3.0 Easy drinking beer, definitely a save call
3.0 330 ml bottle bought at YATA in MOKO, Mong Kok. Clear amber red colour; Half finger head with soapy off-white foam which fades in 40 seconds; Fair sticky lacing with notable small carbonation; Fragrant aroma of Amber malt, with tropical fruits, light grapefruits, cherries, strong red fruits, caramel, floral, sugar, light bread, light lemon and light grass; Close to light sweet taste of light Ale malt, with grains, very light caramel, light red fruits, floral, light molasses, wood, light biscuits, lemon, medium bitter hops and grass; Light body. Dry and slightly slick palate; Mouth feel is fair Ale maltyness in a thin background. Light caramel, light red fruits and floral, low sweetness, woody notes with hoppy lemon to round. Too easy Hoppiness is tropical fruits, light grapefruits, floral, light lemon and light grass in nose. Floral, wood, lemon and grass in taste; Bitterness is fair for a lasting mid astringent fair malty finish; Dry after taste. Grainy and quite bitter to mouth. Comments: This one has good tropical and red fruit aroma, but for light 3.8% abv Ale from Little Creatures, the feather-light taste in malt and hops is more or less expected. Drinkable, but it could have been more, given the fairly impressive hoppy aroma.
3.3 Dark amber/brown colour with thin, quickly dissipating head. Sweet malt aroma and accompanying malt & bread taste. Low carbonation. Slight background bitterness. Lengthy malt finish. Really nice mid-strength session beer but fairly one dimensional.
3.2 Tap at Cookie, Melbourne. Poured a clear reddish amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, light red berry fruit. The flavour is light bitter sweet with a crisp light woody, fruity metallic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Quite a drinkable session beer that won’t win any awards.
3.0 Bottle 330 ml / Drinks of the World - Bern (CH). Garnet amber with an average beige and fleeting head. Soft aromas, red fruits, caramel, roasted. The taste is similar, caramel-toffee and roasted with notes of citrus and herbs for a slight bitterness, a full-body and a creamy texture. Easy to drink.
3.0 From bottle (BB Sept'18) in shaker. Pours ruby-amber with big head and aroma of toffee and light citrus that reappear in the finish. Easy drinking session beer, but prefer the pale
3.1 Clear, copper colour with a finger of head. Sweet, malty nose and a similar flavour. Low carbonation. Very little hop character and only a slight bitterness. A fair mid-strength but the malt flavour becomes a bit much after a few.
3.0 Bottle at Staxx, Shanghai. Pours clear brown with a white head. Aroma of fruit and malt, with toffee. Bittersweet finish.
3.0 Pours a clear copper, low carbonation, with a light malty nose. Very clean sweet taste. Small malt hop balance. Almost sweet lager like in flavour. Long malt aftertaste lingers. Subtle but good mid strength beer.
3.3 Nice midstrength beer better than any other widely available midstrength beer in Australia. Good balance of malt and hop flavours.
3.3 Geruch malzig leichter hopfen, Geschmack schön hopfig leichte frucht süffig
3.0 Aus der Flasche. Kupferfarbenes Bier. Hopfen in der Nase. Citrus Antrunk dann sanft bitterer Abgang. Schönes Alltagsbier.
2.6 33 cl bottle @ Timo A. BBE 30.11.2015. Pours clear copper color with a small head. Vegetables and malts on the nose, mild berry hints with grass and dull English hops. Flavor is dry and malty, some dry fruit notes. Dry bitter palate. Way too "English" for me. 3323
2.2 Draught at Regatta Hotel, Brisbane. Poured a crystal clear coppery colour with 5mm of off-white foam that diminished quickly to a collar that laced OK. Aroma subtly of sweet musk and +-caramel malt with no obvious hops; a bit like a sweet lager. Taste is bland; no obvious bitterness; lager-like. Light body. Crisp, smooth and refreshing. Very much like a dark sweet lager rather than an ale.
3.3 Bottle - pours a dark amber color with a nice head t. Aroma of roasted malt with a bit of caramel sweetness . nice malty taste a hint of caramel sweetness and toffee. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. . Nice beer .
1.7 330ml bottle (K Kamppi, Helsinki) Bland caramelly lager aroma. Pale orange. Taste also just bland caramelly and lagery. Rough finish, a bit metallic. If this is an ale, I’m a goat fucker.
3.0 Tap. Chestnut brown, low white head. Light blueberry notes on caramel and a hint toasty notes. Medium light body, mellow body. Light fruity finish. Restrained flavors, easy quaffable in the heat.
3.4 I go back and forth on how much I like this and it depends on whether you have it on tap or from a bottle. Tap is as you’d expect better, and stronger but it does leave for of a lingering bitter aftertaste on the palate. Bottle not as full a flavour and less of an aftertaste. Overall a pretty great beer AND for a mid strength it has the most flavour of any I have had to date. If I want a mid strength - this this is my go to beer
3.6 0.33 l bottle from local supermarket. Dark amber colour and small head. Looks like English bitter, but this has Australian hops and that’s what makes this one interesting. Quite refreshing.
3.1 A copper beer, a head is small and blond. Aroma has toffeeish maltyness with bready notes, lemony and wooden hoppyness. Surprisingly fresh. Taste has caramel and some fruits, also lemon, mild bitterness. Also taste is fresh. Light bodied, but not watery, slightly short end. Actually, quite good beer with nice freshness even the habitus is different.
2.7 A lightly flavoured malty beer with elements of caramel and herbs. A tiny bit of bitterness mixed with sweetness with a very clear carbonation on your tongue. Alright beer to drink for fun!
2.6 light sweet bread aroma, golden, clear, tan foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, light body, oily feel, bitter, long finish,
2.8 Amber coloured and clear. Has an off-white head, medium duration. Lightly sweet, toasted aroma. Flavor starts sweet, malts, faint caramel. Moderate bitter finish.
2.9 330 ml bottle. BB 30/Nov/15. (K-Citymarket) Pirkkala, Finland. Dark red color with a tiny off-white head. Sugary and toffee sweetness, mild hops and malt in the aroma. The flavor is sweetness, malt and floral hops. Too sweet.
3.0 Shared bottle at the hamlet. Pour is medium brown, has malty sweetness and not much hop coming through. Nothing particularly exciting, but for a 3.8% brew this is a decent session beer.
3.4 At only 3.8% this is a good effort. Amber colored, white head. Slightly malty, caramel aroma. Mild flavored, low bitterness. Drinkable.
3.4 Smooth and clear brown body, wispy head, lots of sweetness, nuts, light caramel. Looks heavier than it is, goes down very easy. Tasty.
3.1 Pint bottle into pint glass.floral, orange, frothy. lightly bitter, very lightly carbonated. Head dies down to small film, a little lacing. Nice blend of hops and malt (they seem to alternate on your taste buds). Slightly reminiscent of Tui but much more agreeable. Nice beer.
2.7 Bottle @ Christers. Pours amber with a small offwhite head. Aroma of light malt, light caramel, little fruity hops. Flavor of malt, caramel, fruit, strawberries, Medium body, overcarbonated. 121114
2.5 Bottle, 3.8% Clear dark amber/brown with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, fruit, hop and a little toasted. Flavour is malt, caramel, toasted, notes of berries, little over carbonated, medium sweet, little thin and a little bitter.
