porzeczka, ale delikatnie również agrest, aronia, trochę nawet wiśnia. Nie czuć żadnej sztuczności, raczej czuć wysokiej jakości sok owocowy. Alkohol bardzo słabo wyczuwalny. Słodkie, no ale owoce w sumie są słodkie. Barwa mocno intensywnej czerwieni, ładna i bardzo trwała różowa piana. Z chęcią jeszcze bym do takiego piwa wrócił.

3.8 Rubinowe, zmętnione, ładna piana, trochę lacingu. W zapachu czarna porzeczka, nuty dzikie, drewno. W smaku słodkie w przyjemny, szlachetny sposób, na dalszym planie kwaśność. 7,5 za aromat i smak.

2.6 Lambic de 3,5 % abv, avec du cassis en formule concentrée à raison de 10 % du contenu (et pas abv malheureusement …) En beaucoup moins performant : des glycosides de stéviol (édulcorants), et de l'acide ascorbique (un antioxydant). Mon exemplaire, en 25 cl (??) était à 22 mois avant sa date. Couleur bordeaux profond, à l'opacité forte. Mousse rose violacé, à fins flocons, stable à 2 mm. Arômes prononcés de cassis, assez jolis et nets. 1ère bouche souple, sur un ensemble très correct où passe la pointe acidulée du lambic, en bel accord avec le cassis. Arrière-bouche assez courte, agréable. 2ème bouche où l'ensemble laisse davantage la place au lambic Arrière-bouche plus longue que la 1ère, toujours agréable Longueur assez constante sur cet ensemble fruité/acidulé. Jambes un peu grasses, longues. Levure correcte. Alcool de peu d'importance ici, on est assez concentré sur le fruit .. (ceci étant dit sans jeu de mots, bien sûr ..) Finale dans le même jeu. CONCLUSION : bière correcte sur ce fruité bien spécifique, et pour le cas d'espèce, je serais assez d'accord avec la formule en 25 cl, pour ne pas entraîner de saturation des saveurs. (7/2/5/3/9)

3.8 Color violaceo, ampia schiuma con color rosato che però non tiene per molto tempo dato l'acidità della birra. Velata ma non in modo eccessivo. La frutta domina l'aroma, ma si percepiscono anche note acetiche. In bocca si coglie un buon equilibrio tra note dolci e acide; inizialmente è fin troppo dolce, ma poi chiude con un discreto grado di acidità. Da provare con dolci alla frutta o magari con arrosti.

3.8 Bottle 25cl.@home poured into a shaker. Clear deep red colour, huge creamy pink head, stable but partially collapsing before diminishing, heavy lacing. Strong blackcurrant aroma, blackberry, wood, blackcurrant essence. Fruity taste, onset light heavy sweet and medium mild sour, blackcurrant, candy sugar, touch of wood, middle part more balanced medium sweet and sour. Medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation, balanced sweet and sour aftertaste, bit astringent, sugary, a tannine like hint of bitterness. Well-made, very nice when you like fruit beer.

3.5 0,25 l bottle. Pours very dark violet with red tint. A finger of lasting pink head, plenty of lacing. Blackcurrant aroma dominates nose, it's also acidic and light vinous. Taste is quite sweet, acidity moderate, hardly any perceptible bitterness. Mouthfeel is slick, carbonation average. Finish is quite long, sweet, ripe blackcurrant at first and then acidity kick in and lasts a while. Slightly artificial altogether, but drinkable and pleasantly sour.

4.1 Smells surprisingly metallic at first, but with a few swirls, a natural blackcurrant smell emerges. Fruit dominates the taste, moreso than some of the other fruit beers from Lindemans, which were more tangy (framboise) or revealed more of the earthy and old hop flavors of a typical lambic. Still an exceptional drink.

3.4 Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso propende per il fruttato. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata, permanendo in maniera apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma ha una scarsa tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è rosso rubino. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro non è invadente. La forza gustativa è elevata e si prolunga in modo è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Il tetto della bocca porta note di zuccherino, miele, agrumi, sour, ribes, arancia amara, limone e mandarino.

2.4 Flesje gedeeld met Tomhendriksen. Roodbruin helder bier met mooie schuimkraag. Aroma en smaak van kersen en bessen. Het is erg zuur maar heeft meer weg van limonade dan van bier.

4.5 A stunning thick and sweet cassis

3.5 Bottle. Not sure where from but was sat in my cellar for about 7 years, is five years past its sell-by date, but was absolutely fine, even with a cork in place. The fruits are really strong in both aroma and taste, and dense in the latter giving it a lot of depth, much more than its alcohol content would suggest. The lambic process has given it a tangy texture with a bitter-sweetness. Dark purple with a small head.

3.7 Opalizujące, refleksy rubinowe, kolor soku z czarnej porzeczki, piana szybko opadająca, średnio pęcherzykowa, delikatny lacing. W nosie przede wszystkim dzikie drożdże, delikatna czarna porzeczka. Średnio nasycone, bardzo porzeczkowe w smaku, słodycz zbalansowana z kwasowością, nuty drożdżowe nie wychodzą tutaj na pierwszy plan. Rześko.

3.6 Jak w przypadku wszystkich Lindemansów bardzo wyczuwalny aromat tytułowego owocu. Kwaskowe, bardzo mało alkoholowe. Dobrze skomentowane poniżej, że przypomina piwo z sokiem. Pite powoli bardzo dobrze rozkłada się po kubkach smakowych.
