We use fresh, not from concentrate, unsweetened cherry filtrate which we blend with lambic that is at least one year old before fermenting & macerating for up to 3 days.

This kriek is sweeter and fruitier than Old Kriek Cuvée René. Thanks to its innovative flavour, it was a resounding success both here in Belgium as well as around the world. Nowadays, it is undoubtedly the reference kriek for consumers.

Ingredients: Malt, wheat, 25% cherry juice, fructose, hops, cherry flavouring, sugar substitute, ascorbic acid, yeast.

3.6 8.45 oz. bottle poured into Lindeman’s signature flute glass. Dark red pour with thick pink head and good carbonation. Darker pour than the Framboise. Aroma of red cherry flesh and acidic fruity notes. Fresh berries. Very tart sour top notes. Juicy, fruity and sour. Extreme pucker throughout. Not as sweet as Framboise. A very delicate beer that is well balanced by the exotic yeast strains and spontaneous fermentation. Very drinkable. Pairs well with cheese or dark chocolate. Can’t get into this one nearly as much as the sweeter flavors (Pomme, Framboise, Peche, etc.)

2.7 Bière 25 cl. Je ne sais pas comment j'ai fait pour en avoir une dans ma cave à bières alors que je l'évite scrupuleusement depuis mes 16 ans. Je n'aime pas les bières aromatisées aux fruits, et surtout aux fruits rouges, mais puisqu'elle était là, je l'ai bue quand même. Au final elle passe plutôt bien, c'est trop sucré pour moi, mais comme j'aime la cerise de façon générale, je m'y retrouve. Correcte, même si je ne la reprendrai pas car je n'ai pas le sentiment de boire une bière.

4.2 Keg at Poechenekelder, Brussels. Literally just had a Cantillon and then this. You may be snobby about Lindemans and with good reason but at the end of the day, it's tasty and fresh. Happily have a glass most days. The taste here is outrageously similar to cherry drop sweets (bassets) that i adored as a kid.

4.5 Beautiful colour. Balanced Sweetness and sourness. Perfect cherry flavored goodness. If your are into perfumated lambique, this is for you. Fresh and feminine for a hot summer's day.

3.1 Color rubí turbio con espuma media rosa de buena retención y residuo. Aroma a cereza, piruleta y azúcar glas con notas a yogur. Sabor a piruleta, cereza ácida y trigo con notas a cítricos y yogur. Dulzor medio-alto, alcohol ligero, acidez media y amargor nulo con regusto medio-largo. Textura acuosa, cuerpo medio y carbonatación medio-alta.

4.3 Very intense aroma of sweet cherries. Clear dark red with a low beige head. Taste is heavy sweet with a slightly sour touch. Medium body, sticky texture & average carbonation.

3.3 .25 bottle. Clear red thick, creamy and generally stable, pinkish head, nice lacing. Aroma cherry stone, cherries, bretty, hints of horse blanket. Taste sweet and sour. Carbonation medium to high, tingling. Bitterness low, tannic. Aftertaste fruity, cherries, slightly milky. Nice, of a bit too sweet.

3.6 Butelka 250 ml Aromat: Coś jak wiśnie w likierze. Wygląd: Piana drobnopęcherzykowa, długo zostaje w formie powłoki i oblepia szkło. Barwa rubinowa, przejrzysta Smak: Wiśniowe, ale taki bardziej smak syropu wiśniowego, wiśniowego Tymbarka ;) Lekko kwaskowe, lekkie, niskoalkoholowe. Fajne piwo na lato, ale traci w stosunku cena/jakość.

3.9 Piwo klarowne o rubinowej barwie. Obfita, różowa piana o niezłej trwałości. W aromacie wiśniowo a w tle majaczy nieco klasycznego lambica. Trunek niskowysycony. W smaku przede wszystkim znowu wiśnia a w tle kwaśność- jedyny przejaw "lambikowości". Przyjemny, pijalny kriek idealny na ciepły, letni wieczór.

4.0 Couleur rouge rosée, légèrement trouble, très fine et abondante mousse rose. Arômes : cerise, amande amère, citron. légère aigreur, très bonne acidité et peu (ou pas) d'amertume. Recette délicieuse quoique bien éloigné d'une bière classique.

4.1 25 cl bottle. Red color, low head. Smell of red fruits and cereals. Fantastic sweer and deep taste. One of my all time favorites.

This is their second one i try after the Lindemans Framboise and this one was an even bigger surprise - loved it straight away, such a good and heavy taste of cherries that goes well with the lambic.. easy to enjoy, really sweet and not as sour and acidic as expected. Clear ruby color with small pink-white head. Low alcohol and very smooth. Sweet, but taste is wonderful.

3.1 This variation is perhaps the freshest tasting but is very full on with cherries dominating the aroma and flavour. With a much sweeter nature in comparison to Lindemans Old Kriek Cuvée René, this will appeal to people after a less acidic and easy-to-handle drink. 3.5 Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een rood bier met een roze schuim. Het heeft een zoete kriekengeur. De smaak is zoet, zurig, kersen achtig met tonen van bessen.

3.9 Czerwone z dość wysoką i trwałą, bladoróżową pianą o małych pęcherzykach. Ładnie oblepia szkło. W aromacie są po prostu wiśnie. Jest dość intensywnie, taki wiśniowy kompot na lekkich sterydach. W smaku jest bardzo bogato. Jest przyjemnie kwaskowe (ale nie tak nachalnie jak w sourach), jest wiśniowa, dojrzała słodycz. Bardzo aksamitne, lekkie i przyjemne w odbiorze, ale równocześnie jest dosyć złożone. Ciekawe wejście w świat lambików

3.1 Clear ruby color and a nice pinky head. Sweet, fruity, neither funky nor sour.

3.5 Ampolla 33 cl Carrefour. Aroma a cirera amb rerefons sour, gust ben dolç sense arribar a empalagos.

2.7 Kriek lambic de 3,5 % abv, en format 25 cl. Au menu : du froment, 10 % de griottes concentrées, des glycosides de stéviol (pour édulcorer ..) et de l'acide ascorbique (pour anti-oxyder ..). Mon exemplaire était à 22 mois avant sa date (frais comme une griotte ..) Couleur rouge écarlate aux reflets bordelaisés, et clarté nette. Bulles fines, partout, vives. Mousse rosé framboisé, soyeuse, stable à 3 mm. Arômes de cerise du nord, bien net, franc, peau de cerise. 1ère bouche souple, à la belle entame cerisée sur un fond de vin blanc sec. Arrière-bouche qui me fait penser au kir dont on a connu la mode dans les années 70, qui était en l'occurrence un mélange de bourgogne aligoté et de cassis, mais l'esprit de ce cocktail est très présent ici. 2ème bouche souple, avec un mélange fruité/acidulé persistant. Arrière-bouche aux proportions correctes sur le fruité Longueur qui maintient un côté fruité agréable, mais sans complexité Jambes à gros flocons, courtes, collantes sur la hauteur. Levure du style. Alcool banal, et d'ailleurs sans intérêt pour un jus de fruit Finale sans surprise CONCLUSION : une kriek admissible, qui peut intéresser les enfants qui rentrent de l'école, ou les grands qui apprécient le kir .. (6/3/6/3/9) NB Pour l'anecdote, il faut noter quand même que 6 raters sont capables de donner un 5 à ce type de bière ... Heureusement, parmi eux, ne se trouve aucun belge : on a sauvé la face ! Le premier belge est à 4,7 et le pauvre n'a que 187 dégustations à ce jour, le suivant est à 4,3 et compte 14200 ratings .. je ne veux pas en arriver là !
